• There is currently a military in Iraq called the New Iraqi Military (NIA).

• The Military in Iraq was developed by the Multi-National Security Transition Command and it is commanded by U.S. Army Lieutenant general Michael D. Barbero.

• Currently the Iraqi Military has 14 divisions, 56 brigades, and 185 combat battalions. The 6th division, 12th division, and the 17th division are still missing their fourth maneuver brigades .

• Divisions are forming engineer, logistics, mortar, and other units by identifying over-strength units, such as the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) battalions and other headquarters elements, and then transferring them as needed.

• According to the U.S. Dept of Defense, the Iraqi Military in the end will have approximately a 300,000 person force with 10 infantry divisions and 6 mechanized infantry divisions consisting of 36 brigades and 113 battalions.

• The thing that surprised me the most in the movie was that the U.S. was not doing anything about the looting going on in Iraq. They were just watching it all happen. The only thing that that the U.S. troops were protecting was the oil.

• The thing that angered me the most in the movie was that the war wasn’t really ever planned out too good. It said in the movie that George Bush only planned for 60 days before sending U.S. troops into Iraq.

• It also angered me that none of the U.S. vehicles were armored.
