AYOWIE HUNT IN THE KANANGRABOYD.By Rex Gilroy

Copyright Rex Gilroy 2009.On Saturday 15th March Heather and I were visited by Genevieve and John Williams of Blacktown together withGenevieves nephew, Dano Kociuch, a visiting British Royal Air Force driver on leave in Australia for a visit to hisaunt and also to visit us, having followed our researches on the net for some time. He was particularly interested inmy Yowie researches, and had a great time discussing these matters with us.

Dano had only a couple of weeks of his leave left. He had just made a trip to Flinders Ranges to seeAboriginal rock art, as ancient rock art is another interest of his. Before he, Genevieve and John left to return toBlacktown, I arranged to take him on a Yowie Hunt on Friday 20th march. As things turned out we would havesome success.

On the big day we met Dano at Katoomba Railway Station and drove out to Kanangra Boyd NationalPark. We went via Jenolan Caves, where I gave his a quick look in the Grand Arch and Devil Coach House, beforecontinuing on our way.

I showed Dano a few major Uru megalithic structures discovered by Greg Foster and I on previoussearches, then, in an area where Greg and I on a previous search had already found and cast Yowie tracks wechanced to stumble upon a single large right foot impression. As the soil was dry and gravely and the impressionwas a few days old it wasnt the best of tracks but made our day nonetheless. Casting the footprint took all theplaster and water we had on us.

The footprint measured 52cm in length by 39cm width across the toes, 29cm across the mid-foot and 25cmacross the heel. It was impressed 3.5cm into the ground.

The footprint was on a north to south axis, and it was on this occasion as we waited for the cast to dry, thatwe discovered a recognisable Yowie trail, directly to the south of the footprint, extending down through gumforest into a gully and which appeared to be used quite regularly. I now intend to investigate this trail and the gullyit leads into, for it appears that these hominids emerge from there to hunt in the forest on the plateau above onwhich we were searching.

Dano really enjoyed our bush bashing. He plans to migrate out here in 2 years time, and when he does hewill become a valued member of the Gilroy field research team. I made a copy of the cast for him, which Genevieveand John will look after until his return.

Our find showed that a small group of these hominids is currently inhabiting the region. I intend to carryout further searches for more footprints in this area soon, in the hope of turning up more tracks for casting.

One thing was certain, Dano really enjoyed himself in the Australian scrub that day!

SEARCH IN THEWOLGANVALLEY.By Rex Gilroy.

Copyright Rex Gilroy 2009.On Monday 30th march, 2009 Heather and I met Dano Kociuch at Katoomba Railway Station for one more fieldtrip before he was due to return home to England. I had arranged to show him the Blackfellows Hands rockshelter paintings, which date back some 4,000 years BP [Before Present]. They include among hand stencils, the

stencil of a stone axe with handle, two boomerangs, and a small image of the only known Earth Mother Goddessimage [in charcoal] in eastern Australian Aboriginal rock art.

Dano was captivated by the main site, a long, high sandstone overhang. Many photos would be taken thisday. We then searched nearby cliff base scrub but there were no more stencils to be seen here. Returning to Heather

we had a bite to eat, then I took Dano up a dirt road, filming the scenery as we went, on a search for other handstencils known by me to exist along the roadside.

At one roadside rock shelter were a number of fading white hand stencils, and a search further on up intothe rock formations soon resulted in me relocating a lengthy rock shelter not visited by me for many years. Herewere a number of red ochre hand stencils.

Returning to the car after taking photos of the rock art, Heather then drove us into the nearby WolganValley, the location of former shale mining operations and an abandoned town [the houses had actually long agobeen removed elsewhere].

As we drove into the valley, I had Heather stop the car for some picture-taking. As I got out I found, lyingon the ground, a small eolith, a crude small Homo erectus-type chopping tool! Driving further on we all had a lookinside the old pub, which is now a museum, then on to a nearby Wolgan Riverside campground, which lies on theedge of dense mountainside scrub.

It is real Yowie country hereabouts and we have gathered stories from this valley over the years, whichinclude sightings on the fringe of the campground scrub.

Dano and I had fun searching the bushland here and upon walking back to the car in fading light I couldsee some large Yowie tracks in riverside sand from the high embankment we were standing on, I tried to get abetter look by climbing down a steep, slippery track. Naturally I slipped, landing in a heap, and scratching the lensof my video camera in the process. [It is currently being repaired]. The Yowie tracks turned out to be the multiplefeet impressions of modern human campers! Still, it had been a great day and a happy end to our all-too-shortoutings with our new friend and future fellow field worker, Dano. We said goodbye to him later that night after

driving him back to Blacktown, but look forward to his move to Australia in 2 years time. Meanwhile we will keepin touch.

Heather and I had not been to the Wolgan Valley for quite some time, and I now plan another Yowieinvestigation in this wilderness.

RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL TYPE SPECIMENSOF THE URU CIVILISATION FINDS OF 1965.

On Saturday 21st February I finally had an opportunity to show Greg Foster the first megalithic relics found by me

back in 1965, from which I identified an Australian Lost Civilisation and which once I was able to translate someof the rock script of this people, discovered that they called themselves the Uru.The location, here on the Upper Blue Mountains, remains top secret and Greg is the first person to be

shown these sites, due to the ever-present threat of vandalism.The type specimens of the civilisations identification consist of the already well publicised serpent altar

atop a tall sandstone rock mound, up which a now fallen away rock slab stairway passed a large sandstone rockbearing the serpentine face image of Nim the Sun-God on one side, and the human face profile of Ay-I, the Uruansupreme Being on the other.

New photos were taken of the site before we left. It is a strange fact that the area of this megalithic site hasproduced very few rock inscriptions, but on this occasion we came upon a set of clifftop letterings, later translatedto read: Nim, the Light of the Sun. Recite His name at this place.

At another altar nearby a second set of glyphs read: Place of the Sun, Na-Na declares.

I then took Greg on a drive with Heather to another remote relic hidden deep in rugged bushland.Relocating it was a problem for I had to relocate a particular gully top, one of three or four, not visited for someyears. However, as afternoon light began to fade we found it after some [for me exhausting] bush-bashing, and hereI was at last able to show Greg a most top-secret find in the form of an Uruan Sphinx!

The Sphinx depicts the Sun-God, Nim with a humanoid-serpentine face. At the rear of the large rock is atail ending in a snake head image. There are glyphs carved upon the head of the image, and also upon a lab at thebase of the face end, which faces the rising sun. A deteriorated square gathering place at the front of the image isalmost unrecognisable and a wall of small stones once enclosed the entire image. This relic is shown in our bookUru The Lost Civilisation of Australia.

I now intend to make a pilgrimage of sorts to all my earliest Uru discoveries. It will soon be 45 years sinceI made that momentous discovery on a cold, dull day in 1965, which was to lead me, eventually together withHeather, on a nationwide quest for more Uru megalithic works; a search in fact which has taken us as far as New

Zealand.How could I have imagined, that day when I first gazed upon the clifftop serpent altar, that in years tocome I would be uncovering extensive megalithic stone alignments, stone circles and other astronomical structures;[and together with Heather after we met in 1972] pyramids and large temples, massive stone heads and even lostmegalithic cities of this mysterious people?

The search for the Uru across Australia will be never-ending and we wonder what future major discoveriesof this people awaits us.

LARGE NIM SUN-GOD SNAKE IMAGE DISCOVERED

IN KANANGRABOYDWILDERNESS.By Rex Gilroy

During our Yowie evidence search on Friday 20th March with Dano Kociuch, I showed him some of the megalithicruins of the old Uru civilisation deep in the Kanangra Boyd National park wilderness.

These finds greatly interested Dano, who enjoyed all the bush-bashing involved. At one point I took him tosee the large granite image of the Uruan God of Wisdom and Knowledge, Kos, depicted always in the form of aKoala. It is curious fact that his functions parallel those of Thoth, the Baboon God of ancient Egypt. Thoth was theGod of Writing and Knowledge, and it would appear that he was a possible later Egyptian development of Uruaninfluence [as shown in our book Uru The Lost Civilisation of Australia].

Greg Foster and I have visited this particular site a number of times, so that it was with great surprise that

Dano pointed out something that Greg and I had both missed on all our previous visits here a large, open-mouthed head image with an eye, at one end of a lengthy, large pillar-like granite rock. In fact, Dano had made amajor archaeological find, for upon close inspection, I found that there was a faint outline of a body, all of which Iquickly chalked in, sketched and photographed.

The image measured 7.3m long by 1.2m deep at the head, 1.1m deep at mid body and 84cm deep towardsthe tail. The mouth gap was 1.4m long by 10cm wide. The massive rock was just slightly longer and wider than theNim snake image. The rock was 3.2m wide

I gave Dano a crash course in finding rock scripts, other images and megalithic formations before the daybegan to end. When he returns to live here, Dano will certainly be a valued member of the Gilroy research team. Igave him some tuition on how to search for these things back in England. It would not be surprising if he turns upa few things back in England after seeing what we are able to uncover here in Australia.

What a day we had, finding a large Yowie footprint [there were actually a couple of other sites containing

old very faded tracks in the vicinity of the footprint we cast], then investigating relics of a lost civilisation! But then,this is what people must expect when they go out with the Gilroys!

NEW FINDINGS ON THE HAWKESBURYRIVERMONSTER.By Rex Gilroy


Since my sighting, at 5.15pm on Monday 15th December 2008 from a high clifftop overlooking the Wisemans Ferrysector of the river, of the dark plesiosaur-like shape moving westwards along the south side close to the bank of theHawkesbury River, in which I was able to observe the shape for at least 15 minutes before it moved on out of sight,

I have determined to step up my investigations of this mystery which has absorbed me for the past 30 years ormore.More regular monster watching along the Hawkesbury River is planned, following another major series of

lucky incidents These began on Wednesday 25th March, 2009, when Heather and I together with Greg Foster,braved a 35 degree heat day so that Greg could show me some Aboriginal rock art as well as the carving of asuspected huge Yowie figure, complete with animal hide cloak. Afterwards we drove on to another site alreadyknown to me, but one which recently was located by Greg quite by accident, during which he uncovered rock artthat was unknown to me. This was in the form of 3,000 year old Celtic ogham inscriptions associated with threeplesiosaur-type marine reptile images.

These inscriptions and images are located in dense scrub at a point south of the Wisemans Ferry area of theHawkesbury River.

The first set uncovered included a 30.1cm long image of a plesiosaur-type creature. The ogham message

read: Dia, Habadah and Hadah by day in the cold, murky river depths we saw from the river bank the mother of monsters. Placedhere for people to look, by instruction of the Elders. Behold Motar.Another set of ogham glyphs nearby included a stick figure of a human and the creature among other

symbols and nearby again, a 2.15m long by 47cm wide plesiosaur-type creature, with ogham glyphs for Motar. Here

was the name for the creature given them by the Celts who had [on other evidence elsewhere on the river]established a colony in this area some 3,000 years ago.

The former Aborigines of the Hawkesbury River called these marine reptiles the Mirreeulla. These latestcarvings are not the only ones depicting these animals, but they show that the early tribespeople were well aware ofthese reptiles thousands of years ago.

FURTHER DISCOVERIES IN THE LOST CITY OF KANANGRA.By Rex Gilroy


On Sunday 22nd march 2009 Heather drove Greg Foster and I to a drop-off point in Kanangra Boyd National Parkfor yet another attempt to rediscover the peninsula of land that I climbed up to in darkness the night I was lost inKanangra Boyd wilderness, in July 1999.

Once again I failed to relocate the objective but Greg and I will launch another search the day after theApril meeting of Blue Mountains UFO Research Club [weather permitting]. This time Greg believes he had locatedthe spot on Google Earth. In any case, our searches have begun turning up some important new remains of theLost City area.

We are using a Nim temple site as our starting point in these searches, and beginning from here we pushed

off into some of the most dense scrub I have yet had to tackle, compass in hand at all times, keeping to an easterlycourse. We came across an old man-made pile of granite stones on a rock ledge, similar to another found somedistance to the north of here back in February, then on a granite shoal, a large V formation of granite stonespointing eastwards.

On Wednesday afternoon, 25thMarch2009, the Gilroys and Greg Foster,

investigated various points of theHawkesbury River between Wisemans

Ferry and Lower Portland. At one point,Greg captured this striking outline in theriver, of something large heading west. It

suggests a large creature with two sets of longpaddle-like flippers, large body, long neckand tail moving about a metre below the

The large creatures wake shows itmoving closer to shore here on its

journey west. It did not break surface.Rexs camera malfunctioned and no

photos registered on his digital camera,however, Greg was successful in taking

a number of digital shots of thecreature.

This particular formation was the fourth of its kind, one having been found on the February search, andtwo others back in 1999 about 3 kilometres north of here.

Before long we came across a square granite temple enclosure containing a flat altar stone within it, andalso a crude libation bowl. Just to its east we found a stylised-shaped serpent altar with a flat surface, measuring1.38m in length by 1m width and 41cm depth.

However, the real prize here was the discovery of a large granite image of Nim in serpent form, on a westto east axis, in the act of giving birth to the Cosmic Egg out of which the Universe and all life arose in Uruanreligious mythology. This monstrous image, the second large serpent Nim image found within two days in this

wilderness, because I had been out to Kanangra with our visitor from the UK, Dane Kociuch on Friday 20th marchduring which we found a 7.3m long granite image at an already known temple where I had overlooked the image onprevious visits!

This latest find, from the cosmic egg to rear end of the Nim serpent image measured 10.6m long by 52cmdeep at the head, 1.53m deep at mid-body and towards the tail. This image is so far the only one of its kind foundand we wondered what might yet lie hidden in the nearby dense bush.

*****I realised that we were exploring close to cliffs on our south side and thought this suggested I was on the

right promontory of land, but as it soon turned out I found we were once more unsuccessful in relocating ourobjective. However, we continued on, eventually reaching a section of open granite amid the foliage, opening outonto a clifftop view of the southern expanse of this wilderness.

Greg and I could see that we were probably the first Europeans to ever stand here. However, we had

stumbled upon an undoubted Uruan ceremonial site, for carved into rocks we found engravings. One was aninscription which later translation stated: Land of Nim. The Sun-Serpent. This is the place of worship.

Nearby we found an ancient star constellation marked out by small cupule engravings and glyphs stating:Place of watching the stars.

Carved deep into a rock was a 64cm long serpent image of Nim. Nearby was an almost Egyptian-likeupright serpent and to its right a Sun-disc.

These inscriptions were soon joined by something far older, in the forms of two fossil human feetimpressions. The right foot was little more than a worn-away hollow, whereas the left foot although a littledistorted, still showed toe outlines and was just under 30cm in length.

Yet to the north of here, hidden amid nearby thick shrubbery, I came across an extensive square mass ofgranite slabs and stone blocks forming the last remnants of a wall. The slabs were buried by bush but for twosections examined by me. Time prevented us from any further measuring or photography as we knew we had to still

battle our way back out of this wilderness to Heather. This we accomplished, finding altars and other structuresalong the way. Perhaps we will get back here some time. I would like to include the Serpent-Cosmic Egg image in afuture DVD documentary on the Uru civilisation, and as we have a good idea where these relics are, we should beable to find them again.

NEW UFOREPORTS FROM THE BLUE MOUNTAINS.by Rex Gilroy.


At our Blue Mountains UFO Research Clubs Skywatch, held after the latest club meeting on Saturday 21st March,some of the members braved the elements to spend time out on the Narrow Neck Plateau at our usual knoll, which

provides a good view of the Megalong Valley to the west, and Jamieson Valley on the south side, with the region ofBurragorang Valley beyond across Ruined Castle saddle where the underground base is situated.

On this night things were a bit dead, although I caught sight of two silvery lights in the Burragorang basearea some minutes apart.

Hopefully a club Skywatch out at McMahons Lookout, Wentworth Falls, will be more successful, and wehope to pick a good night for it.

Meanwhile, on Thursday night 9th April, I took our dog, Chloe, for a walk in the moonlight in the groundsof Katoomba Golf Club. At a high spot looking east about midnight, I spotted a bright golden light coming fromthe east at some speed, but this decreased to a slow pace as it passed over Jamieson Valley to the south. Here itappeared to stop as I watched. Then within a minute an approaching cloudbank covered the object.

Then on Good Friday night, not long before midnight, I took Chloe for another walk in the Golf Clubgrounds. While allowing her off the leash to run about, I watched the sky, which was relatively clear with a full

moon.After some time in the grounds, around 2.30am, I decided to go home. Just as I was about to call out to

Chloe, who was enjoying her run I spotted, high in the sky and certainly higher than 40,000 ft [the average heightfor airliners], I saw what must have been a mighty square shaped craft, a square of red glowing lights, moving in thesky to the north-east. As I watched it proceeded to move to a point almost above me over a period of about 5minutes before once again stopping. Then, after about a minute or two, it proceeded to slowly [as before] move offwestward. I am certain that what I saw was no Earth aircraft.

From where I stood, I thought the massive craft had to be town-sized. It then began glowing gold aroundthe outline of the square, still glowing red within. It continued moving slowly, so that it took some 15 minutes tomove over the horizon out of sight.

The golf course is a good place for Skywatches and in future I shall take my binoculars with me whenwalking Chloe!

THE MYSTERIOUS GOINGS-ON OUT ON KINGSTABLELAND ROAD,WENTWORTHFALLS.

In recent times the digital photos taken by me of two mysterious humanoid ETs on the Kings Tableland Road nearMcMahons Lookout have caused quite a stir in UFO circles. However, they are not the only mystery to be foundout there on that tableland, for it has always been a region of UFO activity, as our book Blue Mountains Triangle

has shown.Campers and others out at the Lookout overnight have reported seeing UFOs flying over the Lookoutfrom the Burragorang Valley which the Lookout faces. These craft, usually saucer-shaped and glowing often yellowor yellowish-white, have flown close enough to light up the forests, terrifying those present.

Some years ago a UFO crash was reported to have occurred in the long gully on the eastern side of thetableland towards the lookout end, and thereafter over the past few years, people have been witness to some eerieexperiences.

The authorities hushed up the UFO crash as usual, and there has been no comment concerning a saucernest lying out there in dense scrub. In fact it is not the first time that a saucer nest has been found, when campersand hikers have chanced to go exploring in the scrub and deep gullies hereabouts.

Back in 1978, the late Don Boyd obtained an account which he intended following up for his then PsychicAustralian magazine. Together we carried out a night investigation with two other mates of his, in a particular area,

where people had earlier reported seeing a bright silver-glowing craft descend into a gully. Soon afterwards they sawseveral dark figures emerging from the scrub. At this point the people left the area in haste.On the night of our search we did not get very far into that dense terrain, so settled for a Skywatch on a

clifftop overlooking Jamieson Valley near the D.O.T. towers, which proved to be more profitable as we spottedsome interesting glowing objects, emerging from Burragorang Valley in the distance.

On a recent search out on the road at McMahons Lookout, I chanced to explore scrubland on the easternside of the road and found to my surprise, embedded deeply into hard ground and partly covered by leaf litter, theimage of a small human-like figure. The arms and legs looked incomplete, while the head on a long, thin neckappeared somewhat pointed at first inspection. I had to leave due to approaching darkness [Heather was waiting inthe car for me], but I plan to return there with plaster to see if I can cast the impression which had been wellpreserved by a thick layer of leaf litter, so with luck it may still be in a state suitable for casting. I plan to cast thebody impression in sections so as to carry it out and be able to reassemble it for show in the future. If I am

successful it will join the Maryborough, Queensland ET mudhead as an eerie piece of evidence suggesting contactswith our Earth by advanced beings from elsewhere in our Universe.-0-

INVISIBLE UNIVERSEINVISIBLE ETS AND THEIR LANDINGS.ATHEORY.

[The following theory was written down by me, when my mind suddenly switched off in the course of the UFO

Research NSW meeting on Saturday 4th

April, 2009. These psychic experiences always provide me with newtheories which I am told to write down The following material is therefore still in the rough state, but will giveothers an idea as to how I am often supplied with theories on a number of subjects besides UFOlogy].

In the wake of the Gilroys recent McMahons Lookout experience with invisible ETs caught on digital camera, whatfollows is a theory which might help to explain this eerie experience.

I have already experienced being followed by an invisible being out on the dirt road to Hanging Rock,outside Blackheath as reported in previous Temple of Nim newsletters. It is also interesting that both here, and inthe McMahons Lookout area UFO crashes and apparent landings have been reported in the past, and these areasare also known in local Aboriginal traditions as places where Sky People have landed long ago, inhabiting a spiritworld unseen by us [but perhaps viewable to digital photography?].

Apparent invisible UFOs have landed, and when they have flown away they have left behind them saucer

nests.These beings and their flying craft are on another dimension in time and space and otherwise while

invisible to us, might be captured on digital cameras in the same manner that we are now able to photograph lightenergy orbs.

My theory holds that these beings have evolved on another time/space dimension; that is another Universeparallel with that of our own.

*****There are people who have claimed to have been abducted by ETs into landed spacecraft in areas where

other people would have seen them and the craft, but actually saw nothing!In other worlds the abductees were taken into another parallel dimension invisible to us, and which is part

of a parallel Universe.Yet if this is so then how was this parallel Universe formed? I have a theory which places this event back at

the time of the latest Big Bang. This theory holds that at the very millisecond of the mighty explosion, there wasa jolt which caused a split in time in which the matter that was to form our Universe was divided into two groupsthat independent of one-another, developed on different time scales. Thus this other Universe would be invisible toour world. This could explain how beings on this other dimension, and their craft, could land here unseen due tothem being on another time dimension. Thus ETs could abduct Earthlings one way or anther in their invisible state,and their abductees could only see their abductors at this time.

Once released from the craft they would once more be back in their own time so would see nothing.In another situation our astronomers cannot see this other Universe through their telescopes of detect it

with any of their other, highly technical equipment. Yet those ETs can see our planet/Universe. Surely this is due totheir being on another, faster dimension, in that at the moment of the Big Bang jolt, that Universe had amillisecond start ahead of our own Universe, and therefore they could be eons ahead of us in technologicaladvances.

Their world, and themselves, have evolved much further ahead of us in that their development was fastersomewhat compared to our own evolution.

*****Evolution on the particular planet where the said beings come from is probably along similar lines to ours,

with the evolving of life from primitive micro-organisms leading to various other animal forms, among which wereprimitive creatures along the lines of our primates, thence evolving into their version of hominids, or astro-hominids if you like.

These beings would probably have evolved throughs stone tool and fire-making to eventually riseto their advanced state of evolution and super-space technology.

On this other parallel Universe, there would be myriads of stars and planets like our own, among which areplanets capable of supporting life, including intelligent life.

What would these ETs look like? If their evolution is somewhat ahead of us, they should resemble

ourselves, but perhaps with larger heads housing larger brains [?].On other parallel planets intelligent life forms could have evolved as intelligent energy in the form of

light energy orbs, which come from the natural electro-magnetic energy found in the ground of the said planet. [Wemay already be host to such a locally evolved life form!]This proposed parallel Universe manifests itself in other aspects ie in the ability of very young children to seeelementals, and various other beings not visible to other people.

Digital photography may capture some of these entities, living on that other parallel world.People have claimed to have been abducted by invisible intelligences. These intelligences may be in the

forms of light energy orbs, as I have found, having been followed by dozens of them one night at Katoomba Falls!If our future space travellers are to eventually explore outer space with the aid of time window

technology [when it becomes available], travel between these worlds will take minutes of Earth time to and fromworlds.

*****If the Big Bang saw the creation of a parallel Universe that is ahead of us in evolution, what of yet a

second parallel Universe which might have gone backwards in time by perhaps an equal distance to the other one?If such a Universe exists it would perhaps explain peoples claims of having been abducted to the past by ETs [orEarthlings?] from our future by the same invisible means as before. Here is a field for further investigationconcerning impossible possibilities, but possibilities nonetheless!
