Energy Efficient Lighting Toolkit

Integrated Approach

• Estimates for 100 countries of energy savings, CO2 reduction

and financial savings by moving to efficient lighting

• Highlights the shift from incandescent lamps to CFLs

• Additional technologies and applications will significantly

increase these gains (commercial, street lighting)

• Second generation of CLAs currently underway to be released

by Rio +20 Conference, Rio de Janiero, Brazil in June 2012
