Eastman Black History Oratorical Contest

Students must apply to the university by the November 1st application deadline to be considered. After completing the UTK application and being admitted to the university, qualified students will be invited via email to apply for the Chancellor’s Honors Program, which will require an additional essay question due December 1st. Students will also have to complete the UT scholarship application by December 1st. Your D-B Counselors recommend that you apply by October 1st to be prepared to apply for the Chancellor’s Honors Program application.

Chancellor’s Honors Program:

Applicants must apply to the university by November 1st. They must complete the application found on the Haslam Scholars website, http://honors.utk.edu/haslam-scholars/apply/, by November 15th, and they must complete the UT Scholarship application by December 1st. Your D-B Counselors recommend that you apply by October 1st to be prepared to apply for the Haslam Scholars Program application.

Fine & Performing Arts Scholars Program

In-state students (and Border County students) who are admitted to the FPA Program are eligible to receive a scholarship covering full tuition and fees for four years of study.

University Honors Scholars Program

Honors admission requirements: (1) an overall high school GPA of 3.5 or above, on a 4.0 unweighted scale; (2) an ACT score of 29 or above (or, SAT score of 1280 or above, based on math and reading scores); (3) demonstration of community and school service, and other leadership activities; and, (4) a commitment to pursue a four-year baccalaureate degree at ETSU. The program is open to all majors. 

Students receive a full scholarship for four years of study (covering tuition and most fees, room and board, and a textbook allowance each semester).University Honors Scholars Program applications are due by 

DECEMBER 15, 2015, for admission in Fall 2016.

Elks National Foundation Scholarship - Most Valuable
