The meter is manufactured of high quality materials, wich the employment of advanced technologies. A good anti-corrosive protection is ensured to the whole product.
*** May also be with errors on load profile according to class 1
CaseThe base is manufactured of steel plate or bakelite, ensuring the meter fastening on the panel in three points. The cover is manufactured of aluminium, and is fastened in three points on the base by means of sealable screws or of polycarbonate or bakelite fastened in two points on the base. The meter tightness is obtained by means of a rubber gasket, between the base and the cover.
The rotor is manufactured of two discs of high purity aluminium fastened on a stainless steel spindle. The upper part of the disc is marked at the edge with 100 marks for the stroboscopic calibration and a sign to allow disc rotation counting for checking and calibration purposes. The meters can be provided with a reversal-preventing device fitted on the rotor spindle.
BearingsThe upper bearing is of the rotor guiding spindle type. The spindle is manufactured of stainless steel. The lower bearing is of double sapphire type or with magnetic suspension, which insures a long operating life.
The terminal block is manufactured of bakelite. The terminals enable the connection of cables having up to 5 mm diameter for Imax£ 45 A, or having up to 9 mm (8 or 10 mm) for Imax£ 120 A and with the diameter up to 12 mm (11mm) for Imax> 120 A.
The terminal cover is manufactured of steel plate, polycarbonate or bakelite. It shall be mounted on the terminal block by means of two sealable screws. The connecting diagram is provided inside the cover.
The frame is manufactured of AlSi alloy by die casting, ensuring high mechanical resistance and long time dimensional stability.
The driving element is manufactured of the current and voltage electromagnets. The voltage coils are covered with a heat shrinking tube (made of PVC). The current coils are made of copper conductors insulated with synthetic resin on plastic material cases, ensuring good insulation against the core.
The braking element is made up of two permanent magnets manufactured of AlNiCo alloy which ensure long time stability of the magnetic field. The magnet is provided with a device for compensating the errors due to ambient temperature variations. The braking element is provided with pins for the meter fine adjustment at rated load.
The register consists of 6 or 7 drums manufactured of aluminium or of plastic material mounted on a rigid frame. The figures are white on a black field, a good reading being thus ensured.
The adjustment devices are easily accessible from the meter front and do not suffer modifications during handling and transport. The adjustment ranges fall within the limits allowed by IEC 62053-11, EN 50470-2 and IEC 60145.
