A defined area of minimum clear space around the LOWESTOFT logo helps protect its integrity and ensures maximum impact.

This space should be kept clear of all type, graphic elements, keylines and photography.The minimum clear space surrounding the logo is defined by the width of one of the windows. However, a larger area of clear space is preferable, please allow as much clear space as possible.

The logo type features two window shapes derived from the architecture of the college buidling. They are set at a 45 degree angle to each other. The two surfaces create an optical illusion that present two different perspectives.

LOWESTOFT MONO LOGO

MONOFor use where only one colour is available.We have provided a mono black version that can be used on black and white publications. However, the colour can be changed depending on the design. An example of this would be if the logo were appearing alongside other logos and all of them needed to be in one colour.

Wherry Yacht Charter takes care of the only surviving fleet of Norfolk Wherries – Hathor, Olive, Norada and White Moth. Its aims are to restore, maintain and preserve, and to commercially charter and enable education on the Wherries.

The Logo Type features the shape of a Wren silhouetted against the Sun. The word Wren is in full caps using the typeface Foundry Gridnik Medium.The supporting line ‘resourcing your projects’ uses Lubalin Graph BT Bold. This supporting line links Wren with FCC Environmental. The supporting line‘s use of blue, the typeface and the chevrons are all inherited from FCC’s branding. STREAM BRANDINGWREN has three ‘streams’ within which it operates funding programmes. They are Community, Biodiversity and Heritage.We have applied a colour to these three streams to distinquish them from each other.We have also created a set of graphics so that these streams can be applied to communications material as required.These graphics are based on the FCC use of type and chevrons. We have added the WREN bird and sun to maintain the link to the overarching WREN brand.

WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited)

WREN distributes funding received through the landfill waste tax from an organisation called FCC Environment. Last year they funded community, biodiversity and heritage projects in the UK to the tune of £14 million.

What WREN looks for – Play Facilities for Children and Young PeopleWREN is a not for profit business that awards grants to community and environmental projects across the UK. Funds are donated to WREN by FCC Environment part of a voluntary environmental tax credit scheme called the Landfill Communities Fund.

Since 1988, WREN has granted over £150m to more than 6,500 projects which benefit people living within 10 miles of an FCC Environment landfill site.
