• This tool indents the first line of text.

• Click under the ruler’s hash marks

• This also works by dragging the tool itself with the left mouse button.

Hanging Indent

• This tool indents all lines after the first line of your text.

• Click under the ruler’s hash marks.

• This also works by dragging the tool with the left mouse button

Tab Stops

Set Tab Stops

• Set tab stops using the measurements on the ruler

• Set one tab stop or several tab stops

• Use the default tab stop (normally 0.5 inches, but user can change that.

Tab Alignment & Leaders

• Select the alignment (Left, Right, Center, Decimal, or Bar)

• Select the style of leader line you prefer.

• Leaders come before the text in the tab
