Scholars, experienced teachers, language learners and even common sense will tell you that when it
comes to learning languages, the younger the better.
Mandarin House provides Chinese Language and Culture Summer Programs for students 7 to 16
years of age. Well over 400 students from 30 plus ountries have joined Mandarin House for summer
camps which creates a uniquely diverse environment for developing language and interpersonal skills.
Our programs are located in the city centers of Beijing, Guangzhou or Shanghai.These modern cities
enjoy a safe reputation and have comfortable living conditions.
Our dedicated and experienced teachers, monitors and coordinators together with all participants
develop a unique, diverse and safe environment for improving language, culture and social skills,
Mandarin lessons in the morning and excursions or workshops in the afternoon help you to
experience traditional and modern China firsthand and learn Mandarin through a full immersion
environment.

ORGANIZATION:
- The program director is responsible for students’ safety and comfort, along
with the head coordinator. They are assisted by a team of dedicated
professionals including activity coordinators, language teachers and monitors.
- Host families for the homestay program are hand-picked and enthusiastic
to have young adults stay and live with them.
- The monitors coordinate the camp's activities and excursions, and remain with
the residence camp groups during evenings and weekends.
- Every language teacher holds a university degree and is experienced in teaching
Chinese as a foreign language.
A wonderful opportunity to discover China’s political capital with a heritage rich in culture and history. Be sure to visit the Great Wall, the Olympic Park in the northern suburbs of the city and see the Bird’s Nest, Water Cube and Olympic Village with your own eyes.
