Announcements! Mark Your Calendar!
HOMELESS MINISTRY: Thank you for all your support with the socks for the homeless! Those items were very much appreciated! We now have need of hygiene prod-ucts, such as shampoo, soap, wipes, toothpaste & toothbrushes, combs, hair brushes, deodorants, etc. These items are economical when purchased at the 99c or Dollar Tree stores. Please deposit them in box in the foyer.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: During the month of November the Women’s Bible Study will join the men as they finish studying Hosea. Heather Gonzalez will be traveling.
SOLID ROCK FELLOWSHIP: The usual meetings held the 2nd and 4th Fridays, will be changed during the month of November due to the Vietnamese language church’s Noodle Night Fundraiser and Thanksgiving. In November the group will meet only on the 3rd Friday, November 17th—THIS FRIDAY! See Susie Pinckard for any ques-tions regarding the above. Thank you!
PARKING LOT TREES NEED HELP: There are 2 trees in the parking lot that need some immediate help! Pastor Jean Morgan sent out an email, explaining the pressing issues with two of the trees on church property. One is next to the entrance driveway, next to the White House on Bushard. It is obviously dead, however, there is a crack developing which makes the situation urgent if there were a rain or wind storm. It could fall on a vehicle or persons crossing on the sidewalk. The other tree is very overgrown and not only blocks the view of the church but also is overhanging windows and eves of the church, making it a dangerous situation. Normally, the cost for trimming the live trees, removing the dead tree plus disposing of the green trash is $1,400 however, the tree removal service will only charge us $1,100. Consider giving a special offering today.
Darlene Lamme’s Mom– Taken to the hospital with congestive heart fail-
ure. They were able to extract much of the retained water and she is back
home feeling much better, but needing care to heal. Please pray for her.
Philip—one of the homeless men that Susie Pinckard feeds every week, is in
need of surgery, but the doctor’s won’t operate unless he can lower his
blood sugar. Pray the Lord shows His power, that Philip may believe!
Freddie DeLeon—continue to pray for him and all the issues due to his ex-
posure to agent orange during his military days. Pray that they will be able
to transfer him to a hospital setting, where they can monitor him better and
normalize his ammonia levels and all its complications. Keep his mom, Hen-
rietta, in prayer, too. This up and down in his condition has been difficult for
her. She needs God’s strength and encouragement to keep on trusting!
Peter Haugo—Pray for his nephew, Jasher, who has been diagnosed with
Autism. Continue to pray for his mom and dad and permanent care.
Mary (Susie’s Friend) - is looking for a different job. Needs God’s guidance.
Tami Gari’s Son, Junior—has pneumonia, pray for fast recovery and no fur-
ther complications.
All those with chronic issues—many are battling health issues, such as dia-
betes, neuropathy, cancer, and arthritis, which causes much pain.
