Reiki Master-TeacherIt is the goal of the Reiki Master Teacher to live a daily life in Divine Light. The newlyAttuned Reiki Master Teacher will begin to experience the Universal Life Force as anatural part of their life along with being deeply and spiritually guided. With eachAttunement, there is a larger release of the density acquired throughout the student's lifeallowing the capacity to hold a higher level of energy. This density release also allowsfor heightened intuition, increased clarity and focus, a heightened awareness to others'energy and a greater sense of peace and love.

The Third Degree of Reiki is a complete educational package. There are two parts tothis Third Degree of Reiki:

~Receiving the final two symbols, the Master level of Reiki, along with the thirdAttunement; and

~Learning how to teach Reiki to others.

While a third degree Reiki student is not required to teach, it is advised that youcomplete the teaching portion as there is still a large amount of vital information here tobe attained. Also, this is a great way to truly absorb the information given as well asbuilding confidence in your own practice.

REIKI LEVEL ONE REVIEW

Reiki means “Universal Life Force”.A more literal translation for Rei is Source, Universal, the Divine or the gift. Ki istranslated as vital energy or force. Over time, the translation that has developed isUniversal Life Force. We are alive because life force energy flows within us.Disruptions in this energy causes diminished energy, aches and pains and even illness ordisease. Reiki re-charges the energy, as it has an intelligence of its own. Reikistimulates the body's own innate wisdom to heal an issue/problem at its source.

A Brief History of ReikiReiki originated by a man named Mikao Usui who was born in Japan in 1864 and diedin 1926. It was said that he was a Christian monk, but there is no evidence of that inJapan. Usui was a businessman who was no longer pleased with his life and his failedbusiness. In meditation, Usui asked for something more important in life that worldlypossessions. On the 21st day of his meditation at one of the power sites on Mt Kurama,energy rushed through the top of his head, and Usui had a flash of insight orenlightenment. On the last day, Dr. Usui has a spiritual experience envisioning thesymbols and believed that he had just been giving the sacred tools used by the originalhealers Jesus and Buddha.

Chujiro Hayashi became a student of Usui's, and the next Grand Master. It is he whodeveloped the class structure for teaching Reiki. Hayashi divided the information intothree levels. One of Hayashi's students, Hayayo Takata, opened a clinic in Hawaii.Takata has been given repeated credit for the spread of Reiki throughout the world byteaching in Canada, Europe and the United States. Although she only taught the MasterLevel to 22 students, she helped to bring Reiki into our present time.

How Reiki Is Different From Other Healing ModalitiesThe primary difference between Reiki and other modalities is that Reiki asks that youturn this healing over to Spirit, Source, the Divine or Universal Life Force. Anothermajor difference in the different modalities, is touch itself. Lastly, but most importantly,is the Attunement. The receiver of the Attunement is given nothing new. TheAttunement offers a sacred initiation as a moment of crossing from one time of life andinto another. As the Reiki energy and the sacred symbols enter each individual, there is arelease of old burdens to the receiver.


Three Degrees of Reiki TrainingThe First Degree focuses on the physical healing along with self healing. Wemust firstcleanse, balance and heal ourselves. The Attunement is what turns on the power ofReiki. Through the Attunement, the aura and chakras have their first cleansing release.This degree opens the student to the vast array of ideas in utilizing Reiki.The Second Degree focuses on healing at the mental and emotional level. ThroughReiki Two, we heal past lives, assist with addictions and assist in clearing negativethought patterns. We learn and practice in this training, distance healing. The Studentwill also be given three of the five symbols. The student then receives the secondAttunement, a deeper level of cleansing release.The Third Degree focuses on the overall health and healing on the Spiritual Soul leveland the teaching of Reiki. We are literally turning the work over to the Divine, Source,our Guides or the Highest Intelligence. The student receives the third Attunement.During this training, the student will learn how to teach the three degrees, along with theAttunement to others. The student will now commit this life to the highest good.

AttunementsThe Reiki Attunement is a sacred spiritual initiation that connects the student withhigher levels of consciousness and the unlimited source of healing energy. It isimportant to know that an Attunement gives you nothing new. It is simply an initiationthat opens the door to the capabilities you already have.

GroundingStaying grounded is a conscious connection with the earth. Emerging science hasrevealed that direct contact with the ground allows a person to receive an energyinfusion from the earth. Being grounded is so very important while doing Reiki as itactually completes the circuit.

Energy Flows Where Intention Goes So Create YourDaySince every thought we have has its own electrical charge, every thought is then matter,which is a substance. Matter can only be transformed, not created or destroyed. Byproxy, thoughts are in fact matter, and can only be transformed. With thoughts orfeelings of guilt or anger, you will create more negative matter than positive, leaving asluggish vibration around you. But if you have thoughts and feelings of unconditionallove, you will be creating a positive field around you with the highest and lightestvibrations. So transform your energy by changing your thinking.


Ethics and PermissionALWAYSask permission before you proceed in sending Reiki. There are multiple waysto seek permission to do a healing session:1. Simply ask them directly, either face-to-face or on the phone.2. Ask the client intuitively. So ask them in your mind, and listen quietly for a moment.Youmay get your answer through words, a feeling, or an image in your mind's eye. It isonly when a person accepts the energy, that creates the powerful exchange of energy. Apersons participation enhances that exchange. Also, it is not ethical to place your handson anyone's groin or on a woman's breasts. Ask permission to place your hands on awoman's heart center because it is between her breasts. Respect your client's boundaries.

LoveRemember that when you fill yourself with the vibration of Unconditional Love, this iswhat your sending into your Reiki client! Again, your religion doesn't change the factthat God in all religions equates to Love.

Reiki Self Healing 21 Day Cleansing CycleWhen you receive a Reiki Attunement, it is suggested that you commit to a 21 daycleansing cycle. Your physical body will begin to purge old negative patterns andemotions from your cellular memory to accommodate this new vibration with the Reikiflowing through you. The cleansing cycle begins when the Attunement ends. You arethen assisted on a journey. This journey lasts for 21 days. During these 21 days, youshould Reiki yourself and meditate every day for at least 15 minutes and just notice.Meditation along with Reiki will help to bring up and help clear any issues that arepreventing wellness or standing in the your way. It is important here during meditatingto visit and actually feel old or possibly stuck emotions that come up in order to releasethem.

Daily Reiki Healing with Meditation:Standing or sitting in a comfortable position, first take three long and slow deep breathsto center yourself. Next ground yourself. To do this, imagine in your minds eye smallroots growing from the bottoms of your feet or the base of your spine, whichever istouching the floor. Once attached, feel the energy of the earth flowing up through yourgrounding chords and into your entire being.Then breathe. Breathe in the positive energy, light, and love through your roots andbreathe out any negativity or tension within. Once you feel the energy of the earth fillingyou, imagine your crown opening and allow the light of sky to come in through yourcrown. Breathe in this loving energy and fill yourself with it. Once you've completed


the circuit of love and light from above and the energy of the earth below, set anintention for this meditation. Then begin your self Reiki starting with your crown.Continue to Reiki each chakra all the way down to the root chakra.

Reiki Healing CrisisAfter receiving Attunement, it has been reported by some that difficulties in life begin tocome up and are sometimes accompanied by negative feelings. Understand that thesestressors indicate a deeper level healing that is taking place. It's called the “healingcrisis.” When one begins to truly heal their lives, oftentimes many parts of their liveswere connected to the original issue in one way or another. Understand that when anissue begins to heal, there is a major reorganization that's required which causes the flowof energy to be disrupted in areas other than where the symptoms existed.

REIKI LEVEL TWO REVIEW

Why SymbolsThe symbols have come from ancient histories of Japan, Tibet and India. They havebeen considered the Five Steps Toward Spiritual Enlightenment as Usui was giving thevision of these symbols during his mystical meditation experience on a sacred mountainin Kyoto, Japan. Until recent times, they were guarded and kept secret because theywere considered sacred. These symbols are keys or triggers that activate a much higherand more refined energy transfer with escalating intensity of the electrical vibration.Each symbol has its own path, vibration and function.

Using SymbolsWhen starting out using the symbols, try to commit them to memory. And as youmemorize them, try to feel each one individually. Feeling them is just as important aslearning them. Once you've felt their energy and the power surge from them, decide orask for guidance on different uses for them and in whatever way feels the mostcomfortable for you. You can use their name as a mantra over and over again out loudor in your mind. You can draw or envision them in the auric field above the client ordeep within them. You could also empower any goal or objective on paper with thissymbol drawn on it and deliver Reiki to it periodically. Make sure to also put the desiredoutcome on any goal your are empowering.

Also, when using symbols, remember that symbols have many variations due to the way


you've learned the symbol, different writing techniques and memory. So please do notlet not remembering the symbol exactly or correctly deter you from using it. Draw it tothe best of your ability or chant its name and remember that it's clear and pure intent thatactivates it, so don't worry about it, and use each anyway.

Cho Ku Rei - The Power Symbol(Cho – curving sword; Ku – to penetrate in; Rei – Universal Life Force)

This symbol originates from the land of Tibet. It can either be drawn clockwise orcounterclockwise. This symbol's focus and purpose is for health and healing at thephysical level. The first three chakras tend to be centered on the physical componentsof life, but this symbol can be used over the entire body.

The Cho Ku Rei is used as a generator to increase the power and strength of the healingenergy being accessed. This symbols resembles the Tesla Coil, a modern day machineused to generate electricity, developed by a scientist names Tesla.

One would use this symbol to increase depleted or sluggish energy felt in any area of theclients body. The Cho Ku Rei generates and increases the highest vibration of Love. Itis a great protective energy also when we are fearful.

Remember that it is your intention that activates this symbol.

Draw the symbol with your finger, imagine the symbol in light and place where needed,or chant the name of this symbol for any and all uses. You could also empower any goalor objective on paper with this symbol drawn on it and deliver Reiki to it periodically.

Be sure to spend some time meditating on this and all symbols so that you can feel them.Feeling them will direct you to where to use them. Use this power symbol to bless orenergize your food, water, supplements, plants, animals, your land, the universe. Thepossibilities are endless.

Sei He Kei Page - The Mental/Emotional Symbol(Sei-State; He- Base Chakra; Kei- Balance)

While Cho Ku Rei vibrates in the physical realm, Sei He Kei vibrates in the emotionalrealm. This symbol balances brain function and increases a sense of harmony. Besimply reminded by the word emotion, E is for electricity and motion. In order to livein a healthy state, it's a must for emotions to move and flow.

This symbol of emotions works on any type of dis-ease that has a mental/emotionalcause. It is from old pain, disappointments, trauma, shame or stuck emotions that illnessoriginates from. Sei He Kei will help to bring to the surface and release themental/emotional causes at its source. It moves the energy from negative to positive orenergy from a low vibration to a higher vibration.

Use this symbol to clear and release all negativity of emotions at their source. As italigns and cleanses the chakras, it can be used to clear anything.Ex. anger, fear, distress, depression, etc. It is healing on the emotional level of theunconscious to make room for light to flow through. Bring the electrical force back tomovement and flow for the greatest healing to manifest within us. Also, remember thatit is intention that activates this symbol.

Draw the symbol with your finger, imagine the symbol in light and place where needed,or chant the name of this symbol for any and all uses. You could also empower any goalor objective on paper with this symbol drawn on it and deliver Reiki to it periodically.

Spend time meditating on this and all symbols so that you can feel them. This willdirect you to where to use this for anything emotional in nature.


Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen - The Distance Healing, Healing ThePast Symbol(Hon – Center Essence; Sha- Shimmering; Ze – Advancing its course; Sho – Target,honest being; Nen – Stillness)

The meaning of this symbol is that there are no limits to time and space. It literallymeans “No past, no present, no future.” Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen simply reminds us that theuniverse has no limits and we can be given access to the records of all thought. Thiscollection of all thought energy is called the Akashic Records. This symbol may testyou in processing the unlimited system of the Infinite Intelligence. As you movethrough life, you can “prepare” your future with this symbol.

Remember when we learned about energy - we learned that thought is matter. Sothought matter cannot be created or destroyed and it remains as a denseness or lightnessin our aura.

Use this third symbol to send Reiki across any distance and across time. You can usedistance healing symbol to send Reiki to a person's time or experience in the past, to pastlives, as well as into the future. With this symbol your programming the electricalvibration or rhythm to the receiver across any distance.

An example of this would be to send Reiki to a person before a surgery to clear theenergy path within them to promote Divine healing, during a surgery to the room andsituation which people working on a person so that they may all do their job flawlessly,and to the person after the surgery so that their body may continue the healing process init's Divine state of self healing. It is your intent that activates the energy symbol andyour intuition that gives you the instruction for the situation. Quietly ask for guidanceand trust/accept that the first thing that comes into your mind as Divine guidance. Thissymbol alone will heighten our intuition simply by expanding our awareness beyond oldlimits.

It is also important to remember that sending Reiki to a person is very different fromsending Reiki to a situation. Always receive permission from the receiver before doingReiki. If you cannot for whatever reason receive permission from all involved, such asthe example above, Reiki the situation. Hopefully you've gotten the permission of thereceiver, but maybe not the other participants in the room. Remember, this is where youwould Reiki the experience or situation. Understand that there is a difference.


Also, try to commit this symbol to memory by putting each part of the name to each partof the symbol. There are five parts in each so try to see if that helps. If this is difficultfor you, please do not let this stop you from using the symbol. Remember that a sincereand clear intent will activate the energy even if your symbol is not in it's perfect form.


REIKI LEVEL THREE TRAINING

The Dai Ko Myo (pronounced Die Koo Me-o)The Dai Ko Myo originated in Tibet and is actually the most powerful and most important ofeach of the symbols, as it creates a noticeably stronger connection channel between thephysical self and the Higher Self. This symbol vibrates right to the heart of one's soul orspiritual body. It is with the Dai Ko Myo that you are essentially going to the root source orcause of the illness or disease which has originated first in the emotional body. This symbolvibrates and passes completely beyond the physical world, serving to alter the origin of thediscomfort.

Remember that illness or disease rarely originates in the physical realm, and in most instances,only appears in the physical body after dwelling for quite some time in the energetic field oremotional being of the person. When a person continues to carry with them negative or lowenergy thoughts such as guilt or shame, is when the thought matter progresses as a dense andthick energy in the physical body. This generally appears much later as discomfort, illness ordisease, but it could also happen rather quickly depending on the severity of the negativity.

Just as the genes of each of out parents creates our eye color, the Dai Ko Myo actuallytransmits the Attunement into the student. It is essentially transmitted through the Master-Teach into the student. Since the Dai Ko Myo travels to the very core of the Soul, so too doesthe Attunement.

This is the symbol that is in fact perfect for every situation and it's also perfect for every personhealing on a Soul level. So if you are ever not sure which symbol to use in any given healing,the Dai Ko Myo used first, will empower all other symbols used.

Take the time to draw, and feel the symbol, then stand and write it in the air. With each ofthese symbols, memorize and FEEL it. This will give you guidance for it as well as yourintuition will improve.


The Raku (pronounced Rah Koo)

The Raku is a symbol about true enlightenment, or the acceptance of becoming thefastest and lightest illuminating vibration of energy while still in the dense physicalbody. This symbol represents a tremendous amount of energy of Light, entering thestudent like a lightening bolt during a storm, to essentially build the fire within. Its thefire that brings the body to life and directs the natural energy channels within.

The Raku serves to complete the connection circuit from the body to the earth, furthergrounding your energy. This symbol is not a healing symbol and is only to be used forAttunements. The Raku will also assist the Master- Teacher to disconnect from thestudent's energy field once the Attunement is complete.

Take the time to draw, and feel the symbol, then stand and write it in the air.Use your intuition.


The Advanced Chakra DiagramEach of our chakras are spinning wheels of electrical movement, spinning and blendinginto the next chakra. They could be considered energy generators as they have aninward movement as well as an outward movement of energy, as well as a positive andnegative charge. Because of the nature of these spinning wheels of cone-like energymoving in both directions, we are a constant participant with the universe, both in thegiving and the receiving of energy.

Each of our chakras generate its own layer of the aura which correspond to itsfunctioning purpose. Considering the physical body is the most dense, the layer of theaura that is closest to our bodies is also the part of the aura that is the most dense andshown in darker colors. As the aura's energy expands outward, its density decreases,and it's color becomes lighter and more iridescent.

The first chakra or root chakra, is located at the base of the spine and has an outward anddownward movement of energy with a positive charge. Its through the energy of thefirst chakra that grounding occurs to complete the circuit of the body to the earth. Thisenergy focuses on the physical health on a cellular level.

The second chakra, or sacral chakra has a negative charge with an inward flow ofenergy. This chakra is the flow of creative and feeling energy as well as sexuality andprocreation. This chakra is said to be the seat of our emotions.

The third chakra, the solar plexus chakra functions as a positive outward charge ofenergy dealing with our will, thoughts and opinions that we express to the outside world.This chakra deals with individuality and the core of who we are.

The fourth chakra or heart chakra's energy moves in an inward energy motion, notoutward. Although society has been programmed that we must first help or love othersbefore ourselves, this is incorrect. This energy center is an intake energy center.Remember the old saying, “You cannot pour from an empty cup?” So true this is. Youcannot possibly be of use to anyone if you've depleted all of your energy giving. Youmust first take care of you in order to be able to give even more to others. This energycenter serves as a bridge between the first three more physical, earth based energycenters and the upper three, more non-physical energy centers.

The fifth chakra or throat chakra has an outward flow and is connected with speaking.It's the verbal expression of our own personal truth. The throat chakra also serves as aconnection or bridge between our thoughts from the brain and feelings from the heart.


The sixth chakra or third eye chakra's energy is an intake center. Most think that this isan outward energy center, but remember that the way we develop our intuition orguidance is by compiling the information we are receiving a through a gentle andinward flow from the universe; hence an intake center.

The seventh chakra or crown chakra is positively charged and an output centerfunneling energy upward toward the heavens. Notice that both the first and the seventhchakras are outward energy centers, connecting us both to the earth as well as theheavens in a complete circuit. We really are one with ALL.

Treating CancerWhen you begin to look at the world and everything around us as energy, you'll see thatenergy as LOVE or the LACK OF LOVE. This tends see things in a different manner tobring about a better understanding of things such as cancer in our world. Remember thatit's our thoughts and emotions holding negative energy for long periods of time thatcreates aches and pains, in our lives, and if held long enough, manifests into illness ordisease.

Cancer manifests from negative, heavy, dark or dense energy in our emotions. Thelonger we hold these LACK OF LOVE thoughts or feelings, the denser they become.Guilt, shame and feelings of self-loathing are all of these things; negative, dense, darkand heavy energy that are consistently held in our thoughts or emotions will eventuallymanifest in the physical body.

Any type of illness or cancer feeds on dark, dense feelings with low vibrations such asself-loathing and guilt. Send LOVE into the disease. It cannot survive when beingconsistently filled with the lightest vibration of love. The blood supply to the tumor willbegin to shrink.

Make sure to have the conversation with the client to see if they can recall the source oftheir internal struggle or burdens they've been carrying with them. Dig a bit deeper tosee if they can even recall the time in their life or the event that is just as painful today asthe day it happened. Find out what's eating at them, literally. They don't need torespond to you, but they will know inside. Ask them to send LOVE with a capital L tothat situation or moment in time. Understand that it's easier for someone to send love toa situation rather than to themselves as it may have been a very long time since they'veloved themselves. So emphasize to them to send love to the situation.Once you've come to a place where your client feels they've succeeded in this first step


of sending love to the situation, ask them to then send LOVE to the cancer. You canalso join them in sending divine love to assist them with their struggles. Get permissionfrom your client to then send Divine Love into the past using the Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen,sending Love deep into the cancer as well. Don't forget that actively receiving canexponentially heighten their energetic involvement, so make sure that they do their partin actively receiving.

Lunch

Meditation

AttunementThere will be a long pause during the meditation, and that's when the Attunement takesplace. You should remain quiet until you're instructed to come back into your body. Theguided mediation will prepare you to fully receive the Attunement.

Hands on Practice


The MeditationUse the same meditation for the first, second and third degrees, with a slight variation.The differences lie in the second and third degree meditations. The second meditation isaltered so that they may formulate a relationship with their personal Reiki Spirit Guide,and in the third degree is altered to let Spirit take charge. Remember that anysuggestions made are simply that – suggestions. This information is already there forthe student, but you are the facilitator in guiding them to simply notice.

Since the students in the first degree of Reiki are usually new to all of this, the guide isnot even mentioned. There is a lot of information given here for those students to wraptheir brains around. It is your job to simply assist them in opening their minds to thestructure of life and the nature of energy. Each segment of the first degree is necessary,so be complete with the information given in this class.

In the mediation for the second and third degrees, make sure to slow the meditationdown, giving your students time to form the relationships with their guide and spirit.Insert longer pauses, allowing them them time to receive the images, sounds, voices, oreven “knowing”, as this is still difficult for some to bring into their awareness.

Teaching the AttunementsThe Attunement is the ritual of moving from one level of awareness to another.Remember during the Attunement, the student is given nothing new. This initiationopens the door to what you are already capable of. But each time a person receives anAttunement, a larger part of the density the student has acquired over their lifetime liftsfrom their physical body and releases. The depth of this process is truly indescribable.And based on the emotional density of the student, it may take three to four weeks forthe full effects of the Attunement to be realized.

Remember the pulling of the window shade entirely up to allow the most light within.Watch and be aware of our own process for about a month. Notice any physical oremotional changes. Also note that your intention will be more accurate.

It is through the meditation prior to the Attunement, that the teacher helps the studentopen his/her mind and body for the process. It assists the student in altering their ownenergy field to allow the exchange of energy. The energy altering meditation creates asoftness, compassion and love which is the greatest vibration of The Light.


During the Attunement, it is up to the student to allow the full effects to happen. TheMaster-Teacher cannot force the cleansing. Like everything in life, The Attunement canbe blocked or resisted, so it is always the students responsibility for their own level ofacceptance. By accepting the Attunement, the student is opening and expanding theircapability to hold a higher level of energy. The Attunement recharges the studentsenergy, and that rejuvenation releases blockages, allowing the natural energy to flowmore freely, including chakra surges.

The Master-Teacher's process in the Attunement is to build up the energy, then hold itwithin and finally to transmit it to the student. The teachers energy merges with thestudent's aura and whatever is being released by the student, is transferred through theTeacher and released out into the Light of the Universe. The teacher never takes thestudents karma within. It simply is released through them.

Each time an Attunement is received, a higher percentage of burdens are released and agreater healing has taken place. The symbols are incorporated within the entire physicalbody and aura of the student. Keep in mind also, that each time Reiki flows through thepractitioner during a session, a regenerative healing also takes place for the healer. Themore you run Reiki energy through you, the more energy your also being given, for adeeper and more profound self-transformation.

Teaching the Attunement - StepsAlways first create a sacred environment for your students. Your students will involvethemselves more completely in their experience.

Part 1" You have already informed them that they may hear deep breathing and loud

blowing while they wait for their Attunement." Remind the class to remain silent during the Attunement until all have received." Lead them in a preparatory meditation or guided visualization. This prepares you,

the Teacher to the Attunement as well as the students to receive the Attunement." At the end of the meditation, quietly stand and move to the first person to your

left. Have a silent prayer asking for the help of your spiritual guides, your Reikiguides as well as the angel helpers and archangel. Set your intent for theAttunement you are about to do. As an example, you could state, “This is a Reiki IAttunement”.


Part 2" Go in a clockwise direction in mimicking the spin of the chakras." Move behind the first person, drawing the Raku from the top of the head and

down the back." Place your hands on the persons shoulders and connect with their individual

energy." Once connected, place your hands on their head. When you feel the connection

with their crown, draw your hands in an upward motion, setting the intent to opentheir crown chakra.

" Draw the master symbol and the power symbol on your palm chakras. Then drawthe power symbol down the front of your body and on your solar plexus, heart,throat, third eye and crown chakras intending them to be open to the light. Drawout all symbols in the air in front of you intending their energy to fill the room,then proceed to inhale the light from above. Allow it to fill your head and beginto rotate clockwise. As it rotates, imagine it turning violet. Within the violet light,envision the Master Symbol.

" Reiki Level 1, 11& 111Attunements - Then breathe the violet light (this iscalled the Violet Breath) along with the Master Symbol into the students crown.Place your hands on top of the head but with NO intent to close the crown chakra.Now open your hands slightly and blow into the crown. Now envision the symbolmoving into the base of the brain as you chant Dai Ko Myo three times. As yourvisualize this symbol moving, your welcome to guide it with your right hand.

" Touch the students left shoulder signaling for them to raise their prayer claspedhands to the top of the head. The difference in Attunements are the symbolsplaced in the students hands.

" Reiki Level 1 – Draw the Power Symbol in the air above their hands. Envisionthis symbol moving into their hands, then down into their crown chakra, throughthe head and see it lodging itself into the base of the brain. Chant its name threetimes.

" Reiki Level 11 - Draw the Level 11 Symbols in the air above their hands.Envision each symbol moving into their hands, then down into their crownchakra, through the head and see it lodging itself into the base of the brain. Chanteach symbols name three times.

" Reiki Level 111 - Draw all Reiki Symbols including the Master Symbol in the airabove their hands. Envision each symbol moving into their hands, then down intotheir crown chakra, through the head and see it lodging itself into the base of thebrain. Chant each symbols name three times.

" Reiki Level 111 Master-Teacher - Draw all Reiki Symbols including the Master

Part 3" Walk around to the front of the student in a clockwise direction." Reiki Level 1 - Taking one hand at a time, draw the Power symbol into each palm

or slightly above separately so that both hands have the energy of the symboldrawn into them. (Note: I tap three times on each palm after all symbols areplaced. Do this if it resonates with you.)

" Reiki Level 11 - Taking one hand at a time, draw all Reiki Level 11 symbols intoeach palm or slightly above separately so that both hands have the energy of thesymbols drawn into them. (Note: I tap three times on each palm after all symbolsare placed. Do this if it resonates with you.)

" Reiki Level 111 / Master-Teacher - Taking one hand at a time, draw all symbolsincluding Master Symbol into each palm or slightly above separately so that bothhands have the energy of the symbols drawn into them. (Note: I tap three timeson each palm after all symbols are placed. Do this if it resonates with you.)

" Place their palms together, then breathe deeply in order to build your own energy.Open their hands slightly and blow once into their palms.

" Fold their hands and place them in prayer fashion at heart center. They can staytheir for as long as the student wishes.

Part 4" Move to the back of the student, placing your hands on their shoulders and look

down into crown. Imagine looking all the way down to their root chakra andimagine a red ball of fire there. Place a positive affirmation in the student's mindby repeating in your mind, “You are a successful and confident Reiki Healer.”

" Bring your hands together placing them at the base of the students skill, affirminginternally, “I seal this process with Divine Love and wisdom” while imagining adoor with the power symbol being closed and locked. Intend, will and feel that theprocess is sealed and complete with the student now being connected directly toReiki source.

" Once again draw the Raku from the top of the head down the back, disconnectingyourself from your students energy.


Part 5" Move to the front of the student with your hands waist high with palms facing

student. You then beam to them Reiki energy and internally bless them by stating,“You have been empowered with the gift of Reiki 1, 11, or 111.

" Move to the next student and repeat the process." Once each Attunement is complete, ask the students to breathe deeply and slowly.

Tell them to open their eyes only when they are ready.

Attunement Practice

Opening a Private PracticeKnow that there are truly enough clients for everyone. Build a reputation that precedesyou and you will then build your clientele. Keep your actions and thoughts positive.There is no room for trying to recruit people away from other Master/Teachers.Thoughts and actions like those come from a place of fear, not love, and don't serve for agood business. Keep your intent positive always.

Many people speak about opening their own Reiki practice, but it definitely is a goodidea to do this only after you've completed the third degree of training. At that time,you'll have much more experience and confidence to assist you in dealing with thenumerous physical and emotional situations that you will be faced with in dealing withthe public.

Another quite important thing to consider is if you have the ability to work without aregular schedule, health insurance or a weekly paycheck. All of these things are seriousissues to consider. If you do create a practice, even part-time, it's a great idea that youobtain your business with the state and obtain a Federal tax identification number.There are many reasons why one would want to incorporate that should be looked atwith an accountant and or attorney to weigh the benefits and requirements ofincorporating.

Whether you create a full or part-time practice, create professional business cards andgive them out like your business depends on it; because it does. Each time you do asession with anyone, friends family or clients, hand them two business cards. Onebusiness card is for the person to keep and the other is to give to a friend. Word ofmouth is always your best advertising, and will help you to be able to continue to grow


your business and gradually fade out a current job. You'll find a business createdgradually may have many benefits, one of which is that it will just happen seamlesslyand naturally, without feeling pressured.

Many consider working from their home to start out. Some things to consider here areyour needs and the needs of your your family's privacy. Remember these may very wellbe strangers in your home, and do you want them to know where you live? You'll alsoneed to have a dedicated and quiet space that will provide for healing withoutinterruptions such as loud pets, kids, telephones, etc. If this is the direction you moveyour business toward, a good idea is to make sure you know city zoning rules orneighborhood covenants regarding a home-based business.

If you are seriously considering an office space, there are ways you could find flexibilityand save on costs. You could try sharing a space with another Reiki or massage person.Or you could find a place that offers services similar to yous and see if you could renttheir table when needed on a per client basis. As you build your business this may startto become expensive, so maybe then you look for renting your own space.

Concerning payment, there are people that believe there shouldn't be a charge for usingthe gift of Divine Light while doing energy work on another. In the beginning of yourhealing journey, most of your business will come from the excitement of simply givinghealing to those around you, loved ones, friends as well as neighbors simply to showpeople more about the magic of this energy. This is what will help you to grow yourgifts as a healer and gain the experience. While this may certainly be OK for some, butif your looking for this to be your soul form of income, you must survive. You can lookat it as an even exchange of energy. You gave to your client, and the client gave back toyou in return.

There's usually always a question as to what you should charge for your services as well.Bear in mind that pricing varies in different places of the world. In my area, it variesfrom county to county in the same state, so the best way to gauge what to charge is tosee what the going rate is in your area using that as a guide. Also make sure to find outwhat the level of training is of the others in your area, comparable to their pricing, andset your price accordingly. Youmay decide to set your pricing just below theirs due toyour inexperience in the beginning, and change your pricing as your level of experiencegrows.

Bookkeeping for any new business is a must. Remember that it's easier to retain a clientthat will come back for more services than find new ones. So make sure to keep good


records or names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for each new clientyou attain. Keeping yourself and your services in front of them with perhapsweekly/monthly blogs, a newsletter, or discount coupons will pay dividends later in yourcareer. Also, don't forget that word of mouth will be your best source of income, so askfor the referral every time you meet with a client.

In Becoming the TeacherYour very first class should develop quickly simply by getting excited and tellingeveryone you know about Reiki and the upcoming class. With so many places online todevelop a marketing ad, make sure to post this class on all of your social media sites aswell. Remember too, that it is experience that will build your confidence, especially ifyou've never taught before, so keep the first class rather small for a learning curve. Youcould also create discounts for this first class as well, being that it will be your first.Knowing the material is one thing, but presenting it may bring a whole set of challengesand questions that arise with each class. Keep the class sizing smaller until you'vegained the confidence and are completely comfortable teaching.

Keep in mind that presenting the material will take the same time for just a few studentsas it would with many, so take each class as an opportunity to become a better teacher.Youwill learn to fine tune your teaching skills with each class, gaining the confidenceneeded to be the best teacher you can be.

Always begin the class by speaking about being on time coming back from breaks orlunch so that you may maintain control of the class. Most importantly, always begin ontime. Even if someone is legitimately stuck in traffic or an accident, don't allow oneperson to help you disregard or disrespect the others students time, who've made it apoint to be there on time. So you too must prepare your space and your material kitsahead of time, so that you can greet your students upon entering. Have snacks or wateralready layed out if you decide to offer these thing so that you can begin on time.

Once everything is prepared and your ready to begin, your goal is to assist your studentsto learn the material and become wonderful Reiki teachers as well. In doing this, it'simportant to remember that as a teacher, it is now your job to keep the class on track.This is a lot of material and if you allow the students to take control, it will not be apleasant first teaching experience. This is of utmost importance, so remember to bedirect in bringing the class back to the material at hand. You could hand out index cardsfor questions to be reviewed at the end of class for the sake of time in getting through allof the material. And always have blank pages for notes as there is a lot of information


to cover here.

Next at hand, is beginning the class with a brief review of all of the information in thefirst and second degree classes. Know that for lack of time, you cannot possibly teachthe entirety of them, but make sure to touch on the highlights of each segment. You'llbegin to notice the amazement of the students realizing just how much it is they learnedin those first two classes with you.

Values for Success on All LevelsImportant Principles on the Path of Reiki:

1. Learn to trust completely in your Higher-Self, Higher Power or Source of Reiki asyour source of guidance. This trust can be developed with over time and withexperience. This Higher Power is filled with complete wisdom.

2. With humility, be completely open and willing to look at, feel and release allimpurity within you so that you may be the clearest conduit of Reiki. This is whatwill allow your true light to shine more brightly. Remember that your outer worldis perfect reflection of your inner state.

In order to be truly successful, one must allow themselves to live their live through theprinciples of Reiki. This is a continual process of growth and healing, working withevery aspect of one's being that is out of alignment of their highest good. This is whatallows them to heal. One must release all negativity within as it arises and fully allow aReiki consciousness to replace it.

It is completely human to have a negative thought or feeling and it is so very importantfor us to accept that we are not perfect. Only then can we fully release those thoughtsinto the Reiki light to be healed.

As your Reiki skill grows, your personal power grows as well. As you dedicate your lifeto freeing yourself of negativity and healing completely, it is imperative to use yourpersonal power to help others connect more strongly to their Higher-Self so that they toomay find their own personal freedom.

Become an increasingly clear channel of Reiki and Divine love, wisdom and value theHigher-Self has to offer others through you. Focus on allowing that Divine light toshine through and you will never have to think about lacking or even competing with


others. Competing with others is not the Way of Reiki. Allowing life to flow throughyou to others is the Way of Reiki. It will heal you completely, bringing deep happiness,peace and true freedom.

If at points in your life, you find yourself having negative thoughts or feelings towardsothers or situations, remember to look within and be willing to just accept the dark partsof you that you may have hidden away. Ask to be shown the lessons they may containand allow yourself the time to learn the lessons. Remember to forgive yourself andrelease the imbalance or hurt into the Reiki Light. Only then can you let go of it and behealed from it. This is a courageous feat as it is a painful one, but it will be thefoundation of your success in life. Any negativity in life comes with a lesson to belearned, so you will come to realize that all things that appear in your life are a blessing.

Lastly, be sure to treat all people, even your students with the greatest of respect.Remember that all people are your teachers. We are all ONE. Encourage everyone toconnect with his or her own power so that we can all attain our own personal freedom.What you put out into the universe will come back to you tenfold. Trust in theabundance of the universe and you too will be blessed with peace and joy.
