CONTEST ALERT

Herersquos a debate we will all want you to participate in We are inviting arguments in favour and against net neutrality Do send in your thoughts after reading this paragraph on what Net Neutrality actually is

There are specific apps like Skype Whatsapp and Facebook that ride on telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone which eat up into the market share of telecom operators because people are increasingly using these free calling apps to call instead of using paid calling services especially for international calling In the light of the above the Telecom Regulatory Authority has asked the public to respond to some questions

These set of questions have also raised questions on net neutrality which ensured that the internet remained a level playing ground Basis the responses TRAI will eventually take a call on whether India has to change its approach to Internet regulation

While we all love the internet the way it is Telecom operators who have set towers enabling internet on mobile phones feel that the calling services and social net-working sites are eating on the number of calls people originally made But that said the telcos do make money when internet consumption increases

We feel that imposing such restrictions would change the internet and adversely impact companies like Flipkart Facebook Google and more which depend on the internet

Do share your views on the same and let us know your views on whether the above internet services should be paid or not Your articles would win you attractive prizes and the best opinions will be shared in our next edition

Pangong Tso (a huge lake

running across India and

China) in Ladakh acts like a sea with

tides and waves

Since the Himalayas were formed be-

cause of two land masses or tectonic

plates colliding it formed ripples the

highest of those (being close to the fault

line) being the Himadri The ripple effect of

the earthquake that would have occoured

when the masses collided formed the Hima-

chal (which are not as tall as the Himadri)

and the Shivalik

The Himalayas are home to many semiolo-

gists and Scientists studying Geography to-

pography rocks and fossils

Why is Rahul Gandhi After the Land Acquisition Bill

How the Himalayas Formed

The re-introduction of the

Rehabilitation and Resettle-

in the Parliament by the

Modi Government has wit-

nessed a strong bone of

contention The Right to Fair

those whose lands have

been taken away The 2013

Act had been replaced by

the Land Acquisition Act

1984

The recent ordinance

introduced by the Modi

in the Universe where

life forms exist Howev-

er in the recent times

environmental degra-

dation pollution and

climate changes have

posed serious threats to

our natural assets In or-

der to sustain life at-

tempts should be made

to protect and preserve

the planet earth

With a focus on the en-

vironmental challenges

of our time the ldquoWorld

Earth Dayrdquo is celebrat-

22 as an annual event

Earth Day was first cele-

and then started celebrating annually

on global basis by almost 192 coun-

The main objective however is to cre-

ate awareness among the people about

environmental safety and demonstrate

measures to protect the environment

This year World Earth day was cele-

derful Worldrsquo The focus was on climatic

changes and global warming that leads

to rise in temperature with each pass-

In our country many school students

colleges and organizations initiated to

celebrate this day The changing eco-

jeopardize development Change in cli-

matic condition can reduce agricul-

tural production cause more health

hazards overburden poverty rates

and even erode food security

Thus India is facing alarming situa-

tions concerning the climate The fast

growing economy of our country
