DATES TO REMEMBER

RED CROSS BLOOD MOBILE – will be at Theresa Baptist on Sunday, January 29th from 8:00am – 1:00pm. Please call Bert Sherman (336) 597-4522 to schedule a donor time. Walk-ins will be accepted as well. Don’t forget to use the Rapid Pass and bring your photo ID with you.

BAPTIST MEN’S DAY – will be Sunday, January 29, 2017. Baptist Men and The Men’s Choir will practice on Monday, January 16th and Monday January 23rd. Men (and boys) of all ages are encouraged to come and participate in this day of praise and worship for our Lord. For more details, see Tim Wade.

YOUTH SUPER BOWL PARTY – will be at the home of Jared Phelps on Sunday, February 5th beginning at 5:30pm. Kick-off is at 6:30pm. See a member of Youth Council for what to bring.

FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING – will be Monday night, February 5th at 7:00pm.

CRABB FAMILY CONCERT – We will be taking a group of folks to see the Crabb Family “Back to Our Roots Tour” in Greensboro on Friday, February 10th. The concert will begin at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets will be $20.00 per person. Please contact the church office if interested in going.

2ND CUPID’S CHILI COOKOFF – will be Sunday, February 12th from 11:00am – 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. This will be a youth fund raiser and is open to anyone in the church. See flyer in bulletin.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – We will be doing the same thing for Operation Christmas Child this year that we did in 2016. Each month we will list in the bulletin the items we are collecting. These items may be placed in the box in the corridor leading to the Fellowship Hall. At the end of the year, we will have a packing night when all the boxes will be packed with the items we have collected. In addition, we would like for you to bring in you discarded twist ties off bread products that you use as well as those from trash bags (if you don’t use them). Also, if you eat at KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), please donate the red topped container that sides come in. Please wash the containers before bringing them in. Thanks.
