Ran Xia is grateful beyond words for her collaborators. YOU made this possible! Interdisciplinary artist and storyteller based in NYC, Visual: Art Takes Times Square, Stories of the Creative, and Art Takes Miami (SEE.ME), Dacia Gallery Art Show (Times Square Arts Centre), and Spiegel Me (Installation at Fountains Foundation, Columbia College, Chicago). Ran is drawn to the nature, the romantics of both arts and science, and stories with non-linear timelines. ranxia.see.me Claudia Toth is a lighting designer, stage manager, and performer based in New York City. She has been able to work with such theaters as Axial Theatre, The Brick, Dramatic Adventure Theatre, Eastbound Theatre, The Ridgefield Theater Barn, Vacant Lot Theater, YOLO Productions, and others. Lighting design credits include All My Sons (Winner of the 2013 IMEA award for Best Lighting Design of a Play), Swell, La Donna Improvvisata, Blame it on Beckett, and Animals out of Paper. She also regularly performs improv with her troupe, Gnome Necessary. Samples of her work may be found at www.claudiatoth.com. Adam Fontana has recently been seen in various new play readings around the city as well as the short film "Sal and the Goon" currently hitting local film festivals. His past credits include Civil War (Nat'l Tour & Off-B'way), Next to Normal (Hangar Theatre), The Shape of Things, Ragtime, Big Love. Adam loves working on new pieces, creating characters and breathing life into unfamiliar stories. "Happiness is only real when shared," and Adam couldn't be more excited to share this thoughtful and vibrant new work with you. Erika Vetter is an NYC actor from Colorado, where she attained her BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. Past credits include As You Like It (Celia), A Month In The Country (Vera), and Dancing at Lughnasa (Rose). She is beyond grateful to this team for showing her a new kind of creativity, and to her family both near and far for the extraordinary support. Amy Handra is thrilled to be performing in another Ran Xia play at Dixon Place! Amy holds a BFA in Acting from Wright State University and an MFA in Acting from The University of Alabama. Austin Jennings Boykin is thrilled to join 'They Lived In The Attic.' New York credits include Sleep No More, Richard II (Gallery Players,) Turtleback High (Secret Theatre,) and Chasing Heroes (Manhattan Rep.) Regionally, he has worked on The Normal Heart (Provincetown Theater,) Pericles (Shakespeare & Company,) and The Chagall Project (Double Edge Theatre.) Film / TV includes Poisoned Passions and David R. Ellis's 'Asylum.' Training: William Esper, UNCSA. Thanks to family, friends, and HP. Chelsea LeSage is thrilled to be joining the cast of They Lived In The Attic. She was recently seen in Messages with Gorilla Repertory Theatre. Favorite roles: Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dreamwith Gorilla Rep, Henry V(title role) with Creatively Independent in Remscheid, Germany (Rotations Theater), Olivia in Twelfth Night (Stag and Lion), Hamlet (title role) with CI (MAC), and the Witch in Into the Woods(Barrington Stage Company). BFA Marymount Manhattan College.www.chelsealesage.com Nicholas Lazzaro is happy to be working with Ran Xia in “They Lived in the Attic”. He has performed with New Cockpit Ensemble as Greener in “Greener” and the Mutant in “Godforsaken Pink” and Prince Kal in the “Adventures Of…”. He also likes to help create new characters in works such as “The Making of Free Verse” as Joshua, and the role of Man in “Stiletto Divinity”. Movement is also passion of his, and was cast as fire spinning technocrat in Caravan Stage Company’s “Vanishing Currents”. Nick looks froward to more adventures on and off stage, and welcomes everyone joining this performance. Ian Prince Originally from Maryland; studied English and Theater at St. Mary's College of Maryland. After graduation he lived in Japan for three years teaching English where he was apprentice to a master of Kyogen theater. His theater experience includes acting, directing, and writing multiple plays which have gone on to receive honors and publication. Ian recently moved to New York City and looks forward to working with everyone again in the future and keep an eye out for him at stand up comedy shows! He is currently an ensemble member of The Heights Players production of The Graduate.
