The Weekly Article from
Father Shane Campbell
In the last couple of weeks I have been announcing the Adult Education class that we have coming up this Tuesday, October 27th starting at 7pm. I would like to extend a personal invitation to all of you to consider taking part in this class. Even if you would like to join us for us one class and check it out, I invite you to do so. This FREE class will meet every Tuesday evening from 7pm-8:30pm in room 100 in the school. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us who have been Catholic all of lives and those who are wanting to enter the faith to join together to learn and grow with each other. Every once in a while, it is good for us to learn and grow in our faith and this is the perfect opportunity to do so. Deacon Bob Wingenbach and I will be co-teaching again this year. We will again be using the program called “Symbolon.” This program states that: “Catholicism is an entire way of life. But today it’s not known. We might be
familiar with different aspects of the Catholic faith. But how does it all fit
together? And what difference does it make for our lives? "Symbolon: The
Catholic Faith Explained" opens up the “big picture” of the Catholic faith in a
way that helps us know it, live it and articulate it to others.” To learn more about the Symbolon Program, you can visit http://symboloncatholic.org/. If you are interested in joining us for this great journey, please call the parish office so we can have enough materials ready for you or even feel free to join us on the first night of class! Next Sunday, November 1, we will hold our annual Remembrance Mass for all those who have passed away from our parish family in the last year. Mass will be held at 4pm. Everyone is welcome to join us for this beautiful Mass and remember of all those who have been loved and lost. Have a wonderful and blessed week!

Diocese of Bismarck Mass for God’s Children
Bishop Kagan will offer a Mass for God’s Children, 6 p.m., Thursday,
Nov. 5 at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, for all the children that God has
called to His arms directly from the womb or from the care of his or her parents before adulthood.
Often, families who have lost a child in the womb do not have the opportunity to grieve their loss with their faith community, and families who have otherwise
lost a child yearn for further opportunities to remember, grieve, and pray for them. All are welcome to attend, please join us in praying for these children and
their families.
If you would like your child or family remembered in the program, and/or if
your family would like to process a flower to the Mary statue to ask for her prayers for your child and family, register online at bismarckdiocese.com/
godschildren or contact Christie at 864-354-5046

Marriage Encounter Upcoming Retreat Married couples – Consider doing something great for yourselves and your marriage. A series of presentations are given by a team of Catholic couples and a priest. The focus of the weekend is the couple, not group sessions. The presenta-tions allow each couple a rare opportunity to look at themselves as individuals, then look at their marriage and relationship to each other, and finally to look at their relationship to God, the church, and the world. After each presentation, the husband and wife have time in the privacy of their room for their own personal discussion.
