Give us 24 hours notice and we will collect the U Crate. Truck it to our shipping terminal. Load it into a shipping container. Ship it to the destination port. Clear it through customs. Truck the U Crate to your residence. Deliver U Crate to your driveway or garage or unload

Strength: 1,500 lb. test triple wall corrugated sleeve rests between thermoformed plastic 4-way entry pallet and hard plastic lid.

Pallet: Pallet interlocks with wall piece and lid.

Assembly: Sliding tabs snap into place securing wall piece, pallet and lid.

Contents: Bottom plastic pallet, tri wall piece and plastic top. (3 pieces)

Once Booked……We will ship you the U Crate to your address. It usually takes 4-5 days to get to you, but we can use a faster service at an additional cost if you are really in a hurry.

It will be fine in a garage or under a covered porch but if you are carrying it inside it weighs about 60 lbs. so its quite easy to move between two of you.

If you don’t have a garage it’s a good idea to practice loading it inside your home and seeing how much you can get into the U Crate and have a load plan so that on the collection day and you are loading the U Crate outside, you know exactly where everything needs to be and it all fits in nicely.

Open the U Crate carefully…Take off the shrink wrap, cut the tie straps and take off the lid and the wall piece and place them on the ground. You can start stacking your boxes on the pallet. Try and use boxes of the same size so that they fit well together. Place boxes within half an inch of the edge of the pallet so there is room for the wall piece to fit over and connect to the pallet. Make sure everything is tight.

Start Loading the U CrateYou want to start loading up the pallet with your heaviest boxes with a bottom layer and depending on the height of your boxes, may be a second layer before you put on the wall piece. Be careful to not overlap the edge of the boxes with the edge of the pallet base as the wall piece needs to fit inside the pallet base.

Make sure everything is well wrapped and has your name on each piece. There might be a gap down a side where you can load flat thin items like packed pictures or a folding chair for example. Any gaps, stuff with paper, bubble wrap, cardboard, blankets or pillows.

Keep Calm and Keep Loading

When you have it all loaded to about half the height, you need to put on the wall piece. This is one piece so its easier with two people but can be done on your own if you are feeling strong! It only fits one way around, be sure to line up the edges and push it in securely.

Loose items that don’t fit in a box like a chair, garden tools or pictures for example can be loaded but pack well in bubble wrap. Load it all snug and tight. Make sure every piece has your name on it and it’s numbered to match your packing list. Any gaps stuff with paper, bubble wrap, cardboard or blankets & pillows.

Lift on the U Crate lid and bobs your uncle!

The heavy duty plastic lid fits easily in place on top.Now for the clever part!......

Getting Clickey with it, on the pallet

Put your hand under the pallet between the legs and pull the blue ring towards you and you will feel it click in place

This is what the underneath of the pallet looks like so you can see the blue ring that will be pulled towards you to click it into place and secure the sleeve to the pallet.

Do this on all 4 clips. If it doesn’t clip smoothly press down on the sleeve until its in the right position to click in place. Its really simple!

Getting Clickey with it, with the lid

The lid secures by sliding these blue rings towards you. You will feel them click into place.

Insert finger and pull towards you. Its so simple yet totally secure!

If the ring doesn't click into place easily, either lift or press down on the lid slightly so that it aligns and clicks into place.

Make her look pretty !

Print the labels that we emailed you and stick on the sides of the U Crate

And off she goes !

Let us know 24 hours ahead, Mon-Fri, when you want it collected and using a pallet jack and tail lift the U Crate gets collected from your driveway or curbside and lifted onto the truck. Our normal rates are based on collection anytime during the day but quite often for a small extra charge we can arrange a 2 hour collection window.

Leave the rest to us!

The U Crate gets trucked to one of our main shipping terminals.

It gets loaded into a shipping container with lots of other UPakWeShip customers cargo.

All Aboard!

The container is then loaded on the ship and off it goes to the destination port.

When the ship arrives we offload the container from the ship and take it to our local terminal.

Customs

Before delivery can take place, customs have to approve it to be allowed into the country. Customs can inspect your shipment so make sure your detailed packing list matches the items in your shipment and everything has your name on it. Arrival Overseas

Once customs cleared and the U Crate is at our overseas terminal, we start planning the deliveries.

Delivery Time

We will call you and arrange a delivery date. U Cube European deliveries are normally made to your driveway or garage. Other destinations like Australia and New Zealand, they are often unloaded and the items taken into your new residence.

Recycle! & have fun with your boxes!

After delivery, the U Crate and the boxes make a great play house! You can also draw on them and don’t forget to pop the bubble wrap!
