THE FELLOWSHIPUp to 100 Rotary Peace Fellows are selected annuallyto earn either a professional development certificatein peace and conflict studies or a master's degree in arange of disciplines related to peace and security. EachRotary Peace Center offers a unique curriculum andfield-based learning opportunities that examine peaceand conflict theory through various frameworks.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship includes:

• Tuition and fees• Room and board• Round-trip transportation• Internship/field study expenses

ELIGIBILITYQualified candidates have:

• For the master's program, a bachelor's degree orequivalent, plus three years of full-time relatedwork experience

• For the certificate program, a strong academicbackground, plus five years of full-time relatedwork experience

• Proficiency in English .• For the master's program, proficiency in a second

language (strongly recommended)• Excellent leadership skills

Contact a local Rotary club to request aclub endorsement. Find a club near you atwww.rotary.org/en/search/club-finder. Clubendorsement is not required for candidates whoalready have support at the district level.

Through the endorsing Rotary club, or aRotary district contact, find out the deadlineto be interviewed and endorsed by the Rotarydistrict. District interviews are required forall candidates. Deadlines for submittingapplications to local districts vary, usuallybetween March and June. The deadline forsubmitting endorsed applications to RotaryInternational is 1 July each year.

Once selected, fellowship recipients must thenapply separately for university admission.
