THANK YOU FROM KEECH HOSPICE CARE
Luton’s parks and landmarks came alive with a perfect parade of vibrant elephant sculptures as The Big Trunk Trail came to town. It was Keech Hospice Care’s way of saying thank you to everyone for supporting the charity over the past 30 years.
Communities came together to #JoinTheHerd and rediscover Luton, while learning about each unique artwork and spending much-needed time together following a di cult sixteen months for everyone.
Social media was alive with “elphies” (elephant selfi es!), stories and updates of people’s adventures around the trail. They tweeted and posted their favourite sculptures and trail highlights as they walked, ran or cycled their way around the herd.
The Keech Connect app gave trail visitors hours of 3D fun with our amazing, augmented reality feature, including people taking elephants home, on holiday and even to work!
This trail would not have been possible without total commitment from our supporting partners, sponsors, artists, volunteers and local businesses, as well as the wider team from Keech Hospice Care. Thank you all.
We’re unbelievably at the fi nal part, the auction. Please dig deep, bid generously, and help Keech Hospice Care continue making the di erence when it matters the most to children and adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Good luck from The Big Trunk Trail team at Keech Hospice Care.
WHAT AN ELEPHANT-TASTICSUMMER IT HAS BEEN!

A WORD FROM OURAUCT IONEER
Renowned Auctioneer Charles Hanson and the team at Hansons Auctioneers are proud to host The Big Trunk Trail Charity Auction.
“We’re privileged to auction o many incredible items but this stunning collection of elephants is truly unique. I cannot wait for the theatre, drama and romance of the evening whilst raising money for such a wonderful cause as Keech Hospice Care. We will make a memory!”
A WORD FROM MARK RUSSELL, PROUD DAD OF HARRY“My son Harry sadly passed away at Keech Hospice Care on 17 November 2015, aged 3 years old. Although Harry had a short life, the most signifi cant moment for him and certainly for us as a family, was when Keech came into our lives. Keech made Harry’s last year very much
about life and showed us how to make every moment count.
From fun times in the hydrotherapy pool to music therapy, they helped us make memories that will last forever. Keech support our family to this day, which is why we as a family continue to raise awareness and much needed funds whenever we can, and that is why I’ll be sharing our story with you on Auction Night.”
