All FBC members are asked to mark the enclosed ballot and place it in the offering plate. Cookies, Cocoa, Coffee & Caroling - Bring your family and join us on Wednesday, December 13 as we meet in the Welcome Center at 5:30 pm to enjoy Christmas cookies, hot cocoa and coffee. Then we’ll load the vans to go caroling at nursing homes in the area and to the homes of some senior saints in our church family. Churchwide Potluck Dinner - Bring a salad, vegetable or dessert and join us at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, December 20 in the Family Life Center. FBC will supply turkey with dressing, ham, rolls and drinks. To help with set up and food preparaon, reservaons are needed. Stop by the table in the Welcome Center or call the church office to sign up to aend. Grace Marriage--Do you want a beer marriage? Does the busyness of life seem to squeeze out your me together? If so, take a proacve, wellness approach and sign up for a Grace Marriage coaching group. You will take one day (6 hours) every three months, to look at the big picture, be refreshed by God’s grace, and invest in the most important horizontal relaonship in your life. Registraon is now open for Grace Marriage Coaching 2018. For more informaon and to sign up, visit the table in the Welcome Center or visit the FBC Murray website. December Schedule - We will have combined worship services at 11:00 am on December 17, December 24 (no Sunday School), and De- cember 31. The 8:30 worship services will resume on January 7, 2018. On Sunday, December 24, we will have Christmas Eve services at 11:00 am, and 3 pm. There will be no Sunday School on Christmas Eve. The Church Office will close at noon on Friday, December 22, and will be closed all day on Monday, December 25, Tuesday, December 26, Friday, December 29, and Monday, January 1. In case of an emergen- cy, you can call the church office and leave a message. Our church phone system will keep the staff informed should certain needs arise. Year End Giving - We will be closing out the financial year of 2017 soon. We hope that God has blessed each of you financially and that you have been good stewards of His resources. In order for you to claim a deducon in 2017 for contribuons that you make to FBC, your contribuons must be received in the church office by December 29, 2017 or postmarked no later than December 30, 2017. Contri- buons that you make in 2018 cannot be deducted on your 2017 tax return even if the check is dated 2017. Our church will be following these rules as we issue charitable contribuon statements. 2017 World Mission Offering Envelopes for the World Mission Offering have a blue border and can be found on the back of each pew. .
