Good Sports Program

ReBoot this weekend

It's that time again and ReBoot is this weekend. Check out the weekend schedule at the link below:

http://www.rebootinbermagui.com.au/

There are record entries for the ocean swims so make sure you get down to the beach on Sunday morning.

The tug-of-war on Saturday is also one to watch. See you there!

Bermagui SLSC is proud to have Level 3 Accreditation under the Good Sports Program.

Good Sports is a national program working to make community sporting clubs healthy, safe and family friendly environments. There are more than 5,700 community sporting clubs involved around Australia.

Through Good Sports, clubs work through three levels of accreditation that identify a range of areas in which they can improve practices including alcohol and tobacco management, safe transport and alternative fundraising strategies.

Welcome to our new Youth Leadership Team

Bermagui SLSC is excited to announce a new Youth Leadership Team:

Jai Curven Eric Hills Poppy Logue Katlyn Scott

They'll be working with Club President, Bruce McAslan, to drive some new initiatives to engage people in the 13 - 18 age range and they'll also be running some Friday night programs for all of our Nippers and Cadet members to come down to the club and enjoy some youth-run activities.

We'll keep you posted as the plans come together.

Congrats to the Bermagui Breakers

Congrats to all of the Bermagui Breakers teams for a great season.

The U11's took out the Grand Final last weekend beating Narooma in a thriller. The U13's came runner up to Pambula after another thriller, scoring 4 goals in the last 7 minutes to make it a nail biting finish.

All of the kids played with heart and good sportsmanship and are a credit to our town.

Well done everyone and already looking forward to next year! Off to the cricket pitch and surf club for now.
