Le tensioni residue possono essere originate dai seguenti processi:

2. Trattamenti Termici e termochimici

2. La virtualizzazione permette anche di verificare se è opportuno un Trattamento Termico di Distensione
3. ProCAST è un software con tecnologia agli Elementi Finiti che esporta le tensioni residue al software
strutturale per calcolare la vita a fatica del componente in modo più affidabile
