3-D Printing 3-6 students had to design a key tag that could be 3-D printed. Firstly, we needed to understand how to use the design software TinkerCAD. In TinkerCAD we then had to design a key tag that had be less than 60mm long, 40mm wide and 4mm thick. We could add our name to the top, which had to be 3mm high. Once our design was complete and within the guidelines we had to export it as a .stl file to the collaboration folder on the server. From there Mr Katen could print them. Lachlan Graham

News from K-2
This past week we have been learning about
Remembrance Day and the importance of it being
100 years since we first had Armistice Day. We
created our own wreath of poppies, did some
research, listened to the last post and stood
beautifully still for our 1 minute of silence.
Miss Shaw
News from 3-6 Students have been designing 3-D objects for printing. This has been an excellent exercise not just for the design aspects but a great chance to use their mathematics skills. All designs had to be created to meet per set criteria and then exported in a suitable format to a shared network folder for printing. There was an amount of design and redesign to develop a set of guidelines that suited the project. Mr Katen
