SUZUKI TOUR 2015
We are pleased to announce the 2015 Suzuki Program Tour to the Hartt Suzuki School in Hartford, CT and New York City. The tour is planned for June 19 – 24, 2015. Students will partner with the Hartt Suzuki program for a concert, home stays and group classes and then travel to New York City for five days packed with concerts and sight-seeing. The approximate cost for the tour is $1500.00.
UPDATE!We are expanding the eligibility for students to participate on the 2015 tour to include students who are entering 8th grade and higher during the 2014-15 academic year. We want to include younger students as well as string students outside of the Chamber Orchestra in order to form a balanced group and to make the trip economically feasible for everyone. All instruments are welcome! Let your teacher know if you are interested. Note that the deadline for registering for the tour is June 30, 2014.
Next steps• We had a tour information meeting on Sunday, June 8th to review the details of the trip itinerary, travel arrangements, cost and payment plan. The tour company we have chosen to work with is Music Celebrations International.• Students will need to commit to going on the tour by June 30, 2014. At that time a non-refundable deposit will be due. Your studio teachers have the tour brochure, registration form and payment details in their studios. These are also available via email.
Questions? Contact Carlynn Savot, Tour Director at [email protected] or Beth Turco, Suzuki Director at [email protected].
