The city contains many street skating spots, but five in particular that are most common and popular to visit. These five points around the CBD create a network, or a zone, that most skating occurs in. As a result, this area of the city contains the highest skating activity.
These diagrams are to show that the path of a skateboarder is effected by by a series of significant points. If one point is changed or altered, then the entire journey is different as a result.
This exercise was about trying to visually represent the movements and actions a skateboarder takes as he moves through the city streets. Using different pens with varying colours and lineweights it tries to show everything from the calmness of rolling down a street, through to the violent movements of jumping up and down gutters.
