EditorialWANT TO WELCOME YOU to the first edition of the Kingsword International Womens

Magazine. As I write, we are in the middle of preparations for our annual International

Womens Conference. I am so excited, yet a part of me is nervous. It happens to meevery year. As I seek to be sensitive to God and follow His plans for these Women

Conferences each year, a part of me wonders if it will all work out. Will I be able to communicate

what God is showing me to the planning team? Will we have enough time to complete our planning,

execution and do it excellently before the date of the Conference? I dont question the God-part, it

is the man-part that gets me a little nervous every year. I do have an amazing team that works with

me every year. What they do in executing the plans for the conferences is nothing short of a miracle.

At the end of the day everything always works out well and the lives of multitudes of women are

imparted. It is so amazing to know that God can commit such an awesome part of His plans to human

hands. It is a privilege to work with God.

This year, for the first time, the Conference will be held in two cities. It is going to be one Conference

in two cities of two different continents. I am excited, this is really a dream come true. We have had

the womens conferences in Chicago for many years. This is our 6th year of having the conferences.

And now, for the first time, we will also be having the conference in Lagos, Nigeria. I know that the

same life-transforming anointing that marks the conferences in Chicago will be available at the

Lagos conference as well.

Well, this magazine commemorates our conference this year. The

articles, tips and testimonies will bless you. I have requested for

contributions from women at our installations in North America,

Africa and Europe. They are women that I respect and admire.

You will be blessed by their writings. You will receive insight into

their lives. Many of them are pastors in KingsWord Ministries. I have

known many of them for several years. Their lives are testimonies.

I love you and believe in your destiny. You are a peculiar woman. You

may have your shortcomings in the natural but you dont have to wear

them on your mind. Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Put on your

identity as a Supernatural Woman.

SupernaturalThe

WomanMan is a supernatural being. Of course, by man,I mean mankind. So, this includes man, woman,and child. We are often so caught up in what isgoing on in the natural that we are unaware of thefact that we are supernatural beings. The naturalworld may be busy but think about it, the spiritworld is even busier. That is the realm that Godoperates from. Angels operate from that realm

too. Even though man may not realize it, that ishis realm as well. A mans status in the natural isdetermined firstly by his status in the spiritworld. A mans results in the naturalare determined by his spiritualstate. So, a spiritually dead manwill manifest death. A man who isalive spiritually will manifest life. Thespirit world is the production center.

The spirit of a man is his productioncenter.

So, to answer the question, What isthe supernatural? The supernaturalis the realm that a person who isspiritually alive ought to operate from.If you have been born again, then you aresupernaturally alive. When you were dead inyour trespasses and sins, you were dead to thesupernatural. You could not take charge of naturalthings by enforcing higher laws. You could notuse your dominion based on your position in therealm of the spirit. There is ranking in the spirit

world and you were at the bottom of the ranks. Thedevil could lord it over you as he pleased. Both thespirit world and the natural world could dominateyou at will. Then circumstances were truly beyond

your control.

Now that you are saved, things dont have to bethat way. You dont have to and you should not,live your life in subjection to the natural world.Dont let go of your supernatural advantage. Thinkdifferent, walk different and act different. Expectdifferent. Dont be limited by this natural world.

The natural world has limitationsa lot oflimitations. To confine yourself to the natural

when you can activate the supernatural is to limityour life. You are a supernatural being. You are asupernatural woman; things can happen to youand for you that may not be common to other

people. You can experience favor supernaturallyyou can experience increase supernaturally,

you can have joy supernaturally.

You can walk in the fruits ofthe spirit. To do so is to live asupernatural lifestyle. At everypoint in time, there will always

be things in the natural tellingyou that you have no right to

peace. That is when you enforcesupernatural peace over turmoil

that may be going on in the natural.

There will be things telling you that all hope is lost,all hell is loose and there is nothing to be happyabout. Dont listen to the natural; instead, employthe supernatural force of joy. There is supernaturalgrace available for the seemingly numerous taskspresented before you on a daily basis.

They say a mans work is from dusk to dawn but awomans job is never done. It seems like there arealways more things to do in a day than there

are hours to get them done. When I was single, I thought I was very busy. Then I got married and Ithought I was very busy. Then I had children, started a church and thought I was so busy. The truth isthat things dont get less busy. There will always be responsibilities and demands placed on you. Dontattempt to do it in the natural. Dont attempt to take the natural route. You are a supernatural woman.Supernatural grace can be supplied to you.

When supernatural grace is available, you do more with fewer resourcesyou get a supernatural boost.

Actually, its more than a boost. The supernatural is more than a boost to the natural. The supernaturalis a different way of doing things. It is the God-way of doing things. Ask yourself, if God was in myposition, if He lived my life, what type of life would that be? Would it be a defeated life? Would it bea broke life? Would He drag Himself from day to day dreading what is to come? Imagine God in yourshoes. Someone says, But that is God. He is different. After all, He is God. He has all power and authority.He wouldnt have problems. But really, you are a child of God, created in His image and likeness. Youhave His nature. His nature is your nature. His life is your life. What qualifies Him to be God is what

qualifies you to be the New Creation. The life of God in you qualifies youfor the supernatural life, which is life as God has it. Factor in that

life; live in the consciousness of it. Say to yourself, over and overagain, I have life and that life qualifies me for the supernatural

lifestyle!

The supernatural lifestyle is essentially enforcing GodsWord as reality. It is taking what Gods Word says andmolding your world accordingly. There is no way this can bedone without a lifestyle of faith. The supernatural lifestyle

and faith lifestyle go hand in hand. If the supernatural isnatural to you then faith is natural to you. Faith is a normal

lifestyle for the just. The just shall live by faith. They will notjust have their needs met by faith. The just shall live by

faiththey speak faith, walk faith, and breathe faith.Dont look at faith as an impossible lifestyle for you.You are a supernatural woman. You have what ittakes to operate freely in the faith arena. It is yourrealm.

There are two realities. There is a reality based on thenatural. There is also a reality based on the Word.

These two realities often contradict each other. Asan example, consider a woman that has experienced

much hurt and abuse in her life. She may havebeen abused by family members and/or otherrelationships. Her circumstances tell her she oughtto hang her head low. She ought to withdraw into theshadows. She has no reason to be happy and nothing

to be proud of in her life. The Word however sayssomething different. The Word says she is a daughter ofZion who ought to be set free from the bondages and

limitations of the past. She ought to be the head andnot the tail. The Word says that the reproach of the past

will be forgotten and God will restore the years that the

locust and cankerworm have eaten. For everything thatthe enemy has done to her, there is so much that has been

promised in the Word to bring manifold restoration.

In the natural, she will always be limited but in thesupernatural she can rise above her limitations.However, she can only do so by faith. Faith is thesubstance of things hoped for. It is the evidence ofthings unseen. Faith says that I may not see it butif Gods Word says it, then it is my reality. Faith is achoice. At that moment when you are confronted

by two realities, you have to take the reality ofthe Word and enforce it on every other contrarysituation. You have to make a decision for theWord. Even if you are not sure of what the Wordsays about your situation, dont take your naturalcircumstances as final. Find out what the Word ofGod says.

Take time to meditate on what the Word says.What happens when you meditate? You seeyourself as the Word sees you. You place yourselfin the future. By so doing, your faith will begin togrow. You may have started with little faith butas you take the Word and use it to paint a pictureof what you want your reality to be, your faithwill begin to grow. It will grow until yousee nothing else but what the Wordsays about you. That was whathappened to Abraham. He keptseeing what God had saidabout him. With the Word, hewas able to develop a strongimage of himself as father

of many nations. That wassupernaturalsuperimposingthe super of God on the natural.

Are you a supernatural woman? Thenmake a decision to walk and live by faith.Women have a tenacity built into them. If theytap into their God-given strength, they dont giveup easily. Even the most gentle of women willcarry a child for nine months and when it is timeto push, she will bear down and push the babyout. The lifestyle of faith takes some tenacity. Itrequires making a decision not to quit or give up.It requires a decision not to give in to failure. Putup a fight. Woman, what is going on in your liferight now? What situations and circumstances arearrayed against you? Do you just want to throwin the towel? Do you feel like it is not even worthit? No, you dont have to give up. Fight the goodfight of faith. Its called a good fight because youhave every potential to win but you cant win ifyou dont fight. Fight!

Fight for your marriage. Fight for your family. Fightfor your finances. Fight for your ministry. Fight foryour relevance in life. Fight for your destiny!

As a supernatural woman, you have to dare tolive your purpose. God told Joshua over and overagain to be strong and courageous. A strong and

courageous attitude is a daring attitude. It is anattitude that says, I will do it no matter what.Each day you get up, there are already obstacleswaiting to hinder you in the fulfillment of yourpurpose that day. Some days are more challengingthan others. Whatever the case may be, you haveto remember that purpose is fulfilled one day ata time, so each day counts. This is not to put youunder pressure but to put things in perspective. Itdoesnt mean you have to be busy and on the goevery single day. It just means that each day, as

you set your feet on the ground, youpurpose to live that day to the fullest.

The interesting thing is that ittakes a lifestyle of faith and loveto live this way. The love walk is

an excellent way of life. To excelin your purpose, you need tokeep yourself in the love of God. Aperson who walks in love does nothave their mind troubled by whatpeople have done to them and how

they should respond. They walkaccording to Gods standard of love

and in so doing maintain tranquilityof mind. This results in an ability to

think soundly, make sound decisions andlive a purposeful life.

With God, all things are possible and with abelieving one, all things are possible. Get yourfaith activated. Dont run away from challenges.Be strong and courageous and dare to fulfill your

purpose. What are you called to be and what isyour position right now? Are you a mother, a wife,a single woman, a professional or a minister?What are you called to do? What has God made youto be? Whatever it may be, do it supernaturally.Occupy your place as a supernatural woman!

In conclusion, the supernatural lifestyle is notbeyond your reach. The realm of the supernaturalis not for spooky or super-spiritual people. It isnot for people who have lost touch with reality butfor those who have gone beyond the limitations

of reality. Their reality has become aligned withGods.

Thelifestyle of

faith takes sometenacity. It requires

making a decision notto quit or give up. It

requires a decisionnot to give in to

failure.

he Proverbs 31 woman gives us

a perfect picture of what Godexpects from the Supernaturalwoman. This is an indication

that God designed the supernatural womanto live a balanced life. Here are some tips toachieving a balanced life:

The secret of thevirtuous woman is in Proverbs 31:30, Charmcan be deceiving, and beauty fades away, buta woman who honors the LORD deserves tobe praised. The fear of God is the beginningof wisdom. Finding balance and the ability

to juggle different things at the same timetakes wisdom. The fear of God, a reverence forGod, accepting Gods Word as final authorityand total submission to God opens us up towisdom for exploits.

A lot of women struggle because they tend toaccept one of their God-given roles but notall. Some are content being only mothers,some others pursue career to the point wherethey have little or no involvement with theirkids, others are simply focused on ministry, sothey give most of their time to one area andare consistently lagging behind in others.

Time is a resource that needsto be filled up with relevant activities.Utilizing some idle periods will go a long wayin helping you achieve more. The events inour life ought to be planned and prioritized.Jesus said anyone willing to do anything

worthwhile must be a good planner (Luke

14:28-29). As a pastor and an accountant,I struggled with the monthly close processuntil I recently came to this understanding. Iam now learning to enjoy that period whilstmaking the most of off-peak periods forfamily events, church program and rest.

Ephesians 5:18says, And do not be drunk with wine, inwhich is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.Being filled with the spirit is fundamental tohandling the pulls from our different roles.Taking time to pray in the Holy Ghost engages

the help of the Holy Spirit in the various areasof your life. Imbalance sometimes could alsobe as a result of failure to accept the help thatcomes from God.

Proverbs 31:17 says, Shebinds her loins with strength, and makes herarms strong. It takes internal and externalstrength to have proper balance. Innerstrength comes from God, His Word and theworkings of the Holy Spirit inside us. Feedingthe inward man with relevant nutrition isvery important. External strength is alsoimportant. Eating healthy and regular mealsfacilitates our external strength. At a timein my life, I was working long hours andhad splitting headaches. However, when Iadjusted my feeding habits, the headachesdisappeared. The kind of assignment God hasgiven a woman is like that of Elijah in 1 Kings19:5-7. Arise and Eat, you have so many thingsto accomplish as a woman. Feed well.

Making the most of the relationships aroundme without any prejudice has helped mesignificantlyin-laws, siblings, paidhelpers, church folks. We all need destinyhelpers. We can ask God for helpers. I havedone that on several occasions and each time,He heard me. The Proverbs 31 woman had

maids; Abraham had 300 trained servants inhis house; Jesus had twelve disciples. So, gethelp.

For a long time, I struggled withmy responsibilities at home. However, afterlistening to Pastor Mays message titled,Occupy the home, I realized I had beenvisiting and not occupying my home. So, Itook more deliberate steps to be involvedin my childrens lives especially during ourfamily prayer time. Anything that is vacant iscalling for someone or something to occupy.

Some families have issues because eitherthe husband or wife failed to occupy theirplace in the area of sex or provision and otherpeople stepped in. Make a decision to occupyso another does not take your place whetherat work, home or church. Let us all fill upand become diligent in your role as a wife,mother, working professional and someonesent to the body of Christ. Occupy till Jesuscomes.

Children are a blessing, a heritage and reward fromGod to parents. God has entrusted parents to bestewards and shepherds of their glorious destinies.

We see from the Word that God communicates His divineagenda to parents even before conception e.g. Samson,John the Baptist, Jesus. God, the ultimate parent, has laidthe platform of communication to children.

Communication therefore should begin before birth.Parents need to begin speaking to their children evenbefore conception. Declare Gods Word, blessing,promise and wholeness over them. This

journey continues into

conception, throughoutthe pregnancy, at birth,and as the child continuesto grow. In fact, as longas you are a parent,you are expected tocontinue this modeof communication.During this process,

you may not get a verbalresponse at all times, but their spirit man

is soaking it all in, and your children will manifest whatyou declared.

Tips For Effective Communication With Your Children:

t Give your children total attention when they arespeaking with you, and expect the same from them.Listen to them actively, and dont be dismissive.

t Ensure that things important to you are importantto them, especially when they are young. Get theminvolved in what you do, and get them involved early!

t Pay attention totheir interests anddesires. Those couldbe pointers to Godspurposes for them.

t Children will rise toyour expectationand vision for them.Challenge them reasonably.Consider the maturity level of your childalong with their age in this process. If a 5 year-oldconverses like an 8 year-old, adjust quickly and raise

your expectations.t Give your children an opportunity to explain

themselves, even when you are convinced theyare wrong. This can ease the correction process,especially when they had innocent motives.

t Help each child feel comfortable sharing theirthoughts and emotions with you without any shame.Avoid embarrassing them publicly.

t You are the parent, and the children need to respectthat. Dont let them speak over you or while you aretalking (and dont do the same to your spouse).

t Affirm your children every time they do what is right,and frequently express your love and affection tothem.

t Dont react in anger or provoke your children towrath.

t Children listen to your actions more than yourwords. So, do what you say and say what you do.

BEEF & BROCCOLI served with Rice is

a nice meal. Here is a simple recipe (serves 4):

Prep time: 15-20 minutes | Cook Time: 30-40

minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1lb of beef stew meat cubed (this can be

purchased pre-cut at your local grocery

store)

3.5-4 cups Uncle Bens Rice

1 Large Red Onion Chopped

2 Cloves Chopped Garlic

1 Habanero Pepper (Optional)

10-12 oz. Box Frozen Broccoli Florets

1 packet McCormick Beef Stroganoff Sauce

Mix

OPTIONAL/ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:

2 Whole Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

Cubed (substitute for beef)

1 Red, Green, Orange, and Yellow Green

peppers. Save time and purchase these

veggies pre-cut from your local grocery

store. NOTE: (Add fresh or frozen pre-cut

green peppers for additional flavor and

color).

26 oz. Can of Cream of Mushroom or Chicken

(Substitute for McCormick Sauce Packet)

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a sauce pan heat olive oil and add

chopped onions, garlic, and habanero.

2. Combine cubed beef into the sauce pan with

chopped onions, garlic, and habanero. Pour

1 to 1.5 cups of water until the beef is slightly

covered. Place a cover over the sauce pan

and allow beef to steam cook. Make sure

heat is on medium-low fire to get a nice

even cook. This should take approximately

7-8 minutes. NOTE: Water can be added as

needed until beef is cooked through.

3. Into the saucepan combine rice, water, and

beef stroganoff sauce mix together with

the beef. Stir until sauce mix is dissolved.

After combining sauce mix, add your own

additional seasoning to taste. Cover sauce

pan and allow rice to cook over medium-low

heat approximately 15-20minutes. NOTE:

Additional water can be added until desired

texture of rice is reached.

4. Stir in frozen broccoli florets (and /or other

veggies optional) to beef and rice. Allow to

cook for an additional 5 minutes.

5. Bon appetit! You have a healthy well

balanced meal for your family with protein,

veggies, and a starch cooked in one hour or

less.

The womens conferences of

KingsWord International Church

have always been a great time forwomen to have a gathering specifically

for us! Historically we have included the

men in all but one of the sessions. A time

of refreshing, it is an opportunity to learn

from women in ministry, as they teach

us from scripture patterns that Christ laid

down.

The last conference was titled Occupy.

Based on a parable from scripture, the

statement Occupy till I come, was theclarion call for us as women to occupy

the place God has called us to, fearlessly,

confidently, prayerfully, powerfully.

A woman who occupies her place is

doing what God has called her to do

and helping those God has called her to

help. A woman who occupies is fulfilling

purpose and will be rewarded by God.

These are three day conferences that

take place over a weekend in the spring.Each one better than the last, the KIC

womens conferences are another

opportunity to hear the Word, take stock,

garner strength as well as fellowship with

like-minded women.

LIVING AFULFILLEd

Women face many challenges especially in establishing

good relationships with one another. Some of the

challenges stem from insecurities, fear of being

vulnerable, mistrust and wrong perceptions. These are just

to name a few. We need to be truthful with ourselves about

where we are, what we need to work on and who we are in

Christ. If not, we can give the enemy an opportunity to use

past experiences and wrong mindsets to breed attitudes and

emotions such as strife, envy, jealousy, and rivalry. We womenare beautiful, unique and wonderfully made. We are creatures

with amazing capacities and giftings. We are meant to be

blessings to one another. There is something that each one of

us supplies. We have various anointings and experiences in

Christ. We must not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy to

stop our positive influence on one another. We must say NO

to any limitation on our lives.

God has empowered us as women with everything that we

need to accomplish what He has called us to do. When we take

our eyes off of our assignment then it can be easy to begin to

despise or even covet another womans gifts, talents, fashion

sense, ministry, family life, etc. We dont have to allow this

in our lives. Thank God He has given us a solution through HisWord. We dont have to avoid female relationships, but rather

we can develop and sustain healthy friendships with Godly

wisdom and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. We have to guard

our hearts. We need to make sure we engage the love of God

and the working of the Holy Spirit to overcome challenges in

our relationships. Thank God James 3:14-16 has provided a path

for us to follow;

1. You must first allow the Holy Spirit to help you recognize

and acknowledge that there is an attitude that exists in your

heart that needs to be dealt with (James 3:14). He is the Spirit

of Truth.

2. Explore your heart and be honest with God about the rootof the emotion or attitude that you are experiencing (James

3:15)

3. Make a decision to access Gods wisdom to reveal and

help you address the root of the thought, emotion and/or

attitude that is affecting the relationship.

4. Receive Gods wisdom and make the decision that you

will maximize the Godly relationships that God has placed

around you through various women whether it is to stretch

you, give you a greater image, or to encourage you.

5. Make the decision that you are going to walk in love in the

marketplace, in your local church, in your business, and your

home. Remember, your rule of measure is based on yourunderstanding of Gods call upon your life, understanding

of His love for you and others, and the unique grace on your

life. Decide today that you will build up yourself and those

around you with a sincere heart.

Are you living a fulfilled life? Often, we associatefulfilment with achieving goals and accomplishingtasks. Lots of people are waiting for things to happenbefore they can say they are fulfilled. Some are waiting to get

married, find the perfect job or stand in the fullness of their call

or ministry; the list seems endless.

For a believer however, fulfilment should come from the

knowledge that at every point in time, you are where God wants

you to be and doing exactly what He wants you to do. The Bible

says in Hebrews 12:1 that life is a race that God has set before us.

Running that race as it takes us through the different seasons

and phases should be our fulfilment. Simply put, fulfilment in life

comes from pursuing your God-given purpose.

Your purpose in life is the most significant thing about you. You

need to become settled on the truth that there is something

that you are created for. You are here on a divine assignment

and there is a blueprint for you. Every great person that stood

out in scripture had that sense of divine destiny. Having this

understanding means we wont look at the changing seasons

to determine whether or not we are fulfilled. Rather, we will be

fulfilled as we pursue purpose through those different seasons.The walk of purpose is a daily walk that involves a lot of things.

However, three things have helped me in my walk of purpose:

(i) Spending time in the Word,

(ii) Praying (especially in the Spirit), and

(iii) Serving in the Kingdom.

One of my favourite scriptures is Philippians 2:13 (Amp) (Not in

your own strength) for it is God who is all the while effectively

at work in you (energizing and creating in you the power and

desire) both to will and to work for His good pleasure and

satisfaction and delight.

Spending time in the Word and prayer allows God to work in ourlives. As you spend time with God, your plans and your passions

begin to line up with purpose. Do what it takes to stay in the

Word and prayer. Pray with your girlfriends; get your phones,

tablets and iPods filled with Gods word and get in as many

prayer meetings as you possibly can. Soon itll become a habit.

The third is using your gifts, time, energy and resources in

the service of the kingdom. Even if you dont know what your

purpose is, working at something in the kingdom will put you

on track. Do what your hands find to do and before long, youll

be doing what your heart loves to do and what your purpose

requires.

Once youre settled in that place of the word, prayer and service,theres a deep sense of fulfilment that comes; a peace and a

confidence that you have in God. Youll go through your day

knowing that you and God are partners building something

awesome that only time will reveal. Oh, what fulfilment that is!

BRIDGING THE

CAREER-MINISTRY

DO CAREER AND MINISTRY GO HAND IN HAND? I dare say

yes, they can! So many people think they have to make a

choice between having a career and a ministry, but it does

not have to be one or the other.

Ministry is about serving God and serving others through Gods

kingdom. Everyone is called to serve or to be a minister in one

capacity or another. Some will be on the frontlines while others

will not. So certainly, it is not only about standing behind a

pulpit. Ultimately, it is about discovering your peculiar place

and giftings and functioning there. We are reminded of 1

Peter 4:10 which says, As each one has received a gift, minister

it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Each of us has received a deposit from God to enable

us minister to others effectively. You therefore have a

responsibility to use those deposits effectively. God has

also given you natural abilities, and thats where your

career comes in. Proverbs 22:29 says, Seest thou a man

diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall

not stand before mean men. There are some people we may

not meet, doors that may not open to us except in thecontext of a career.

I would like to share a few points that I believe are useful

for bridging the sometimes considered divide between

career and ministry.

1. FIND OUT YOUR PLACE AND YOUR ASSIGNMENTThose that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish

in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old

age; they shall be fat and flourishing (Psalm 92:13-14).

There is a plan, purpose, place and timing that God has

for each one of us. When you take time to discover this,

you can be assured that youll flourish and prosper inthat very place. Frustration is inevitable when you are

out of your place. God wants to be involved in your choice

of career and place of work. Whatever He leads you to do

will always have a bearing on His kingdom, because that

is what He is all about. Dont get all choked up in a career

that takes you away from God. In my own life, I made a

decision to quit a job at a certain season in my life because

my time, focus and attention on God seemed to dwindle as

the months went by. I eventually became planted in another

organization, where I have since flourished and at the same

time, functioned effectively in Gods kingdom. Looking back, I

certainly have no regret.

2. USE YOUR CAPACITY TO THE FULLESTThere is more that you can do with the grace of God available to

you. It is multi-faceted and can be applied to multiple aspects of

life, including career and ministry. That grace will

keep you balanced when you tap into it by faith.

The popular chapter of Proverbs 31 reflects a multi-

faceted virtuous woman who excels on all fronts,

utilising her full capacity. Yes, this can definitely be you.

There is much more ability (treasure) within you than the

natural man is aware of. But we have this treasure in earthen

vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and notof us (2Corinthians 4:7). There will be times of stretching

required of you but these help you to develop your capacity.

If you must excel and continue to excel in multiple areas of

life you must keep putting in more effort by the grace of God.

If you dont use the abilities and the giftings you have, you may

end up losing them.

3. BELIEVE GOD FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE yet ye have not, because ye ask not (James 4:2).

I once approached my boss at work to give me flexibility in work

hours for a season. Despite the fact that it was not an arrangement

my organisation was used to, and human resources frowned at the

request, she went out of her way to ensure that I was granted my

request. Consequently, I was allowed to work 2 days from home

and was still entitled to all the full benefits of a full time employee.

As a Pastor, that period of time enabled me to give the much

needed time and attention to the ministry that was committed to

me and also my family. God will always make a way where there

is a willingness to go the extra mile. You dont have to give up one

aspect of your life or allow it to suffer unnecessarily for another.

There are periods of time that greater demands will be placed on

one aspect, in those situations you can believe God for whatever is

required to ensure nothing suffers!

4. REFOCUSOn a regular basis, take time to re-focus, re-energise, re-fresh,re-align and re-new. Re-assess your priorities from time to time.

What is priority today may not necessarily be priority tomorrow

and you need to know when to change focus. Moses started

out in ministry bearing the full responsibility of the children

of Israel but after some time, he needed to let go of some of

his responsibilities to make him more effective. You may be

responsible for an assignment now but you dont have to

execute it all by yourself. Take a step back from time to time

to reorganise your life. When you let go of certain non-

priorities, you can focus on new assignments that will help

you grow and achieve more.

Dont give up, cave in or quit. If Gods call upon your

life requires you to do so, you can do it. You can bridge

that divide between career and ministry.

Have a scripture or scriptures tostand on where your financialgoals are concerned. For examplein a system where the pressure of

living on credit is a culture, youcan have a scripture such as

Romans 13 vs 8 Owe no mananything but to love him: forhe that loveth hath fulfilled

the law as your goal.

Get a picture. Get a goodpicture of how your income

is dispersed. The best way to

do this is to write the details down.Tabulate your income versus yourexpenses and keep track of everytransaction.

Have a plan. Develop a planbased on your financial goals.For example if your goal is to liveaccording to Romans 13:8, thenstart by paying off any debts owed.To build financial stability you haveto stop the bleeding. Start with thedebt that has the largest interestand work your way to the least.

Have a budget. This is a practicalstep towards your financial goal. Abudget outlines your plan for yourincome. It helps you control yourfinances rather than have yourfinances control you. This can bea weekly, biweekly or a monthlybudget.

Finally, live within your means, stayconsistent and trust God to alwaysmeet your needs.

A WOMANS GUIDE TO TAKING CHARGE OF HER FINANCES

Breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer,fibroids, endometriosis, the list goes on. Arent youjust amazed at the number of customized diseasesthe devil has released to attack the woman? It is veryeasy to live a life of fear. It is easy to keep checkingthe statistics and your risk factors all the time. Thereis enough attacking the womans body for you to begripped with fear and uncertainty.

That is until you switch from the natural to thesupernatural. Dont stay plugged to what is happeningin the natural. Stay tuned to the supernatural realm

of God. Stay tuned to His Spirit. Dont allow fear togrip your heart. The devil will compromise your life ifhe can keep you fearful. You will live a life of nothing

but a shadow of what you can be.

Take care of the natural but dont do it in a fearfulmanner. When you do your monthly breast exams,speak life to your breasts. Say, I speak life to you;Jesus has paid for my body. When you are solicited

to receive cancer cells, you say No! Speak to yourovaries, your cervix and all your reproductive organs.Speak life to them. Encourage them to receive life.

Strive to eat healthy but dont live in condemnation or

fear. Declare over your food that your food ministerslife to you and not diseases. Declare over yourself

that you have the wisdom and the willingness to eatthe right type of food for your own unique body.

Try to work out. Try to live an active lifestyle. However,dont live in fear or condemnation if you are not asactive as you would like. Work towards it. When youdo, declare life over your workout sessions. Say,

Every part of me is active and alive. I receive life andnot death into my system.

Dont let the media, researches, and experts paralyzeyou with fear. No offense against the experts, theyare just doing their jobs. You just make sure you take

charge. You are a supernatural woman!

Many women shy away from business. The truthis that everybody is in one business or theother. Whether you are in the cooperate world,

government agencies etc, you are in business. Maybe you didntknow, those who set up the offices where you work set it up forbusiness reasons. We are all in business. A business is a personswork, occupation or trade.

OUR FINANCIAL POTENTIAL SIMPLY TALKS ABOUT ALL THEFINANCES WE CAN HAVE THAT WE DONT HAVE YET.

The question here is how can I walk in the fullness of Gods willfor my finances?

What are my capabilities and possibilities financially?

How does God see me as regards finances?

The above answers are found in Proverbs 31.

This scripture portrays what a woman is capable of doing. Yes,some women are walking in measures of this, but Ive observedthat the women who walk in such high finances and productivityare seen as super women who have done what men ought tobe doing. Thats not the way it ought to be according to Godsstandard.

Its not a big deal for women to have estates, build businessempires, own industries with thousands of staff, creatingemployment for tons of people. According to scriptures, it shouldbe the norm not a wonder. I just wonder where some peopleget the impression that its okay for women to engage in lowfinancial businesses.

That devil is a liar. I see a new generation of women rising upwho will conform to the will of God. Women who will rise up andbecome all they can be financially AGAINST ALL ODDS. Womenwho will not let traditions and cultures put the brakes on theircapabilities.

Its time for women to brace up and break every limitation andtimidity and the fear of man and accept the position where Godhas placed her. The world is incomplete if we do not TAKE OURPLACE in the financial arena. Some things will not get done ifwe hold our peace. Its not going to be easy. Its not going to bewithout a fight of faith, but guess what? Its a good fight for weare more than conquerors.

Practical Steps To Maximize Your Financial Destiny

Meditate on the word of God on financial prosperity. Psalm 1:2,Deuteronomy 8:18

Associate with people who are doing exploits in business.Proverbs 13: 20

Be willing to start small, but dont stay small. Proverbs 4:18,Job 8:7

Be strong and of a good courage. Courage is the qualityof spirit that enables you move in-spite of danger or fear.Deuteronomy 3:17

Be willing to take calculated risks. You need plenty of guts toexcel in business. STRETCH. Ecclesiastes 11:4

Get the required and necessary skills to optimize yourproductivity. Learn by the books. Proverbs 8:15-19

Finally, woman you are strong; you have great businesses insideof you. Rise up and take that step of faith. You are not calledto handle small finances, rather you are called to handle megafinances and bring forth inventions the world has never seenbefore. Every one is watching and waiting, heaven is counting onyou. Are you going to make heaven proud? I know you will.

For the women who are in the business world, I want you to knowthat God does not need you playing and thinking and talkingsmall. Dream bigger, set bigger goals and hit them. Take thatbusiness to a higher height.

Together, we will win.

Leading anentire nation must be an awesome task (some women get boggeddown leading three kids). Are you also aware, that Israel has amandatory military service requirement for women?

God never intended for women to sit on the back burner. Ilove the way the book of Judges takes the time to point out thedifferent hats that Deborah had to wear in her lifetime. She was aWIFE, a PROPHET, and the LEADER of one of the greatest nationsof her time. She actually led the nations army!

There were several situations in the Scriptures where God broughtvictory to the nation of Israel through a woman; a woman whowas bold enough to risk everything, including her life, to stepforward and do what needed to be done to deliver an entirenation. Women like Jael and Esther easily come to mind. Judges4:4-21, Esther 3-8.

Galatians 3:28 in the message translation says, in Christs familythere can be NO DIVISION into male and female. Quit thinking thatleadership roles are only meant for men. If God has called you tolead at work, your church or in your field, then take your mantle.Occupy your place and get to work. Generations are counting onyou!

God has thoroughly equipped us for every role we may be requiredto fill as women. God specially designed the woman to be able

to play several roles at the same time; this is even evident in theway her brain functions have been laid out. The supernaturalwoman has actually been given grace, and fully equipped by Godto multitask. Proverbs 31:19 in The Living Translation says, Herhands are busy spinning thread, her fingers twisting fiber. Yes you canbecause God says so!

For you to function maximally as a supernatural woman, youneed to have a mental picture of what the supernatural womanlooks like. Proverbs 31 takes time to lay out who this woman is;and I believe that if we meditate on the chapter, we will becomemore like her.

Contrary to popular opinion, there is actually a lot more to theProverbs 31 woman than being a great homemaker. This womanis rare, more precious than rubies, more valuable than silver orgold. The true worth of these stones can only be known after they

have gone through an intense process of heating and smelting.The supernatural woman does not cower away from challengesand she does not give in to the pressures of life.

She is also a serious businesswoman. She buys imported foodsbrought by ships from distant ports (Proverbs 31:14 LB). Shes likea trading ship that sails to faraway places and brings back exoticsurprises (Proverbs 31:14 MSG). She certainly would have herhands full with her imports. She invests in the real-estate marketand with her gains; she sets up a vineyard (which is no small task).She is fearless, extremely hard working, resourceful, creative, andan excellent planner.

With all these activities, she is never disorganized or frazzled. Sheis in tune with fashion trendsalways looking her best. This isthe supernatural woman. There is absolutely no way this womancould have done all she does in her own strength. You know the

drill, so get your super on with the Word of God today. Meditateon the scriptures in Proverbs 31 until the supernatural becomesyour natural. Woman, take your position IN THE FRONTLINEStoday.
