When we first started thisnewspaper in 1993, wenever thought that we

would be part of a great revival. Our goal was to show the super-natural that was being hidden by“religious” people. This newspa-per was based on the supernatu-ral experience of the Pastor of theBrownsville Revival and so, twoyears before that event happened,we were the first to write JohnKilpatrick’s supernatural testi-mony, because I had a desire tosee angels and hear God’s voice. When you read a supernaturaltestimony, you quietly under-stand that you also can walkthrough that same door. Onceyou have experienced the super-natural of God, then you cannotgo back, for you develop a never-ending, unceasing desire andhunger to experience the super-natural. I, myself, came to Pentecostthe hard way with my Baptism inthe Holy Spirit coming indirectlythrough the Roman CatholicChurch. It is a fact that manypeople in the Pentecost move-ment who I have watched overthe years, have their roots in theRoman Church while those whoare members of the third genera-tion of Pentecostals are usuallythe ones who are trying to stopthe move of God. Although mygood friend Bill Johnson inRedding, California comes froma third generation of Pentecostals,he acknowledges that when re-vival happens it “ comes from afatherless generation.” In BillJohnson’s case, however, wehave seen the supernatural in hischurch in Redding - the super-natural power of God. But I wantto let you know about the timewhen I was an early believer andspoke in tongues for the first time. It was in the Fall of 1977 that Ireceived the Baptism in the HolyGhost. My Pentecost cleaned upmy life for I was a young, singleman, and although I was livingas a Christian, I had problemswith the flesh. But God was aftermy purity and He had separatedme for a greater work that I couldever have imagined. It was Godwho saved me from myself! Butin the latter part of 1977, I was at

the lowest stage of my young life.My father had just died and I waswounded from the break up of anengagement with the woman thatI thought I would marry. I wasdevastated! I felt I couldn’t copewith life. But God was about to

deal with the problems of myflesh as a single man in a veryreal way. And I learned that whenGod has a destiny in your life, youwill either get it right, or He willmove in to clean your house. Godwas about to deal with me be-cause he wanted me Holy. So it was about this time, thatI began to feel the call of God inmy life. In fact, God gave me avery specific word: “He sent HisWord and healed them.” andthat’s when I knew that God wasactually going to send His Wordinto my life and heal me. So Istarted attending a Bible study ata local Charismatic fellowshipand began to ask the people therewhat Scripture they would use towitness for the Baptism in theHoly Ghost. Although most ofthese people spoke in tongues, their knowlege of the word wasvery poor and they couldn’t re-late to how they received theHoly Spirit, indeed, had no realknowledge on the subject. So, for the next three months, Ipoured myself into scripture tostudy the subject, just as CharlesParham had done 70 years before,in 1906, in Topeka, Kansas. Isketched out an outline for a tracton the Baptism of the Holy Ghostand in that little tract, I wrote thatthe Baptism in the Spirit is ac-companied by the speaking intongues and it was absolutelyimportant for the reader to under-stand that Jesus himself neverBaptized anyone in water. Thewater had to be separated from

the speaking in tongues. So I usedthe Gospel of Luke and the Bookof Acts as the physical under-

standing of the experience be-cause many people do not knowthat these two books of Scriptureare actually one book. And Lukewas absolutely important to thistract because he described the ex-perience in the third person andgave the physical description ofwhat was happening. In short, hewas writing the experience as hesaw the event actually happening. In Scripture it was described tohim by the people who were thereto witness the event. In Acts 2,Acts 10 and Acts 19, you see be-lievers receiving the Baptism andthe evidence of the tonges in theexperience. My friends, the Bap-tism in the Holy Ghost is morethan an emotional experience. Ithas to be taught in a logical waybefore the emotion of the experi-ence is added. The thrill of Pen-tecost is know that there is a su-pernatural. But one large Pente-costal organization that I knowof, only has 10 percent of itspeople in that Baptism in theHoly Ghost. I have been to thesechurches and watched people tryto minister the Baptism in theHoly Ghost with devastating re-sults. It was one big ball of con-fusion with no understanding. These churches have failed toplan for our present time, andnow their foundational beliefs are

falling apart because the initialbeliefs that established themhas been substituted by a gos-pel that doesn’t speak of thesupernatural as it once did. Charismatics went abso-lutely crazy when the experi-ence happened to them asCatholics, Episcopalians, Pres-byterians and Baptists in theearly part of this century. Butwhen they faced persecutionand actual removal from thesedenominations and churches, they eventually came togehterin the Faith MovementChurches. But back to my little tract: Iremember the day that I wentto the printer to pick up the firsttract on ‘The Baptism In TheHoly Ghost’. At the time, I wasfellowshipping at Word of LifeFellowship on Dauphin IslandParkway, so I showed my littlepamphlet to Pastor Tim Dodge. He immediately took me downa hallway to meet a young manwho was praying to God to re-ceive the Baptism in the HolyGhost. As I read from the tractand taught this young Baptistman about the Holy Ghost, thePastor and I layed hands uponhim and he immediately spokein the unknown tongue.Hallelelujah! We are now in the process ofhaving that intiital work re-printed because we feel that itis absolutely important for thebody of Christ to understand.Brownsville was a supernatu-ral revival, but the greatest Re-vival is ahead of us. If youdon’t understand the supernatu-ral, then you won’t come to theplace of understanding the nextmove of God. The next moveof God will involve the super-natural and will once againreach a ‘fatherless generation’;it will reach our children whohave been ‘turned off’ by reli-gion and want to see a real God.1Corinthians.13:1-13.

MARSHFIELD, MISSOURI -- It happenedso quickly that it caught

everyone by surprise. At 47 yearsold, Roger Hicks died in a suddenaccident. An aluminium pole hewas working on touched a powerline on August 3rd of this year andhe died instantly with no chanceof being revived. Pastor Hicks was a simple Bap-tist Minister who went against allodds and birthed his church intoPentecost. On March 1, 1998, abusiness meeting was held to de-cide the future of the church andthe fate of Pastor Roger Hicks. Itwas a time when the power of Godtouched those who wanted it anddrove away those who didn’t wantit. So when the congregation votedon the fate of the Pastor, 174 votedfor him and 123 voted against him. That vote launched a full-scalePentecostal Revival in a SouthernBaptist Church close to Spring-field, Missouri. The local BaptistAssociation in town expelled thechurch from its Association, butthe Southern Baptist Conventionnever did. The Convention hadbeen through these disputes beforeand had learned to let the peopleset the direction of the church; butfrom that moment on, the powerof God flowed in that Church. When The Remnant was at thechurch in 1999, we witnessed thepower of God. The most uniquething about the entire church wasthe powerful move of intercessoryprayer among the teenagers. And,although the members are nolonger teenagers today, the con-crete foundation for revival wasbuilt in their prayer meetings. Soit happened that in the year 1998,Evangelist Wayne Neal came tothe church to preach revival; hewas welcomed because he was anexperienced Assembly of Godevangelist that had been toucheddeeply by the Brownsville Re-vival. At the same time, the powerof God was falling on a small in-dependent work in Smithton, Mis-souri. Missouri was being touchedby the Angel of Revivval! There was a creative part of thechurch that sought to reach new

names on the sides like ‘the UnitedMethodist Church’, ‘ South Bap-tist Church’ and ‘Assembly ofGod’. The Calvary Baptist Church(now Four Rivers Church) duringthese early days began to be theneutral ground of the Holy Ghostwith religion removed. When youlooked at the license plates, youwould see Arkansas, Oklahoma,Texas, and many other stateswhere word had spread about thefire at the Baptist Church in Mis-souri. This wasn’t strange fire, it wasREAL fire. Wayne Neal said, “Icould prepare a sermon to preachhere and never get to it for fivedays because of the awesome roil-ing presence of God in thisbulding”. That’s what broughtpeople from all over the area. Af-ter service, I remember the cara-

appoint them. The Almighty al-lowed the move to happen at thisBaptist Church because he saw aman that had a greater vision thanthe entire Baptist denomination.Roger was going to do what Godasked him to do and wasn’t goingto listen to church doctrine anddogma on this matter. His experi-ence outgrew the tenets of the Bap-tist Church. Healings, deliveranceand salvation flowed off the altarsevery night. You didn’t need analtar call at this church becausethose who came could hear thevoice of God in the conviction ofhis Almight presence. They gotright because they felt the need tochange. Repent means to go theother way. This Pastor was goingthe other way and visitors whowere in sin found themselves go-ing that way too.

His death was a tragic blow tothose who went through thoseearly dayswith him. He had a vi-sion as big as his heart. He wantedwhat was best for his people andnever counted the cost. He wentas deep as a Baptist Pastor couldgo in his new expression. It’s noteasy to go somewhere if you’venever been there, but Roger knewthe way and that’s the way he tookhis people. The funeral date was set on Fri-day, August 6, 2004, and a therewas a tremendous show of sup-port from the many people whohad arrived at the church early.Gayle Cameron, a member of thechurch said, “I got there at 9 a.m.and found the doors had to beopened at 8:30 a.m. Thesancturary had filled in 5 minutes- even though it’s not that large asancturary. I was directed to thefellowship hall where the over-flow was sent, and the overflowwas now reaching capacity. Therewas a big screen there, but thesound was bad and the cameraview was even worse. Youcouldn’t tell who was speakingbecause they all looked like tinyblurbs on the huge screen. Every man is unique in theirown walk and Roger was memo-rable for his walk with the Lord.Roger’s work was not of a kindthat left a great building behindas a monument to his memory; hiswork was an eternal work.Roger’s memory is poured intoother people and lives throughthem. There will be other Rogersin the Southern Baptist Conven-tion, but he will serve as a rolemodel for them. While the menand women of the Black BaptistChurches have accepted Pente-cost, the future will see morepeople come forward in that de-nomination to plant the seed ofdesire for the Supernatural.Roger, if we could see you now,we would want for no more foryour new vision has revealed notjust God’s presence, but His won-derful face. We are sad that youare gone, but we rejoice for yourtransition to Glory. We love youand admire you for your courage, and now we say good-bye to atrue friend of God the Almighty.

Roger Hicks 1957 to 2004Pastor Roger and Sarah Hicks of the Four Rivers Chruch (Formerly Calvary Baptist Church) When The Rem-

nant was at the church in 1999 we saw the power of God. The most unique thing about the entire church was thepowerful move of intercessory prayer among the teenagers. Many of those people are no longer teenagers today butthe concrete foundation for revival was built in their prayer meetings. God added to it. You see one thingthat the early Charismatic Move-ment didn’t have was the deeperpresence of God that was laterbeing experienced in Toronto andBrownsville. God was doing anew thing and the excitement atthe little Baptist Church was blow-ing the doors off Christianity inAmerica. When you visited the church inthe early days, you knew God wasin the house and the excitementwas electric from service to ser-vice. God had given a powerfulmeasure of the Spirit to a groupof people who knew nothingabout it. And it’s in this way, thatmost of the new moves of Godcome to those who are seeking. This church was for real and inthe early days, the power flowedin a cataclysmic way. Walking

FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA;During the spring of thisyear, this author saw Rev-

erend John Kilpatrick preach atthe Famly Ministry center inFairhope, Alabama. In his mes-sage, he spoke about ‘change’and about the‘extraordinary’......and this is, inpart, what he said: In Hebrews 10:9, “Then hesaid, Behold, I have come to doyour will O God. He taketh awaythe first, that he may establish

rejoicing. She testified that shehad been unable to walk well forseveral years and this was the firsttime she was able to walk betterafter being prayed for by him. Below is a prophesy by RuthWard Heflin that was brought tothis author’s place of employmentby a Spirit Filled friend who at-tends Life Church in Mobile, Ala-bama. She told me that she feltthat God was going to bring Re-vival to Alabama soon. My friendmade copies for staff members inthe State office building to put ontheir bulletin boards. Prophesy to Alabama by RuthWard Heflin, November 1996,Missionary to Israel, Ashland,Virginia. “Come and go with Meto Alabama. For I shall make thestate a beautiful way. see Alabama set men free.”

By Diana Millasovich drastically! The Word for thechurch today is‘change’ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . d ras t i c‘changes’ are coming.Luke 5:36 Then He spoke a par-able to them, “No one puts a piecefrom a new garment on an oldone; otherwise the new makes atear and also the piece that wastaken out of the new does notmatch the old. And no one puts

new wine into old wineskins, orelse the new wine will burst thewineskins and be spilled and thewineskins will be ruined. But newwine must be put into new wine-skins and both are preserved. Andno one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new, for hesays.....the old is better!” Brother Kilpatrick went on tosay that “it was a revelation thatJesus turning water into winemeans that Jesus wanted to do anew thing!” He told theBrownsvillle visitors who werethere to “Let go from holdingonto the past wine and beware oflooking back and becoming apetrified salt pillar when new

wine can beswished around in your mouthsand can taste so good! Let go ofthe old for there is change com-ing your way!” He also said that‘God will never harm you butGod will hurt you by takingsomething away from you for awhile that may hurt you and causeyou pain, however, in the end abetter thing comes forth from it.”! Kings 17: 1-4&7: “And Elijahthe Tishbite, who was of the in-

habitants of Gilead said to Ahab,As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shallnot be dew nor rain these yearsexcept at my word. Then theWord of the Lord came to him, saying get away from here andturn eastward and hide by theBrook Cherith which flows intothe Jordan and it will be that youshall drink from the brook and Ihave commanded the ravens tofeed thee there. And it happenedafter a while that the brook driedup because there had been no rainin the land.” “This,” Kilpatrickstated shows “that God will takeaway something to give yousomething better. The birds that

were feeding Elijah andthe brook of water that dried uphurt him, but it brought him to abetter place to hear the Word ofthe Lord. The brook dries up first- then God speaks to you. “God has given the word “Extraor-dinary” to Brother Kilpatrick. Itmeans ‘beyond the normal, com-mon measure, out of the ordi-nary’. Isiah 43:18: Behold, I willdo a new thing. Now it shallspring forth; Shall you not knowit? I will even make a road in thewilderness. And rivers in the

desert.” Kilpatrick reiterated that“ the Lord would make a way inthe wilderness where there was noway! It would NOW spring forth,so do not consider the things ofold!” Acts 19:11-12 Now Godworked unusual miracles by thehands of Paul so that even hand-kerchiefs or aprons were broughtfrom his body to the sick and thediseases left them and the evil spir-its went out of them. After BrotherKilpatrick preached his sermon atthe Family Ministries Center, therewas a time of prayer. An elderlywoman who had been sick witharthritis for years, was prayed overby Kilpatrick, and she began walk-ing back and forth with tears of

HURLEY, MISSISSIPPI: It was a greatday at the House of

Praise in Hurley, Misissippiwhere Pastor WilliamHandcock is the Pastor-Wor-ship leader. This church has aRevival River Spirit thatblesses those who attend it.Glory remains around thischurch because of the awe-some music sung and playedhere - music that is written byPastor Handcock. You see,Pastor William used to be theWorship leader in the church, but when the last pastor left,he was asked to take over thechurch as its Pastor. On August 8th, he spoke asure word out ofDeuteronomy to his congre-gation. His word was about

MOBILE ALABAMA;Early in the days of myministry, there were

many of us who had a call on our

and his family because our familieswere close. At the time when we firststarted this newspaper, we were led totake a man in our church who was bat-tling cancer to a Benny Hinn Crusadein New Orleans. We were sitting in thewheelchair section when we sawDanny walking toward the altar, carry-ing his newborn grandson in his arms. The doctors had told his father, Cliff

Buker, that the child he wouldnever do many of the normalthings that a child could do, andit was this prognosis that stirredDanny to take the young babyto the Benny Hinn meeting. Itwas there that the child wastouched by the power of God,

and the Lord God Almighty broughtthis child a long way because of the

prayers of this man of God, his grand-father, Danny Buker. He first came to the Oak ParkChurch of God to physically do harmto the preacher because he thoughthis wife was going crazy; she wasspeaking in tongues! As he stoodbefore the man of God to do harm tohim, the power of God fell on Dannyand he was saved and filled with theHoly Spirit. And this was the manthat Pastor Sam Luke, Jr. asked tobecome the prayer minister of thechurch. Danny came from wheremany of us came from. We all didn’thave a heritage of Pentecost, butwhen we received it , we began to bechanged and to dream because of theSupernatural that we had all experi-enced.

lives when we were at theOak Park Church of God.Pastor Sam Luke, Jr. used tolet those who had a call topreach, speak before the mainservice. At the time, there wasGlenn Barnhill, DannyBuker, Ruben Ganor andJerrell Miller. Each personhad their turn to preach on arotating basis. This year, on August 3rd,Danny Buker died at a localhospital under extenuatingcircumstances. Danny was aman after God’s own heart; the oneenduring quality of this man wasto seek the face of God. Danny di-rected the Ministry of Prayer at theOak Park Church of God duringthe time of Dr. Sam Luke’s pastor-ate, and God moved throughDanny time after time when hespoke the word of prayer over des-perate situations. Truly, God put hispurpose in this man’s heart. When we first started our visitationprogram at the Oak Park Churchof God, Danny was there leadingour group in prayer. During timeswhen there was a funeral at thechurch and at times when the Pas-tor left the church, Danny wouldgo to the pulpit to preach on theword of God. We watched over him

Danny was a dreamer who neverstopped dreaming. He and Sylvialived in Springfield, Illinois wherethey lost a child early in their mar-riage, and at Oak Park High School,I had the pirviledge of teachingDAnny and Sylvia’s children. Godhas used this family to bless our fam-ily on so many occasions: for in-stance, when we started the witnessmagazine at Oak Park Church ofGod, it was Danny Buker who en-couraged us; and it was his prayergroup at the church who called forththe Glory of God on Sunday nightand during the week. AUCKLAND, NEWZEALAND -- We, asan independent orga-

The sustained unrelentless at-tack on Pastor T. B. Joshua andlately on Pastor ChrisOyakhilome by Pastor ChrisOkotie because of Pastor ChrisOyakhilome’s association withPastor T. B. Joshua has led to athorough investigation by ourorganization of Pastor T. B.

tention to the recent unwar-ranted attack and allegationsagainst Pastor T. B. Joshua of

People Magazine and lately, yourmagazine Charisma and Chris-tian Life.

In addition to the role and ob-jective of our organization asstipulated above, we also moni-tor the lifestyle of the head of thevarious Church organisations,General Overseers and men ofGod.

Joshua, Pastor Chris Oyakhilomeand the accuser, Pastor ChrisOkotie. The result of our inves-tigations, findings and assess-ments is herewith attached. In addition to our investiga-tion, our organization made a re-quest to Lagos State Governmentand the Federal Government ofNigeria to investigate the allega-

tions made against Pastor T. B.Joshua of the Synagogue Churchof all Nations by Rev. ChrisOkatie and the Pentecostal fel-lowship of Nigeria.

At our request, both the LagosState and Federal Government ofNigeria carried out thorough andextensive investigation of all the

allegations through the use ofState investigative network. Re-sult of the Government investi-gation revealed that there was nosubstance in the Pastor ChrisOkotie’s and the Pentecostal fel-lowship allegations against Pas-tor T. B. Joshua as a result ofwhich the Government pro-nounced verdict of innocence.Thereafter, the Lagos State Gov-ernment and Federal Govern-ment authorities invited Pastor T.B. Joshua and his accuser ChrisOkotie to a meeting. Where thegovernment issued warnings toPastor Okotie and his Pentecos-tal Fellowship Group to desistfrom their falsehood, unfounded, mischievous and malicious at-tack laden with blatant liesagainst Pastor T. B. Joshua andOyakhilome. Religious Monitorhas been monitoring the Syna-gogue Church of All Nationssince 1993 when the organiza-tion came to Nigeria prominenceup-to-date, the monitoring is stillprogressing and so far, we havefound nothing unusual orunbiblical in the practice, doc-trine, teaching and mode of wor-ship of the Synagogue Church ofAll Nations. The life of the gen-eral overseer and founder of theChurch (Pastor T. B. Joshua) isworthy of emulation. Our con-clusion and verdict is that PastorT. B. Joshua received his anoint-ing through absolute righteous-ness and holliness, which manyof Nigeria’s Pentecostal ChurchPastors lack.

Majority of today’s Pentecos-tal Church Pastors in Nigeria arePastors of fortune seekers, mor-ally bankrupt people, adulterers, mischievous, deceitful people asa result of which the Churchesare personal estates and proper-ties of the founder, general over-seer and his immediate family. For example, Pastor Chris Okotiehas been deserted by his wifewho has alleged wide spreadadultery with members of thecongregation by Pastor Okotie. The wife is now filing for di-vorce. Similarly, PastorOritsajefor has divorced his firstwife and now married to the wifeof a member of the congregation.Such is the unholy practice ofthese Pastors. This situation hasmade it impossible for most ofthe new generation Nigerian

Pentecostal Churches to receivetrue anointing. A few amongthem, such as; RedeemedChristian Church of God(RCCG), Living Faith (a.k.aWinners Chapel), Mountain ofFire and Miracle Ministries,Deeper Life Ministries, Loveworld Assemblies (a.k.a Christembassy) and few others can besaid to meet the standard ex-pected in the ministry of ourLord Jesus Christ.

Pastor T. B. Joshua has beenfound to be very upright andrighteous and has received thetrue anointing of the HolySpirit. The arrival of the trueHoly Spirit anointed Pastor intothe Nigerian Christian Minis-tries has been kicking Satan leftand right, and the kingdom ofSatan has been badly damaged.

The people fighting and ac-cusing Pastor T. B. Joshua arein this category. They are thefalse and fortune seeker Pas-tors. Such as Chris Okotie andsome of his fellow Pentecostalfellowship of Nigeria members. They are not actually fightingPastor T. B. Joshua, they arefighting the happenings of holyspiritual hearings at the Syna-gogue. They are fighting themiracles of God happening atthe Synagogue. The hearingsand miracles taken place at theSynagogue can only be by theanointing of the Holy Spirit ofGod. This has challenged thekingdom of Satan in Nigeriaand has threatened their sur-vival and existence. The fellowPastors threatened are the onefighting to protect their interestand survival. Unfortunately, itis too late for them.

The influx of foreign mis-sionaries, President of Nationsand dignitaries from all over theworld to the Synagogue is as aresult of this true anointing. Thehearings and miracles accord-ing to Pastor T. B. Joshua is notthe work of his own hand buthis father THE LORD JESUSCHRIST. The miracles andhearings are received free andall the thousands of variousmissionaries from all over theworld on pilgrimage to Syna-gogue are accommodated freewith feeding as no one pays foranything at the Synagogue. Noendowment fund, no develop-ment fund, no special contribu-tion and no extortion is allowedat the Synagogue as practisedby other Pentecostal Churchesthrough which the founders andgeneral overseers enrich them-selves.

Finally, we recommend thatyour magazine arrange a visitto the Synagogue on an inves-tigative mission and an inter-view with Pastor T. B. Joshua. We at religious monitor believethat Pastor T. B. Joshua is thegift of God to Nigeria, mankindand the whole world. Despitethe tribulation similar to whatour Lord Jesus suffered, thePastor and the Church are wax-ing stronger and stronger.

CHARLOTTE, NORTHCAROLINA: I rememberthe first time I came to the

“Watch of the Lord”. It was arainy night and the church waslocated in a group of warehouseslocated off Interstate 77. My fas-cination with this man of Godbegan with the book he had writ-ten. As soon as I started reading“Watch of The Lord”, the Gloryof God began to be imparted tome. I knew I had to get to knowthis man of God and ever sincemy meeting him, his ministry hasbeen a high water mark in mylife and the wife’s life. My wife, Vivian and I werescheduled to go to a conferenceon September 13, 2001. It wasthe week of 9/11 and an oldfriend, Chris Harvey, an Evan-gelist from Australia, was min-istering at ‘The Watch’. TheGlory of God was there as weheard Mahesh speak about theevents of 9/11 and we witnessedtwo people come forward whowere near the Twin Tower build-ings on the day of the great trag-edy. My wife Vivian and I weretouched so deeply by Maheshthat after the meetings were over,

we drove over to the old PTL(Praise the Lord) buildings andclaimed the land for Mahesh andhis wife Bonnie for we knew Godwas going to use them greatly inTelevision Ministry. But at the en-trance to the old PTL building our

It was a wonderful mannamed ‘Art’ who helped us and wewere soon able to go home with abrand new Dodge Caravan fromthe Dodge dealership. God was sogood to us. At a later time, we were onceagain among friends at All NationsChurch and the speakers for thatnight were Bobby Conner, BillJohnson, and Bonnie and MaheshChavda. But the night that Maheshspoke was an awesome night.Mahesh told us he very seldomever shares the message that hewould give this night and indeed, this testimony has never been writ-ten up in any of his books. We werehonored to hear it and we presentit to you as he spoke it at the Pro-phetic Conference in Charlotte,North Carolina. Mahesh Chavda told his audi-ence that it is essential that you bein the right place during the timeof your visitation. God was aboutto reveal his Glory to Chavda“Many years ago”, said Mahesh,“I was a poor graduate student. Ididn’t have much money, but I wasexperienceing the Glory of God.The Lord moved me to go to Ft.Worth, Texas to go to a BillGothard Seminar. It was the midseventies, and I had very littlemoney. I didn’t even have enoughmoney to catch a bus to Ft. Worth.

So I asked someone to give me aride. When I got to the seminar, Ididn’t have a place to stay, but Imiraculously found a familty Iknew. Now realize this; out of the12,000 people who were attend-ing the seminar in this Ft Worth

arena, I supernatually found themthe first night when I didn’t have aplace to stay. I asked them to askthe people they were staying withif I could also stay with them, evenif I had to sleep on the floor. Sincethe seminar was to last for a week,my friends told me that they wouldask. I went to the home with themand my friends introduced me tothem as a friend from India whoneeds a place to stay and could hesleep on your couch or your floor. The lady of the house looked at meand told me I was going to sleepin their master bedroom and thatshe and her husband were goingto sleep on the couch. I protested, that I would be happy to sleep onthe couch, but she insisted that Iwould sleep in the master bed-room. So I agreed. So I go to sleep and suddenly, around three o’clock next morn-ing , I am awakened by the mosthorrible loud noise, because it’s inthe middle of the Vietnam War andwe’re next door to Carswell AirForce Base in Ft. Worth, Texas. Ihear the tremendous sound of B-52’s taking off; the noise shakesthe house, it shakes the room, itshakes the bed, and it continues for

an hour and a half as the planestake off, one after the other. I tryto go back to sleep and finallywake up again around 7 or 7:30and go down and see if I can findany coffee in the kitchen. The ladyof the house, who is my hostess isstanding there and tells me thatshe’s fixed some breakfast for me.I thanked her and let her know Ididn’t expect anything, but whenI turned around, the entire Texastable is filled with chicken, om-elettes, fried eggs, chicken friedsteak, gravy, bacon, sausage, ham,all kinds of pastries, breads, jams, jellies, fruit that I’ve seen and fruitthat I have never seen before andthen she tells me that this feast wasfor me. I sat down at the table andstarted eating. There was no oneelse there but me. I’m suspicious,so I ask myself “What is happen-ing?” I ate what I could and wentto the Gothad Seminar that night, came back to the house and wentto bed. Once again, at 3:00 a.m.in the morning, the house shakes, the room shakes, the bed shakes, and when I wake up at 7:30 in themorning again, the lady of thehouse is standing there and tellsme again that she’s fixed break-fast for me. I looked, and onceagain the whole table is filled, butnow there is also a hutch areafilled with more fruit and she tellsme that she brought in some morefood because she forgot to get‘keebee’ yesterday. It was like anentire cafeteria for one person -me - so I ate as much as I could, all the while becoming very sus-picious. The third night, I amawakened the same way in themorning, also the same thing onthe fourth day. On the fifth day, Igo to bed and I am awakened bysomeone in my room. The roomis golden, with shining beams oflight. I have never seen such won-drous light; it was like living rain-bows right there with the mostwonderful bundled rays of illumi-nation shooting from it. I didn’t knowwhether I was dead or alive; if Iwas alive, I wanted to die becuaseI didn’t ever want to be awayfrom this absolute joy and ecstacythat I was experiencing then andthere. There is nothing in the hu-man language to describe the ut-ter joy and the awesome light; nomere language could describe the

When someone tells youthey’ve been in the presence, I tellyou that when you are in the pres-ence of the Lord or an angel, it willtransform you and change you; itwill change your definition. Mydefinitions changed that day and alot of my theology went out be-cause I realized it is all in Jesus;you will not make a mistake bysaying that “it’s all in Jesus.” As the morning started cominginto the room around to 5:30 or so,the Glory started containing withinitself; it started collecting itself to-gether, and the Lord started walk-ing out of the room. Our fatheris younger than we.” It is a sober-ing thought to realize that the Onewho is called the Ancient of Daysis actually younger than I am. Theearth is running down; our sun isgradually running out of energy;all stored energy in the universe isruning down. In fact, all living

MARSHFIELD, MO --During the summer of2000, though I’d heard

of the revival at Calvary Bap-tist Church in Marshfield, Mo,I’d never been there or met theirpastor. But when we heard thathe and evangelist Wayne Nealwere coming to Mt Vernon todo special services at ‘PastorNeal’s’ former church,Church on the Loop, we gotvery excited! Word spreadlike wildfire! The Holy Ghostwould be arriving in our townwith power and might! Wewouldn’t even have to makeanother trip to Pensacola! Wewere more than ready. Andwe were not disappointed. Pastor Roger Hicks becamea friend during that time. Notonly to me, but to many in ourtown. We had kindred spirits.Wanting all God had for us.Tearing down strongholdsand denominational walls.Diving into, not wading, intothe RIVER of God! When theservices ended we began todrive the hour to Marshfield toattend services as often as wecould. God met us there. So didPastor Roger. He made eachvisitor to his church feel specialand loved. After the servicesguests were invited to the hos-pitality room for snacks and Pas-tor Roger would be there in themiddle of it all, sharing his loveand the love of His God with allwho cared to stay and talk. Ourhunger for His presence was thecommon ground. Pastor Rogerimpacted my husband like noother pastor to this date. He wasgenuine. On Friday, August 6, 2004I was once again at Calvary Bap-tist, now called Four Rivers

Church. Filled with shock andgrief I was there to pay tribute andrespect to my friend Roger Hickswho was electrocuted in a farm ac-cident on August 2. I arrived anhour before service time and yetthe parking lot was nearly full. The sanctuary had filled within 5minutes of the doors opening at8:30 AM so they were now seat-

ing in the (fellowship hall) Free-dom Room. As I entered in, to theworship music playing, I lookedup at the big screen showing thesanctuary. There lay Pastor Roger. In silence I took a deep breath andsighed. One by one they came untilstanding room only was left in theFreedom Room and the hallways. The service was a tribute to Pas-tor Roger Hicks - a Celebrationof Life - and the great love thatthis man had for his family, bothhis personal and church family, hisfriends, his community and hisGod. Deep grief spilled out of thevoices of those who gave testi-mony to God’s goodness to them, through the life of Roger Hicks. It was evidence of His peace that

passes all understanding for howis it possible to know all IS wellwhen your heart is breaking? Worship leader Jim Grove be-

ing the flesh in a hardware storeover problem with a purchase. Pas-tor Roger had such a way of bring-ing himself down to meet people

Roger Hicks Funeralgan with a storyof how a shorttime earlier Pas-tor Roger hadasked him toplease learn thisnext song as hebegan to play...”I will danceas Daviddanced....” andrelayed a story ofhow PastorRoger was thebiggest kid of all when the danc-ing began. Laughter rang thoughout the room. Yes, oh yes....In mymind’s eye, I could once again seePastor Roger’s feet moving acrossthe platform, his eyes shining, head thrown back and Glory onhis face. And tears trickled downmy cheeks. It was shared that Roger Hickshad great passion and compassionfor people and it didn’t matter tohim if they reciprocated or not. Hejust wanted to influence others tolive for Jesus Christ because hehad a great life he wanted to shareit with others. It was told that Hewas selfless and had no ‘secretfishing holes’ because if he foundone, he would always come backto take you to it, too! This was thekind of man that Roger Hicks was.He loved with all his heart, heworshiped with all his heart andhe lived with all his heart! There was a video presentationthat took you the gamut fromRoger teaching a powerfullyanointed and ironic message ontragedy, to scenes of Holy Laugh-ter hopelessly wracking his bodyas he was trying to perform a bap-tism. Over and over and overagain he tried and each time thelaughter choked him up for whatmust have been five minutes whilewe in the room caught the laugh-ter, too. Oh, my that felt good! Then on to a teaching on his fight-

where they are. No wonder peopleloved this man so much. Testimony after testimony ofhow this farmer/pastor fromNiangua, Missouri (nearMarshfield) challenged people togo after God with all their hearts.Of how He had loved them intoGod’s Kingdom. Of how he taughtthem that ‘Not all correct decisionshave popular responses’ Some-

times life is difficult but it’s worthdoing right. A time of reflection on howRoger impacted each of us brought

forth words ofhow death hadvisited the Hicksfamily this weekand will, indeed, visit each of us.Were we ready?A salvationprayer was re-peated and I amsure I am not theonly one whofeels there weremany added into

the Kingdom that day. This weekin South West Missouri life hasbeen difficult. We have lost one ofour own. One of God’s finest inRoger Hicks. Though we know heis home, once again dancing likeDavid danced and sitting at theright hand of our Father, it is hard. Please remember Sarah Hicks andtheir children in your prayers.

Pastor Roger Hicks became a friendduring that time. Not only to me,but to many in our town. We had

kindred spirits. Wanting all God hadfor us. Tearing down strongholds

and denominational walls.

Kingsport, Tennessee was spoken of by Rodney Howard-Browne as a place where greatrevival will happen. The people at Restoration Church in Downtown Kingsport are sensing

the presence of God ever since the Fire on the Mountain Conference. God has been touchingthose who are seeking His face and the glory hasn’t gone away.

God as the prophet speaks thename of a King that will be thelast good King of Judah: Josiah!Three Hundred years before thisKing is born, the Prophet trav-eled to Bethel from Jerusalem tospeak these words to KingJeroboam and as the King heardthe word, he put forth his handordering the Prophet to be ‘laidhold of’. But God dried up hishand so he could not pull it back!I have never been moved uponby God in such a strange wayover a direction in scripture, un-til I heard him say “You are thatprophet.” Because you have al-ready published the word, youwill now go and preach thisword to Northern Virginia. There is a center of glory lo-cated in Leesburg, Virginia thatis the Women’s Aglow led by agodly woman named RuthTrumbo. As Ruth directs mysteps and where I preach, I havefound the open pockets of glorythere among the dry bones of re-ligion. The Jerusalem prophetwas told not to eat or drink any-thing until he returned to Jerusa-lem. While he had control overthe Spirtiual position of God to-ward Bethel, he had no personalself control over what God hadtold him for his own personallife. Obedience is obediencewhether it is to a nation or to anindividual. It is essential that aprophet follow in complete obe-dience. Prophets are not received bypeople very well at times. Thistime, a word was going to bepreached in several places forfull effect. It was in this samearea last February, that God haddirected me to preach on the

sodomites and now God wantedme to release a warning for whatis about to take place in our coun-try. It was strange that Josiah wascalled into existence by God, 300years before he was born, but thebirth of this King was a warningof what was about to happen wellbeyond his reign. Josiah’s reignwould mark the last years of theJudean monarchy before the Isra-

Kings, you see the sruggle of thegood Kings and the bad Kings ofIsrael and Judah. Jeroboam repre-sents the beginning of the strugglebetween good and bad. Josiahwould be the last good King in thatstruggle. My friends, we are in thestruggle of the good and the badkings. We are watching the paradeof good and bad Presidents in ourcountry. The struggle of the good

spirit-man rose up inside of me andsaid, “Jerrell, this is prejudice, these are religious people and youcannot see what is behind them. They will never allow him to suc-ceed if it is in their power.” So mysermon on that Sunday morning inPurcellville, would lead me tospeak about the prejudice of whitePentecostal organizations ofAmerica. My text centered around thefreedoms that Amerians prize andabout what they believe. I startedto preach about the prejudice ofAzusa, about how a humble one-eyed black preacher named JamesWilliam Seymour was moved bythe Spirit in Los Angeles, Califor-nia and that every known work ofmodern day Pentecost can betraced to this initial move of Godin California. But it still neverchanged the prejudice of the whiteman’s heart toward their blackcounterparts. The archives of thismove of God are held in check bya large Pentecostal demonimationbut the hypocracy of Pentecost is

elites would be captured and takeninto captivity. Even Josiah in IIKings 22: 16-19 receives a wordabout the impending destructionfrom the woman prophet. Thewoman speaks of Josiah and howGod has heard his voice crying out, then she speaks of the destructionof Jerusalem because of its wick-edness. She tells Josiah that he willnot be a part of the judgement, butthat this will happen in days tocome. We live in a country that hashad 300 years of freedom. Ourcountry now stands at the door ofit’s own judgement because it isgoing against the natural order ofGod. Marriage is now in the cat-egory of sodomy. An AnglicanBishop has defiled the Word ofGod and has become the first sod-omite to sit in that seat as a bishop. Our U.S. upreme Court has legal-ized abortion to the tune of 60,000innocent lives. The killing of ba-bies in the mother’s womb and theunnatural act of sodomy has con-tradicted God’s blessing upon ouronce righteous America. When you read the Book of

kings and the bad kings of Israel-Judah is much like our strugglehere in the United States. Althoughour country started out in the pur-suit of Christian Religious Free-dom, we now recognize everyfalse God on the earth under theguise of Religious toleration. Thegovernment has forgotten that itwas established on Judeo-Chris-tian beliefs and the Bible. While in Purcellville, I went tospeak at a black church on Sun-day morning. It was the first ofmany black churches to come intoPentecost in the last 20 years. There are many Black BaptistChurches in the country that havesurrendered to the move of theSpirit and are still waiting for theirwhite counterparts to follow. Butthis, was a very special church. Thelast time I spoke at this church, wasthe morning before I flew fromRonald Reagan Airport in Wash-ington to go to Lagos, Nigeria, where I witnessed T.B.Joshua prayfor a Zulu Princess and saw Godheal her after seven years of epi-lepsy. It was soon after thatT.B.Joshua was attacked and my

that these archives speak the truth.Very often truth is spoken in areasof great hypocracy and when thescripture says, “Not by might, norpower, but by my Spirit saith theLord, can we understand what isbeing said. Without the Spirit ofGod stirring, the Truth cannot bebrought forth in power even if theTruth is a verified Truth. Today, there is a Black Pente-cost and a White Pentecost. Themessage of Asuza Street was unity, but somehow, the fundamentalministers who returned home sepa-rated from their fundamental be-liefs and denominations to startnew works, but they never saw theneed to end prejudice in theChurch. While these brave newmen were persecuted for the truthin their new Pentecostal Denomi-nations, they never saw the needto remove the prejudice from theChurch world. It is one of the greatweaknesses of Pentecostal Revivalthat there is still prejudice in thechurch today. I was delivering hardand fast words to a small group ofpeople who clearly understoodwhat I was saying. When I moved

into the prophetic prayer time, themost powerful annointing I haveever felt came upon me in thatlittle church of black people. As Ilaid my hands on one elderly lady,a trickle of oil began to cover thetops of both of my hands.Electircity was in the air as theGloy of God came forward totouch and to heal. Wow! Glory BeTo God! My next stop for the day wasthe Purcellville Assembly of GodChurch where, once again, Godwas moving by His mighty power.A woman came forward duringthe prayer time and asked forprayer for her granddaughter whohad leukemia. God’s Glory wasso powerful that my hands wereonce again charged with electric-ity and she flew from my handsback five feet, and landed on thefloor without a catcher, but itdidn’t matter because you couldsee the full Glory of God reflectedin her face. When she got up shesaid she had never been touchedby the Holy Spirit in such a deepway. I had two more meetings af-ter this on Monday and Tuesdaywhere the power was in evidenceonce again, each time growinggreater in its strength. I don’t usually write muchabout what I do on the road butthe message that was brought forthwas a bone-chilling warning to TheUnited States of America to turnfrom its wicked ways. I was hear-ing from God and I want to sharethese experiences and situations withyou. God will use anyone to speak, but the urgency of this message wasbrought forth in a season of time. Ibelieve God is warning this countryto make a choice right now! In thiselection year, we have seen the great-est issues ever to affect mankindbrought forth to the church. Whatlittle we have said and done has beenridiculed in the secular press and hasbeen looked on with hatred andvenom by those who would castfreedom in an unholy light. Butmake no mistake about it, we aregoing to be held accountable. Ev-ery pulpit in America should besounding this warning about theabortionists and the sodomites. Oth-erwise, how will they know thewrong they do without it beingpreached from the pulpit. Be inprayer for this election and the fu-ture of our great nation. In the bible,Egypt represents sin. The good KingJosiah was killed in battle as he cameagainst the Pharoah, King of Egypt!

I started to go into the prophetic prayer time and as each person cameforward so did the most powerful anointing that I have ever felt comeforward. As I layed my hands on one elderly lady a tick oil began to

cover the top of both of my hands. Electricity was in the air as the glorycame forward to touch and to heal.

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL: ElizerBen-Yehuda was a languagescholar at the turn of the last cen-

Ben-Yehuda was born inhumble surroundings of Lituania onJanuary 7, 1858 and his birth sym-bolized the return of the Jews to Pal-estine. The Prophet Zephaniah saidthat when the Jews returned to theirown homeland, everyone would be-gin to speak in their mother tongueagain. Around 1900, Ben-Yehuda re-ceived a vision from God insructinghim to establish a dictionary of He-brew words that would allow mod-ern day Jewish people to study the

Then when the nation wasestablished in 1946, the new immi-grants to Israel were taught the He-brew language in schools etablishedby the government.
