Make Up of the Universe

The universe is nothing plus vibrating energy

We notice them with our senses and that transforms our understanding of them into complex electro chemicals that provide us with cognition, memory, personal consciousness

We do not perceive but create what we experience

Thus, the world is merely an illusion – similar to a waking dream that manifest itself continually through life

For example, images that seem like different colors are really various wavelengths of light hitting on rod and cones in our eyes

Our minds translates that to what we call colors and it is all an illusion

So-called solid objects are vibrations so deep and dense that they seem like tangible objects

Everything has energy, and everything is energy

Maya

The Sanskrit word Maya is translated as illusion, but it is only approximately its meaning

It is like awakening from a dream and realizing it was all an illusion

Nevertheless, the “illusion” seems very real and it is real to you

Illusion does not exist; Maya exists and does not exist at the same time

Maya and a Movie

Watching a movie is analogous to Maya

The movie – to some extend– is very real to you at the time

Objects in the movie seem so real but they are not

When you start seeing beyond the illusions of life, that does not mean that those illusions are not very real to you as you experience joy and sorrow, see colors and textures, and feel the ups and downs of life

Witness Consciousness

When you are aware you are watching a movie or aware that you are watching the illusions of life, you are experiencing witness consciousness

This is a precious state of mind that needs to be cultivated

A spiritual seeker does not create a new state of consciousness but merely becomes aware of his or her own higher part that is Self and it always existed

When witness consciousness occurs, the physical realm no longer is a priority as it is merely one of many things occurring

Life is But an Illusion

You are the creator of what you call the universe But you disguise yourself You place the blindfold of sensory perception and mental

limitation over the truth

With the disguise, blindfold and mental limitation you see your own life as real and as being an objective reality

Maybe the universe is simply a supreme consciousness or maybe not

Maybe the universe is a like a big dream shaped by pure creative conscousness which is your true nature

Different Views of Life

It is game

It is a movie

It is suffering

It is the nature of supreme bliss

It is a laboratory to learn – if you wish -- spirituality

Maybe each of the above is merely one of many faces of life and none of the previous views is right or wrong

Phenomenal escapades

Incredible characters

Abundant plot lines

Your life and your dreams are more involved and creative than any movie could be

Maintain this awareness as you

live and act in the circumstance

Interpreting Life

Realize that your waking state is filled with a rich tapestry of symbolism

Without spirituality, your reality appears to be drab and meaningless

With spirituality and the understanding of seeing the symbolism in your life, even boring times become fascinating and educational

You will see omens, patterns, and beautiful synchronicity

Made of Your Consciousness

If you dream of a vase, is it not made of consciousness

It may seem to be made of glass, metal or clay, but it is made of your consciousness

The second substance – glass, metal or clay – is illusion and the real “substance” is your consciousness

This “substance” can change anything, create new worlds, and answer any prayer

You cannot fully know

The metaphor is school You go to learn If you do not, you redo the year

Every soul is at a different level of evolution but you can be in many grades at the same time

School for the Soul

Life and your world is a school for the soul

You experience a series of experiences, tests, and lessons

Each lessons you must learn is why you are here -- why you have manifested this life with its human form, thoughts, emotions, and perceptions

You were born to your circumstances because those were the circumstances you needed to experience for your own soul evolution

The Impetus for Growth

It comes from your circumstancesThey test your inner resourcesChallenge you to respond from an

These challenge experiences are part of the forging that hammers and shapes your evolving soul

Purpose of a Test

It is not the grade – it is the learning prompted because of the test --- that is why cheating is almost always stupid

With life lessons, it is the inner transformation and growth you experience by going through it that is purpose of the lessons

As a student in life, you job is to experience and then look for the deeper meaning regarding your growth from each experience

As you get better at learning, you sense a benign universe which only gives hardship lessons if that is the best and maybe only way you can learn a difficult lesson for yourself
