Birthdays that fall between the 16 th December and the end of the year will be celebrated at Church and any in the first few days of the New Year will be celebrated at the Celebration assembly in the first week back after the holidays. Walk-in Tuesday - The couple of weeks leading up to the end of term are always busy. Tuesday 10 th will be no exception. There is a performance of the KS1 nativity in the afternoon followed by Walk-in Tuesday straight after school. Another KS1 performance takes place in the evening at 6pm. Walk - in Tuesday will therefore finish at 3.45pm. MOVIE NIGHT TONIGHT 5-7pm Children can come in their pyjamas or onesies and bring a pillow and a blanket. Don’t forget to bring a lidded drinks bottle too. Christmas Decorations Thank you to everyone who has already brought in a decoration for our Christmas tree, Why not send some time this weekend making a small decoration to put on the tree. All entries will receive a small token and every overall year group winner will receive a prize. Christmas Postbox - The Christmas postbox is now open. Please put all Christmas cards into the box. Remember to put the child’s first and last name and their class on the envelope. Cards are sorted each day by our Year five children and are given out at the end of each day. Christingle service - Thank you to the year five children and the ‘Christingle team’ for creating the Christingle oranges in their workshop this morning. Reconnection is an Age Concern initiative that seeks to help older members of our community who have become isolated and lonely. The initiative helps them reintegrate into community activities to help combat loneliness. Our children will lead a community carol singing session. Choir at Cavendish House - Thank

you to the children who sang at Cavendish

House Care home this afternoon – you were

brilliant! Thank you to all the parents and the

minibus driver who transported us to and from the home.

We will be singing there again the week after next at a

Music box – We have been listening to a song

called “Mary did you know?” during our assemblies.

It is sung by an acapella group called Pentatonix.

They have also produced other beautiful renditions

of carols – Little drummer boy and Silent to name a

From January, the school will be cashless. No more

cash will be taken in the office. All payments will be

on ParentPay or, as a last resort, by cheque.

All meals MUST be ordered online.

Volunteers are still needed

for the Christmas Fayre. If

Christmas Wonderland Come and see your wreath! Friday 6th December 6-8pm Mulled wine and mince pies with a view of the Christmas display. Also on Saturday 10-4pm with tea, cake & stalls

Christmas Party Friday 20th December

Please send £2.00 per child into school in a named,

sealed envelope for the Christmas party by next

Friday and post in PTA box. The PTA will cover the

remaining costs – including the entertainer. We will go

to church first thing in the morning for our end of

term service and then return to school to prepare for

the party. PLEASE SEND PARTY CLOTHES IN A

NAMED BAG THAT MORNING so that the children

can change just before lunch. Please send a spare

carrier into school so that children can bring home

all of their Christmas crafts and cards.
