We are in need of Oatmeal (the boxes with individual packets) and canned soup. One box of oatmeal and one can of soup per family will go a long way to helping fill our food boxes. A special THANK YOU to Ralph’s and the Los Osos Pet Store for donating boxes to our food pantry. POINSETTIAS AT CHURCH – We decorate our Sanctuary with poinsettias before and during Christmas. Purchase a plant through the church for $12 and dedicate it to anyone you choose. Take it home after Christmas to enjoy year-round. Forms available at the Information Center in the narthex. ALL CHURCH CLEANING PARTY!! Saturday, 10/28 & 11/4 9:00AM – 12:00 noon

It’s time for a much needed Deep Cleaning at TUMC! Please join the Trustee Committee for one or both of these Saturday mornings to help “spruce up” the Social Hall, Kitchen and Sanctuary. We’ll have fun together vacuuming, polishing, scrubbing (sweating! ☺) and snacking, too – donuts will be served! Come help make our facility sparkling clean in time for the holidays. We’ll work on the Social Hall and Kitchen on 10/28, and on the Sanctuary on 11/4.

Sign up on the poster in the narthex.

Heifer International Giving December 1 – 31

Social Hall Heifer International (also known as Heifer Project International) is a global nonprofit working to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable, values-based holistic community development. Heifer distributes animals, along with agricultural and values-based training, to families in need around the world as a means of providing self-sufficiency.

Stop by the display in the Social Hall for information on how you can donate to Heifer International.

Sharing a Bit of Home December 24

Once again we are collecting homemade Christmas goodies which Pastor G will deliver on Christmas morning to the Fire and Sheriff’s stations for those who will be spending Christmas away from their families to serve our community. Help bring a taste of home to our First Responders. Goodies may be dropped off at the church on Sunday, December 24.
