*HYMN There’s Within My Heart a Melody UMH 380 There's within my heart a melody Jesus whispers sweet and low: Fear not, I am with thee, peace, be still, in all of life's ebb and flow. Chorus Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know, fills my every longing, keeps me singing as I go.
All my life was wrecked by sin and strife, discord filled my heart with pain; Jesus swept across the broken strings, stirred the slumbering chords again. Chorus
Feasting on the riches of his grace, resting ‘neath his sheltering wing, always looking on his smiling face, that is why I shout and sing. Chorus
Soon he's coming back to welcome me far beyond the starry sky; I shall wing my flight to worlds unknown; I shall reign with him on high. Chorus

SCRIPTURE Psalm 96:1-3, 10-13
*HYMN Jesus Saves! UMH 581 We have heard the joyful sound: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Spread the tidings all around: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Bear the news to every land, climb the mountains, cross the waves; Onward! ’tis our Lord’s command; Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Waft it on the rolling tide: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Tell to sinners far and wide: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Sing, you islands of the sea; echo back, you ocean caves; Earth shall keep her jubilee: Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Sing above the battle strife: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! By His death and endless life Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Shout it brightly through the gloom, when the heart for mercy craves; Sing in triumph o’er the tomb: Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Give the winds a mighty voice: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Let the nations now rejoice: Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Shout salvation full and free; highest hills and deepest caves; This our song of victory: Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
ANTHEM I’m Standing on the Solid Rock comp. Harold Lane Chancel Choir
*LITANY Liturgist: Sing a new song to the Lord,
He to whom wonders belong! Congregation: Rejoice in his triumph
and tell of his power— O sing to the Lord a new song!
Liturgist: Sing a new song and rejoice, publish his praises abroad!
Congregation Let voices in chorus with trumpet and horn, resound for the joy of the Lord!
Liturgist: Join with the hills and the sea, thunders of praise to prolong! In judgment and justice he comes to the earth—
Together: Rejoice in his triumph and tell of his power— O sing to the Lord a new song!

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
*HYMN Amazing Grace UMH 378 Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
When we've been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we first begun.

HYMN Blessed Assurance UMH 369 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
Chorus
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.
Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels, descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
Chorus
Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
Chorus
