Those Amazing Morgan FoalsWe welcome the foal crop of 2012 with this, a Morgan Horse photo contest.

Participants have been solicited under the following guidelines:• Amateur photography only.

• Maximum of two photos per entrant.*• Photos need to be 300dpi.

• Content of photo must be of one foal or mare/foal only per image.• All foals must be born in 2012 and eligible for registration with the Morgan Registry.

• Name of sire and dam must be included with submission.• Include the name of owner/breeder and photographer.

JUDGING OF CONTEST: Photos will be judged for three awards: 1. Morgan Character to be judged by Jay Kleiber, Ridgewood Farm;

2. Artistic Composition to be judged by Howie Schatzberg, Schatzberg Photography; and 3. Reader’s Choice (which will be voted on via Facebook).

Results of the contest will be published in the December issue.*The final number of photos published may be limited by space considerations.

The only thing to pop up more quickly than a newborn Morgan foal in the spring, is a camera to capture the special moments that a baby brings. Enjoy the crop of 2012 in the photos that follow.
