The United States Military is the strongest military in the world. It consists odifferent branches all with different jobs and a different purpose.

The five branchesare the Marines, Navy, Air Force, Army, and the Coas

The Marines- The Marines are the nations first line of defense. They are dswiftly and aggressively in times of crisis.

The Navy- The Navy maintains combat ready naval forces. They also m

freedom of the sea. The Air Force- The Air Forces main mission is to maintain control of the a

cyberspace.

The Army- The Army protects our freedoms at home and defends demoworldwide.

The Coast Guard- The Coast Guard maintains maritime security, safety, stewardship.

NAVAL AVIATORNaval Aviators go through some of themost intense aviation training in theworld. They learn how to fly manydifferent types of aircraft ranging fromstrike fighters to helicopters.

Their specific responsibilities are to trackenemy submarines above the oceanssurface.

Training for this job varies for whichaircraft the individual is learning how tooperate.

EXPLOSIVEORDNANCEDISPOSAL SPECIALISTAn explosive ordnance disposalspecialistis the military's explosiveexperts. They are properly trained todefeat and exploit unexplodedordnance.

Training for an EOD starts with tenweeks of basic combat trainingfollowed by thirty-nine weeks ofadvanced individual training.
