INTRODUCTION

There is no voice that is more

powerful than God’s

His voice is holy, distinct and

versatile, resounding throughout

each corner of the heavens &

earth

We discuss the voice of God

during the Day of Trumpets

because this day points to the

time in which God’s voice will call

his saints & gather them to Mt.

Zion

Page 3: The Voice of God

When God Speaks • God’s voice is not like ours. When he

speaks creation obeys, a law is

established, new life begins or a soul

is destroyed.

Page 4: The Voice of God

And God Said....

• With this very voice the heaven and

earth were created. “And God said,

let there be light......”

Page 5: The Voice of God
Page 6: The Voice of God

And God Said.... • The same voice that destroyed also

healed. “And, behold, there was a

woman which had a spirit of infirmity

eighteen years, and was bowed together,

and could in no wise lift up herself. And

when Jesus saw her, he called her to

him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art

loosed from thine infirmity.”

• (Luke 13: 11-12)

Page 7: The Voice of God

And God Said.... • The same voice that healed also brought the

dead back to life. “And when he thus had

spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus,

come forth. And he that was dead came

forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes:

and his face was bound about with a napkin.

Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him

go.”

• (St. John 11: 43-44)

God’s Voice Divided God’s voice is represented by the entire

throne of God

Without the voice of God the Father

nothing would be in existence

It was he that spoke and created the

entire throne of God, appointing each of

them their roles

Page 9: The Voice of God

God’s Voice Divided When Christ spoke he created the

heaven, earth and every living creature

that exists beneath the throne of God

He is also the word, law and truth

When he was on this earth, multitudes

would come and listen to him preach the

gospel

We continue to hear Christ’s voice today

whether it be directly from him, through

the Holy Spirit or the bible

During his second coming all will hear his

voice

Page 10: The Voice of God

God’s Voice Divided The Holy Spirit speaks unto us to

convince us of righteousness

That still, small voice (conscience) that

guides us everyday on what is right &

wrong is the voice of the Holy Spirit

He is the Teacher of Righteousness,

speaking to our hearts & minds about

the word of God and giving us

understanding

His voice is comforting because he

brings into remembrance the promise &

hope of Christ

Versatility of God’s Voice

There is no limit to God’s voice

His voice can be gentle and soft as a whisper as

well as loud & frightening

The symbols that represent God’s voice are

often very loud and command attention

Symbols of God’s Voice • (Revelations 14: 2)

• “And I heard a voice from heaven, as

the voice of many waters, and as the

voice of a great thunder: and I heard

the voice of harpers harping with their

harps:”

Page 16: The Voice of God

Symbols of God’s Voice • (Revelations 1: 10-11)

• I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and

heard behind me a great voice, as of a

trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and

Omega, the first and the last: and, What

thou seest, write in a book, and send it

unto the seven churches.....

God’s Voice As the

Trumpet Spiritual Relevance on an Individual Level

The Feast of Trumpets represents the first step

involved in an individual gaining salvation

Before you can repent or seek the word of God you

have to be called & warned about the truth

The Holy Spirit speaks to us to convince us of

righteousness

The Wisdom of God speaks to our minds calling us out

of the broad path so that we can fear God & learn to

obey

Christ who is the word & truth also reaches out to us &

warns us to keep his law

Page 18: The Voice of God

God’s Voice As the

Trumpet Spiritual Relevance on a Worldwide Level

During the second coming of Christ he will speak like

a trumpet sounding from heaven

All people will hear his voice, both the righteous and

the wicked

His voice will be so powerful that it will shake the

earth and wake the dead
