LGBTQ Mentors

The goal of LGBTQ mentorship at All Saints Church is to help LGBTQ individuals connect to the greater ASC community, ASC’s LBGTQ community, and the larger LGBTQ community of greater Los Angeles. We focus on providing welcome and information, providing a personal connection into our ASC community, and supporting mentees in accessing our community’s resources. Our LGBTQ mentors are of different genders, cultures, and are avail-able to communicate in several languages. For more information or to be connected to an LGBTQ mentor, please contact Jamie Hebert 626.583.2765 [email protected].

Small GroupsAll Saints Church is a big, fun and energetic place. And, sometimes it’s hard to meet new

people and develop friendships. Small Groups provide an opportunity for friends and member

of All Saints Church to form deeper connec-tions and wider service within the church and

community — with a primary emphasis on caring for each other. All Small Groups will have trained facilitators and be open to new church members and folks who have been with All Saints through the decades. Stay tuned for details coming soon!

At All Saints Church we are committed to respecting the dignity of every human being – and that includes their gender identity/expres-sion. We practice that commitment by creating

welcoming and inclusive spaces – including restroom facilities that are physically accessible

(ADA compliant) and open to people of any gender, or “gender neutral,” as an important way to show full welcome and inclusion. Toward that

end, new signage will make that welcome explicit and direct those who desire them to the nearest

gender neutral facility. The changes that were made to the men’s rooms

a few months ago toward the goal of creating more gender neutral restroom spaces turned

out to be a well-intentioned but premature effort that failed to solve the issue we were striving to

address and created other problems. In response, the men’s rooms in Regas House were replumbed this week … with the upside benefit that the new

fixtures are more water efficient and environmentally friendly.

In the weeks ahead, the rector will be engaging both staff and ministry leaders here at All Saints, and transgender and non-binary persons at All

Saints and in the wider community to explore what it means for us to be maximally welcoming and

affirming of all God’s beloved human family.

Donations for Prison MinistryA reminder from the Prison Gift Ministry: While

donations of toiletries are always accepted, at this time, we are in urgent need of stationery, tea, and coffee singles. Donations can be dropped off at

the Main Lobby.
