Technology is only technology to those who were born before it.

We need to prepare students for THEIR future not ours.

Teachers need to stop saying, “Hand it in,” and start saying “Publish It.”

We have moved from “know what” learning to “know where” learning.

The largest number of podcasts in education are about podcasts in education.

We need to replicate in the classroom the world in which students are living.

If we teach today the way we were taught yesterday we aren't preparing students for today or tomorrow.

We increasingly see that the 21st century skills most in demand are those that require

"expert thinking" and "complex communication,“

used to conveying not just information but a particular interpretation of information.

Badness you can get easily, in quantity: the road is smooth, and it lies close by. But in front of excellence the immortal gods have put sweat, and long and steep is the way to it, and rough at first. But when you come to the top, then it is easy, even though it is hard.

Hesiod, c. 700 B.C.
