The Role and Importance of your Referral-based Implant Marketing

2018 Educational Weekend Practice Management Stand-Alone Meeting

Saturday, April 21 Atlanta, Ga.

The Thriving Implant Practice

Synopsis

Learning Objectives

Attendees will leave with strategies that can be instituted within weeks, if not days. If used consistently, these strategies can help an implant practice grow significantly.

The field of implant dentistry has grown exponentially in the past decade. It is incumbentupon oral and maxillofacial surgeons to present confidence and efficiency in implant placement not only for patients but also referring dentists.

This course will outline specific strategies to improve the public’s perception of your practice, including how to institute multitier marketing systems to grow the practice. The course will define specific duties of the implant treatment coordinator, including a systematic consultation process and how its role is vital to the health of the practice.

The speaker also will discuss how to position your practice in the community to showcase the vast scope of available treatments and procedures. Discussion will take place on the best use of technology for in-office surgical guides to ensure more efficient and predictable placements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Develop a thorough job description for an implant treatment coordinator.

2. Train the implant treatment coordinator and team to efficiently schedule and carry outthe implant exam process.

3. Set up and institute an easy and efficient way to plan and print surgical guides, increasing predictability and efficiency in a busy implant practice.

4. Systematize implant exams, including: single tooth (missing), single tooth extract/graft/place, single tooth/immediate place, esthetic zone placement, maxillary andmandibular overdentures, and “all-on-four.”

5. Implement multiple tactics to market an implant practice so it is the leading dentalimplant facility in the community.

6. Put into place a multitier referral base.

7. Understand how to print in-office surgical guides and the work flow involved.

“Thank you so much for sharing all your helpful tips! We are excited to try some of the techniques!”
