The cost is $8 for each plant. Please make payment payable to FCSUMC and place it with the order form (found in the rack across from Pastor John’s office, by the south entrance) in Jeannie Pelen’s mailbox by March 22nd. DAY! April 25th, come out and help neighbors with lawn work and handyman projects. If you know someone who could use some help, please contact Laurie Murry!

WANTED: A FREEZER! A local family with several older children is seeking a freezer so they can buy items in bulk and save money. If you have a freezer that you would like to part with, please contact Laurie Mur-ry ([email protected], 938-1928, ext. 117).

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO ORDER EGGS! Orders will be accepted aCer today but will

only be filled as eggs are available. You will receive a call if and when the order is filled.

The last day to pick up eggs is APRIL 1ST. ANY egg orders remaining aCer that will be do-

nated to a charitable organiza;on.

Item of the Month: Ever watch the news and wish there was some-

thing you could do to help? Iraq and Syria are two of the countries

Mission Central sends health kits. This month we are collec;ng

individually wrapped toothbrushes for the kit.

Please place the wash cloths in the bin marked "Mission Central

Item of the Month" located at the end of the hall outside Nursery

School rooms (rooms 112-114).

The Youth of FCSUMC will host an egg hunt on March 29th for children up to 5th grade. Each year we ask our church family to support this event by donating wrapped candy or small trin-kets that we will use to fill the eggs. Donations will be accepted until March 22nd. We are also in need of 18 hole egg cartons. All donations can be placed in the labeled bin in the Mission Corner.

SALEM’S RIDE MINISTRY NEEDS YOU! We are in need of driver’s to

help those without transportation get to doctor appointments. If you are

interested in becoming part of the “Ride Ministry”, sign up on the Connection

Card or contact Carolyn Funk (938-2692).

WANT TO MAKE AN IMPACT ON CHILDHOOD HUNGER? Some children

do not have enough to eat on the weekends when they are not attending

school. To help combat this issue, Salem is currently packing food bags for

Fishing Creek Elementary and we are looking to expand to another school.

Volunteers got to New Hope Ministries (located in Mechancisburg), pack bags,

and deliver them to the school each week. To learn more about the PowerPac

Program, mark your Connection Card or contact Laurie Murry

HAITI MISSION TRIP INFORMATIONAL MEETING: Matt Riggins, from Global

Partners, will be at Salem TODAY for an informational meeting for those interested in

joining the Haiti Mission trip team for this June. The meeting will be held at 12:00pm in

Room 115 and will last about 15-20 minutes followed by a “Q & A” time.
