THE HOLY FATHER’S PRAYER INTENTIONS FOR MARCH: Catholics in China: that the Church in China persevere in faithfulness to the Gospel and grow in unity. CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Please read AND KEEP the leaflet included with this Newsletter giving details of precautions we can reasonably take. It is impossible to avoid all potential hazards, but we must all do what we can. We do not yet have advice on what to do about Holy Week ceremonies; Ritual Masses and all events that bring together a larger number of people. For now we continue all visiting and pastoral ministry as is prudent, and public worship as is possible. PLANNED GIVING BY ENVELOPE: New boxes of envelopes for the year from April will be available for collection next week-end. Because of Data Protection law we have had to change the way in which we distribute the boxes. You will no longer be able to “help yourself”. Now a parish representative will ask for your name and the first line of your current address. They will then hand your box to you. As this new process will take little more time, we would ask for your patience and goodwill. Boxes are also ready for collection for those who requested them during the recent planned giving drive. Please also consider again the practicality of taking out a Standing Order - if this is possible it is far the bestway to do planned giving.

40 DAYS FOR LIFE/ EALING ABORTION CENTRE: As you may be aware there is a 40 Days for Life Lent Campaign outside the Buffer Zone (PSPO) around the Marie Stopes abortion centre in Ealing (nearest station, Ealing Broadway). TO JOIN THE VIGIL MEET ON THE GREEN BETWEEN MATTOCK LANE AND BOND STREET, EALING, TO AVOID BREAKING THE BUFFER ZONE [See map attached]. During 40 Days for Life campaigns 16,742 babies have been saved from abortion, 106 abortion centres have closed Down and 196 abortion workers have quit their jobs. We still need people to join us each day between 8am and 8pm. Can you come for just one hour week until Palm Sunday? Contact Sarah 07776 256838 or email [email protected] to let us know what times you can attend.
