What is it?

Thinking Cleaner is an add-on for your Roomba® that makes it smarter and aware of it’s owner.It enables Roomba to adapt to your life by starting a cleaning cycle when you leave the house, when it fits your calendar or when you remote trigger it. This way Roomba can clean autonomously.

Thinking Cleaner adds wifi capabilties so it can connect to your home or office network. With the freely available app or web interface, the Roomba can be remotely controlled or scheduled.

Being connected to the internet Roomba can also notify you on specific events. So when Roomba has finished cleaning or when it is time to empty the bin, you will receive a push notification or email.

Setting up Thinking Cleaner is very easy.

Follow the instructions on the packaging for installing the module and the new Roomba faceplate.

Launch the app or website and follow instructions for connecting Roomba to your wireless network.

Select the services you wish to use and your are done.

Web appInside the Thinking Cleaner runs a simple accessable website. This site enables any device with an internet browser to connect to the Thinking Cleaner. On the main page you can directly control your Roomba, see the battery status and the next scheduled time.Our schedules are also available on Roomba’s with no timer option.

Thinking Sync ServersTo make it easy for you to connect to your Thinking Cleaner from all over the world we have setup special Thinking Sync servers. Your Thinking Cleaner has safe access to the Sync server and you can access our Sync server with your smartphone or laptop and see the status of the Thinking cleaner and send commands to it. Of course the Sync access is password protected.

HomeAutomation

Home automation, Care and Office useThe Thinking Cleaner can be connected to your home automation system. There are some plugins available for popular home automation systems.

For other systems there is a “json” api available. We can provide you with all information to make your own link to the Thinking Cleaner. With this information IT specialists in the care or office environment can easily make their own plugin or app for their system.

Company informationThinking Bits was originally founded in 1994 to develop control software, management software and firmware for existing hardware devices in the professional broadcast, TV production and film industries. In 1997 the company changed the organisational structure and added their ownhardware design, production and manufacturing of small specific products for the generic media industry. In 2010 the company broadened their market by designing games, household and generic industry hard and software add-ons for OEM vendors and started developing products under their own brand-names.
