Bible Garden Update

The site is now ready for planting out

the 5 trees chosen to occupy the west

garden. They are a brown fig, olive,

pomegranate, almond and apricot.

The final selection was based on their

utility as cropping plants so that

eventually the congregation and

community can share. Other obvious

plants such as the date palm and the

sycamore tree grow into very large

trees which one day would cause

problems and so will not be planted.

The planting out date is yet to be

decided. In the meantime now that

the cooler weather has arrived, the

herbs and other perennials will be

planted.
