DescriptionThe Home Supply Unit (HSU) is an indirect air treatment system.
Heat released by, for example, a central heating system, district
heating system or heat pump, is transferred to the air supply
through an intermediate medium (water) in heat coils. The main
advantages of an indirect system are comfort and low energy costs.
The HSU is easy to apply in combination with under fl oor heating
and solar heating along with radiators (to be installed later). This
allows you fl exibility in your choices, which is not the case with
direct (gas) heating systems! Additionally, the self-regulating direct-
current fans only use half the energy used by traditional fans.
FunctionThe Home Supply Unit allows you the possibility to heat your
home effi ciently and comfortably with air treatment. By applying
high effi ciency heat coils, air fi lters, energy saving fans with the
possibility of heat recovery, you choose the optimal comfort for your
indoor climate. In combination with the Heat Recovery Unit (HR-
WTW) you can easily supply clean air whilst discharging impure air.
This allows an ultimate ventilation balance and a clean & healthy
indoor climate as well as ensuring a direct reduction of your energy
costs.
With only one initial investment, the Home Supply Unit defi nitely
offers you triple advantage of heating, ventilation and cooling your
home.
Technical specifi cationsThe HSU is constructed from durable, corrosion-proof and low
maintenance coated materials and is grey in colour - RAL 7035/7036.
The high quality, polished interior is thermally and acoustically
insulated. This material is self-extinguishing and complies with Fire
Classifi cation B1, DIN4102. The HSU has a built in vibration free and
noise reduction fan, which can be adjusted to different speeds.

HR- WTWHIGH EFFICIENCY HEAT RECOVERY
• Thermal effi ciency >90%
• Energy saving of up to 400 m³ gas per year possible
• Balanced ventilation and air purifying
• Comfortable – energy saving – low maintenance
DescriptionThe High Effi ciency Heat Recovery Unit is specifi cally designed
for well balanced ventilation with heat recovery and is perfectly
suited for use in combination with the Home Supply Unit. Optimal
balanced ventilation is created with this combination, which ensures
a healthy and clean indoor climate with minimal energy loss.
FunctionInsulation in buildings and homes has improved which now creates
a necessity for improved ventilation and air quality management.
Of course a good insulated home consumes less energy but also
causes less possibilities for ventilation.
By installing heat absorbing glass, modern insulation materials
and following modern building techniques, houses are constructed
in accordance with the strict Energy Performance Standard (EPN).
Due to these restrictions, humidity levels, dust particles and CO2
emissions will rise higher than the accepted values. It is now
become a necessity for constant ventilation in housing following the
balanced ventilation principle. This principle implies that extracted
and supplied air should be controlled, as specifi ed in NEN 1087.
The HR-WTW utilizes the heat emitted from the impure, extracted air
to warm the clean external air supply. Both airfl ows remain strictly
separated by a cross current converter. This converter transfers 90%
of the warmth which makes the reheating of ventilated air no longer
necessary. Energy savings of approximately 400 m³ gas per year is
possible. In addition, the fresh air is fi ltered (fi lter class G3) to ensure
only clean air is supplied.
Technical specifi cationsThe HR-WTW is constructed from durable, corrosion-proof and low
maintenance coated materials and is grey in colour - RAL 7035/7036.
The high quality, polished interior is thermally and acoustically
insulated. This material is self-extinguishing and complies with Fire
Classifi cation B1, DIN4102. The HR-WTW contains our own energy
saving and noise reduction IMOFA fan.
Standaard Supplied with:• cross fl ow heat exchanger for heat recovery
and condensation discharge
• balanced ventilation
• fi ltering for purifi cation of fresh air supply
• noise reduction, cross current ventilator with
suspended blades
• balanced air dampers for recirculation

DescriptionThe ES-2 reduces energy costs in a very effective way and is
particularly effective in high spaces. Transmission loss results in
escaped energy, for example, through the roof. The ES-2 forces the
rising, heated air back down. This results in a “smaller area” in which
heat is suspended like a warm blanket. The ES-2 provides a direct
contribution to the energy savings in a very effi cient way.
FunctionBy lowering the rising, heated air you directly save energy by
needing less heat. The fi tted thermostat operates the unit when the
set temperature has been reached. The unit only functions, therefore,
when the effective temperature is reached at high level. In addition
to saving energy this system of operation ensures the unit does not
run unnecessarily and reduces humidity. Air is distributed effectively
by way of an adjustable double defl ection outlet grille.
For optimum performance the ES-2 unit should be mounted at a
maximum height of 8 metres.
Technical specifi cationsThe ES-2 is constructed from durable, corrosion-proof and low
maintenance coated panels and is grey colour - RAL 7035; other
colours on request.
Compliance as per the Standards stated in Machine Directive 89/336

DescriptionAir curtains are typically applied in store entrances, hospitals and
public buildings. By using a barrier of warm air, an air curtain
protects building entrances from energy loss, draught, dust and
insects. A properly selected and installed air curtain ensures a
conditioned climate in your store, showroom or restaurant by
preventing your heating or air conditioner from generating energy
bursts whenever visitors enter or leave. Custom made solutions are
available.
FunctionA good airfl ow is essential for the perfect distribution of warmth and
air in the room.
This optimal warmth distribution is attained by the powerful
centrifugal fan-motor and adjustable outlet blade. The advised height
is 2.5 metres. Warm water to be supplied by an external source, such
as a boiler, central distribution network or heat pump. The air curtain
is optimally used in combination with the air heater PC-600.
Technical specifi cationsLG Air Curtains are constructed from durable, corrosion-proof and
low maintenance coated panels in the colour RAL 9016 (white). All
components, including the silent twin centrifugal fans, are securely
built in to the thermally and acoustically insulated casing. The fan
can be adjusted to different speeds
Compliance as per the Standards stated in Machine Directive 89/336
EC (attachment 2B) and the Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC.

DescriptionThe Unit Heater is a classic Thermo Air product. With it’s
characteristic design, this product can be found throughout Europe
and beyond. Ever since the ‘60s these indirectly fi red air heaters
have been installed in storerooms, storage facilities, workshops,
etc. These air heaters are sturdy and fl exible and were designed to
operate reliably over a long lifetime.
No situation is ever the same and therefore the Unit Heater can be
modifi ed to suit client’s diverse needs. All modifi cations and options
are possible. If it’s a supply or return plenum, mixing box, room
thermostat or speed controllers, these air heaters have numerous
possibilities. Even at a later stage, this unit can be easily expanded
to become a complete air handling system. By adding a fi lter, mixing
section, cold water heat exchanger and perhaps a Terminal Box, you
can easily construct a complete system (CLK-range).
FunctionAir direction and speed are essential for optimum heat distribution.
The dual adjustable outlet grille controls air direction. Air speed is
attained by adequate static pressure. These conditions cannot be
reached with a (noisy) axial fan. That is why a silent but powerful
centrifugal fan is used in the Unit Heater. The Unit Heater ensures
optimal heat distribution. Depending on the model, air throw of up
to 30 metres can be attained.
Technical specifi cationsThe Unit Heater is constructed from durable, corrosion-proof and
low maintenance coated panels in a light grey colour (RAL 7035);
other colours are available on request. The components are built in
the high quality, polished casing which is thermally and acoustically
insulated. The silent, low speed IMOFA DD fan provides the required
pressure for a signifi cant airfl ow and bridges the resistance of
an eventual fi lter, mixing box and/or duct system. Because the
maximum capacity is not always required, the fan can be adjusted to
different speeds.
The Unit Heater is available in 3 standard models and various
versions.
Compliance as per the Standards stated in Machine Directive 89/336
EC (attachment 2B) and the Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC.

DescriptionThe UHR direct oil and/or gas fi red warm air heaters are mainly applied
for heating industrial processes. These versatile units are also used for the
heating of warehouses,workshops,showrooms,factories garages, poultry
housing and the furniture industry. The UHR is used globally in spraying
cabinets and drying tunnels for luxury vehicles and yachts.
These units can be used in vertical or horizontal positions due to the
fl exibility of our design. As well as 13 standard models we also supply
customised models to comply with your project and demands.
Because the UHR is oil and/or gas fi red, it can be supplied with or without
a high quality burner. Where your own burner is used, we will supply
a customised securing plate following your specifi cations. Every UHR
can therefore be used with every type of burner. The chromium steel
combustion chambers are supplied by us with a guaranteed long life
expectancy.
FunctionThe chromium steel combustion chamber is heated by fuel from a burner.
The air is heated when the IMOFA circulates the air around the combustion
chamber. The air is then distributed through the room by the air distribution
system. For a more standard application such as setting up directly in the
room, we propose the multi-directional air distribution plenum PL4.
InstallatieThe technical installation of a UHR must be performed by a professional
technician, in accordance with the national and regional standards.
Always install the UHR in a suffi ciently ventilated area.
Technical specifi cationsThe UHR is constructed from durable, corrosion-proof and low maintenance
coated panels in a light grey colour (RAL 7035); other colours are available
on request. The components, including the chromium steel chamber and
centrifugal fan, are built in a welded frame construction. The panels are
thermally and acoustically insulated. Every unit is completely wired and
ready for use. The UHR is available in 13 standard models or customised
models following customer specifi cations.

DescriptionBalanced air management in buildings is beginning to play a much
more important role. That is why ventilation units are used frequently in
hotels, restaurants, offi ce buildings and shopping malls. This series is
specifi cally designed to supply fresh air or to extract stale air.
Due to their construction, these ventilation units can be easily placed in
an indoor environment. The units can be completely made to measure
by using the supplied fi ttings and adapters. This is a stylish and fl exible
product, which can be adapted to any new or existing situation.
The units are produced following three construction types:
• VK cube model
• VKS low profi le for ceiling void installation
• VKT with two fans for large air capacity
Depending on the construction type and model, these standard units can
displace air from 100 to 10.000 m³/h. Customised ventilation units are
available from our LBK-range.
FunctionOur ventilation units are suitable for indoor installation. Because we can
supply the units made to measure, they can be fi tted to every air duct
system. They can be ideally applied in combination with our terminal
boxes type DK. One or two fans can be applied, depending on the air
volume.
Almost all types are equipped with a maintenance switch and/or an
internal 3-step switch or speed controller. This makes it possible to
remotely control the ventilation fl ow.
Technical specifi cationsEvery ventilation unit is constructed of durable galvanised panels.
The components, including the silent centrifugal fan(s), are built
in a welded steel frame construction. The panels are thermally and
acoustically insulated. Also available in a Pentapost style, constructed of
aluminium profi les with pre-coated plating in RAL 7035. The fan is speed
controllable. The ventilation unit is available in three models and various
versions
Compliance as per the Standards stated in Machine Directive 89/336 EC

DescriptionThe air handling cabinet range can be applied in many situations
due to its compact design and low construction height. Thanks
to their modular construction they are quick and easy to produce
and can be adapted if necessary. Every CLK is dependant on the
application, air volume and external resistance and can be selected
with specifi c DD/DS IMOFA fans. The eventual process, whether
fi ltering, heating or cooling, will determine which type of CLK is
appropriate. We specify three models: the FA, LBU and FC. These
units are suitable for air volumes from 400 to 7000 m³/h. Heating,
cooling (cold water or direct expansion), mixing or fi ltering of the
air can all be accommadated. A complete CLK is very easy to install
thanks to our “plug and play” concept. Every unit is supplied ready
for operation, following your specifi c instructions.and can include
fl anges for duct connections, fi tted maintenance switches, speed
controllers, servomotors etc. This means a considerable saving in
the installation time.
TypenThe CLK-range contains the following models and types:
Model Types Air volume (m³/h)
FA 400 600 800 ≈ 400 – 1500
LBU 7 9 10 ≈ 400 – 2400

Energy SavingWith these new generation DDEC high effi ciency fans you never use
more energy than necessary. This brushless direct current motor in
combination with electronic regulation utilises far less energy than
conventional motors. These constant volume fans have a high effi ciency
rating of 70-80% at any speed.
Defi ne the energy saving? See NEN 5128 - NEN 2916.
FunctionFan regulation lowers the speed and torque of the motor to the actual
pressure loss, which causes the low energy usage. In these situations
a conventional motor goes to the working point where the ventilation
curve and system curve cross each other, which results in higher energy
usage.

DescriptionThe importance of a comfortable indoor climate is often
underestimated. As producers of air handling units, we can supply
any concept of air handling and climate control equipment that is
required. Ventilation, heating, cooling, humidifying, dehumidifying
and heat recovery are some of these possibilities.
For heat recovery we utilise high effi ciency cross fl ow heat
exchanger, twin coil systems, heat wheels and heat pipes. Also
possible is StatiqCooling, a new energy saving method of cooling
with water without a cooling machine.
Every air handling unit can be assembled according to your wishes,
without being bound to measurements. Our staff will be happy to
inform you of the possibilities.
Air volume, process, external resistance, fi lters, dimensions, sound,
energy use etc. will all be taken into consideration to help you make
your fi nal choice.
To realise this, we at Thermo Air, have designed three construction
types to produce air handling units for every process.
A. Welded frame- construction
B. Pentapost- construction
C. Sandwich panel-construction
Every construction method has its own specifi c application areas.
As standard, we have designed a number of modules with which we
can build up our air handling units. The process determines which
construction method and module should be applied.
With these models and dimensions, we can provide you with any
type of airhandling unit you require. Given its air volume and
matching dimensions, the 30SP type is a speciality product that is
only available on request.
• Air volume from 100 to 100.000 m³/h
• Cooling / heating / heat recovery / humidifying / mixing /
ventilation
• Customised according to your specifi cations

Construction types
A. Welded frame-constructionConstructed of a fully welded frame with single walled or
double walled insulated plating. Sendzimir galvanised plating
material is applied as standard. Available in pre-coated
colours such as RAL 9010, 9001, 7035, other colours available
on request. This construction method is frequently used for
ventilation and industrial heating processes such as spraying
cabinets or oil/gas fi red air heaters.
The welded frame construction guarantees you a robust
and sturdy air handling unit. A signifi cant advantage of this
construction type is the availability of practical modules. This
construction is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.
B. Aluminum pentapost-constructionAluminium angle profi le with single or double walled
insulated plating, with an insulation width of 20 to 50 mm. The
galvanised steel plating material is supplied standard in the
colour RAL 7035. It is also available in pre-coated panels in
the colours RAL 9010 and 9001 or customer specifi c colours.
This construction type has been chosen by us because of its
high quality and fast production time. It is suitable for use in
all processes for climate control. With its modular structure
the pentapost construction is of appealing design which
makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor installation.
LBK - CONCEPT
C. Self supporting sandwich-constructionCompletely manufactured from self supporting sandwich
panels (with a standard width of 40 mm). This construction
type is suitable for larger air volumes and dimensions, as well
as special application ranges. The self supporting PIR/PUR
panels have a closed cel structure and are galvanised on both
sides with an RAL 7035 polyester coating. Other colours are
available on request.
All sandwich panel constructed units are single, complete
units. They are therefore applied in the larger and more
complex air handling units. Sandwich panels are available in
various panel widths.
Their robust and deluxe design can be attributed from the
UNP-profi le mounting, the high inusulation degree and the
stainless steel protection profi les.

Thermo Air is an internationally known specialist in the design
and production of mobile air handling equipment. Various
large companies that supply global temporary solutions for
power, cooling and climate control make use of our products.
Signifi cant EventsOur speciality is providing made to measure solutions for temporary
situations. Imagine the air conditioning units that are required for
large or signifi cant events. For example, Golf Tournaments, Grand
Prix, The Olympic Games, World Summits, World Cup or European
Cup Soccer and Film Studios. Without realizing it, you have probably
already come in contact with our Fan Coil or other mobile units.
Everything is customisedThere is no standard product for these solutions: everything
is customised. After all, every customer has his own specifi c
requirements: special casing, various hoisting features and complete
electronic regulation. From small units that speed up during
applause in a hall, to 20 ft. sea containers that are adapted to air
handling units. These units all have one thing in common: they all
work with the “plug & play” concept. Ultimately, these units must be
operational as soon as possible.

DescriptionHeat Exchangers are used in our own air handling products but
can also be applied in various other situations (for example built
into ducting). The special design ensures a maximum heat transfer.
Standard models are constructed of copper tubing and aluminium
fi ns in a galvanised steel frame. Coils can be supplied partly or
completely coated. We also supply built in electric elements (on
request).
Thanks to special software, we can select the correct coils to meet
customer specifi cations. The possible selections are cold or warm
water, steam and of course all available refrigerants such as R22,
R407C, R410A, R134A etc. Coils are also available in other materials
such as copper, aluminium, copper nickel, stainless steel and
combinations of these materials with eventual coating. Our standard
models have a fi n spacing of 2.54 mm but this can be customised on
request.
