Throwing a dime into Attack Theatre’s jukebox of images and ideas, Site/Re-site creates a landscape of gadgets, widgets, sonic diversity and kinetic wonderment. This performance event features Attack Theatre’s signature highly charged theatrical dance combined with live music from four different bands.

Songwriters Spotlight Series September 25, 8:00 pm

Hosts Joe Grushecky and Rick Witkowski pull together the talents of Tom Breiding, Heather Kropf and Anthony Rankin for an intimate evening of music—pop, folk, soul-driven rock and roll—and some extraordinary spontaneous collaborations. All five will perform selections of their original music, tell the story of how the songs were born and share a song they wish they had penned.

Quantum Theatre continues its 20th Anniversary Season with a new play by Andrew Bovell, the author of Speaking in Tongues. Seven people trapped in patterns of love, betrayal and the secrets of their pasts. Bewildered, abandoned, in a constant downpour, they share a story that stretches from a claustrophobic London flat in 1959 to the coast of southern Australia in 2039. Bovell weaves When the Rain Stops Falling as an intricate fabric of overlapping connections, mysteries and revelations.

This family epic stars Robin Abramson, Bridget Connors, Daina Michelle Griffith, Daniel Krell, Nicholas Lehane, Zachary Nading, Mary Rawson, John Shepard and Philip Winters.

This unique adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow written by FJ Hartland and directed by Mark Calla, weaves Washington Irving’s classic tale in with children telling ghost stories. Written in 1820, the story focuses on the conflict between city and country, and between brains and brawn. Irving’s humor and ability to create vivid descriptive imagery shine throughout the performance.

A holiday comedy for the whole family! Henry Horatio Hobson, widower and boot shop proprietor, is much incensed at the ‘general increase of uppishness’ amongst his three daughters. Relations take a turn for the worse when he accuses eldest daughter Maggie of being past the marrying age. Maggie promptly retaliates by marrying Hobson’s best boot maker, Will Mossop, and turning this shy, illiterate laborer into a substantial business rival to Hobson. Hobson disowns the entire family, but can he live without them? Directed by Andrew S. Paul and starring Canadian legend Michael Ball as Hobson, this performance also features Simon Bradbury and Derdriu Ring.Venue: The Charity Randall
