Shirebrook Leisure Centre is only a nine-minute drive from Thirteen Row and offers a gym, a floodlit five-a-side pitch, a skate park, a squash court, badminton courts and a children’s soft play area. Shirebrook also has an Everlast Fitness Club providing a gym, classes and personal training, and the Rebecca Adlington Swimming Centre is just a 15-minute drive away.

This area is steeped in heritage and boasts an array of celebrated historic houses for you to explore and enjoy. Bolsover Castle is just a five-minute drive from Thirteen Row and hosts a fantastic programme of events all year round from carol concerts to ghost tours.

The Horse & Groom Inn, a traditional family pub, is a mile away at Scarcliffe and hosts twice-monthly classic car meets. The Devonshire, an 8-minute drive away, is renowned for great food, as is The Hardwick Inn 14 minutes away. And Bolsover has an excellent selection of cafes, including The Pump Tea Rooms, the Courtyard Kitchen and Mason’s Little Café.

Nearby Bolsover and Shirebrook have a variety of independent shops and there’s a Tesco Superstore just a 10-minute drive from Thirteen Row.
