MKN 421 simple power-law test

Excluding inner 3 columnsgives a 15% decrease in measuredflux. Slope is stable.

Conclusions

Major problem with ARF in SAS 8 when inner columns are excluded in timing mode observations. New image integration technique fixes this Residual problem at 15% level in flux if inner 3 cols excluded Spectral parameters reasonably consistent so looking acceptable…
