EXTERIOR. INTERIOR.The BMW Z4 is a true roadster, embodying passion in each detail and contour of its body. The re-designed exterior with its BMW Kidney grille with new mesh design, vertically aligned headlights and large Air Breathers on the front wheel arches contributes towards the characteristic look of the BMW Z4.With a trim range comprising Sport, M Sport and M40i models, each providing a generous standard specification, you can be sure there is a model to suit you. There is an extensive range of choice in the BMW Z4 with optional exterior colours including the striking San Francisco Red metallic paint, seen for the first time in the BMW range. Also available is an array of packages, such as the optional Shadowline Plus package exclusively available for the M40i model, as well as exterior trims and light alloy wheels for a true BMW experience.

The design of the headlights is similar to that seen in the Z4 concept vehicle, offering a different but still recognisable BMW front end. Optional BMW Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with full ‘White’ LED headlights for low and high beam offer a greater resemblance to daylight.Just a glance at the BMW Z4’s proportions leaves no doubt about its dynamic potential.

The innovative technologies available, such as the latest generation iDrive BMW Operating System 7.0, high resolution 10.25" touch-operated screen and BMW Live Cockpit Professional, underpin the advanced status the traditional concept of a roadster has reached with the BMW Z4.

The design of the interior also places the focus on the puristic sportiness of the BMW Z4. Inside there is a clearly structured arrangement of control elements, complemented by the driver-orientated cockpit design that enhances the focus on the driving experience.Shown here is Vernasca leather upholstery in Ivory White with decorative stitching that comes as standard. This is perfectly complemented by the optional Aluminium Mesh effect interior trim. The BMW Individual High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim with extended contents includes the Kidney grille frame in High-gloss Black and tailpipe trim in Black Chrome.

The Adaptive LED headlights include BMW Selective Beam for automatic activation of low and high beam.

Lane change warning monitors the zones to each side of the vehicle and detects vehicles in the blind spot. It warns via vibration in the steering wheel and a flashing symbol in the exterior mirror. Rear collision warning detects the threat of rear collisions and issues a warning.

In the case of Services that require personal data to be collected, stored and processed so that such Services can actually be provided, BMW informs customers of this in advance by providing this data protection notice The Services are provided by means of a SIM card installed in the vehicle.

DEACTIVATIONYou can have the BMW ConnectedDrive services deactivated through an authorized BMW centre, a BMW subsidiary or a BMW authorised workshop at any time. This also has the consequence that aspects of the emergency call in the vehicle as well as all remaining Services will no longer function. You can additionally arrange for the remaining Services to be deactivated via “My BMW ConnectedDrive”.If the vehicle is equipped with the legally required EU Emergency Call (as from April 2018) a deactivation of the BMW ConnectedDrive basic services will not deactivate the vehicle’s built-in SIM card. It has to remain active, so that the EU Emergency Call is functional all the time.
