The ABS, the most sophisticated system in the scooter market, has been developed with Continental. It’s a 3 channels system able to manage every single wheel individually, modulating the braking force preventing tyre skidding.

The ASR uses the sensors of the ABS system and intervenes when it detects an excessive rear wheel speed to prevent wheel spin, especially on slippery surfaces or on conditions that can cause sudden slippage of the rear wheel. The system applies a torque to the rear wheel lower than the torque requested by the rider to restore safe conditions. ASR may be disabled from a button on the handlebars.

The eco mode acts on the mapping of the ECU and sets the parameters to lower the consumption compared to the performance. The ECO is set with the vehicle with the engine idling by pressing the button “START”. With the function activated, the message “ECO” is displayed on the instrument panel. To return to the standard driving mode, press the start button “START” until the message “ECO” is disappeared.
