WELCOME TO THE URBAN COTTAGE COLLECTION

ammy and Joe Jur have long admired the beauty and timelessness of the traditional classic American home built in the pre-war era between1900 and1940. These buildings were designed and constructed at a time in American history when people believed in true talent and strived for the highest level of craftsmanship that was handed down through generations. There was a complete devotion to even the finest of details, most of which have been nearly wiped out by the track home standardization practices popular today. The driving force behind the Urban Cottage Collection, is to be inspired by this time honored design history; and to reintroduce these finer characteristics and traits into ready-to-customize plans that will fit perfectly in new urbanism planned communities and nestle nicely in the infieldlots of older established neighborhoods.

A nod to the future played a significant role in preparing this collection. Pre-war era homes had small rooms and would not adequately support the needs of today’s (or tomorrow’s) lifestyle. Great efforts were made to build cottages for tomorrow, by creating large multi-functional and wide open interior living spaces. The end resultis a unique collection of fifteen homes that marry classical American architecture withmodern features and open floorplans.
