Judy Tesch read "The Snowman's Christmas" to the 16 eager young- sters. Each pre-schooler told Mrs. Judy what he was going to ask Santa to bring him on Christmas morning. Upon Santa's arrival, the children became very quiet, each staring at Santa, dressed in his usual garb of red and white. Then youngsters sat on Santa's lap and told Santa what he wanted for Christmas. In return, Santa's helpers, Aileen Peck, Carolyn Brisco, gave each youngster a bag of goodies, donated by the Sheridan Parents and Teachers. The 16 pre-schoolers attending were Jesse Ross, Lori Peterson, Hank Peterson, Mikey Beyette, Margret Fuller, Jordyn and Kayleigh Pause- wang, Ryan Moore, Tara Tesch, Tho- mas and Bryan Layton, Meg Gunde- lach, Jessica Hill, Brittany Moore, Ashley Carlin and Cody Munoz. Adults attending were Melissa Munoz, Jason Pausewang, Charlotte Fuller, Dawn Moore, Crystal Carlin, Michelle Layton, Deborah Gunde- lach, Susan Layton, Lisa and Clark Peterson, Leah Ross, Dorothy Brown, Judy Hill, Jenavee Peterson and Lil- lian Gohlke. Refreshments were served and then gifts were exchanged. Upon leaving, each of the young- sters received bags of candy and books from the library and Judy Tesch. For each of the regular attendees during the year, Jenavee Peterson gave each one a handmade snowman. The pre-school story hour will resume Jan. 6. * * * The Sheridan Memorial Library received a $1,000 check from Shell Oil Foundation for the eighth straight year in support of its activities. Lake Baptist Church Nov. missionary lessons Basic theme: 'The Bride of Christ" A bride is a woman, making prepa- ration to meet the groom, "thee", church," the "Blood washed," Re- deemed "true" believers are the ones, that the graves will burst wide open at the return of the Groom, and shall be caught up "first", to meet "Christ", in the mid-air, isn't that wonderful. According to Ephesians 5:25, "Christ" is the one that loved the Church and gave Himself as a sacri- fice to make the church His bride. As a bride of Christ, the church has the responsibility to be faithful, to her betrothal (pledge of marriage). We ought to praise God daily to know (not guessing) we are the affection of His Son: and one day will be married to Him. Rev. 19: 7-9. Second Week Theme: "The Sheep-Fold." John 10:1-16 Johnl0:l-16tellsusthata"sheep- fold" was a place where the shepherd kept the sheep at night, for their pro- tection from the robber, and thief. "A thief is someone that breaks into your home when you're not around and steals what they want or see. "A rob- ber" is someone determined to take from another, using violence and by killing. Jesus calls Himself "the good shepherd", John 10:27. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice and I know them, and they follow Me. Third Week Theme: "Christ Concern for the Sheep." I Pet. 5:1-4 Concern means, having a deep interest in a person (or) people. Jesus willingly "gave" his life for the sheep. In John 10:18, Jesus said, "No man taketh my life from me, but I lay it down of myself. Jesus asked Peter in John 21:15-17 "Do you love me, "Yes Lord," feed my lamb (young ones)" Peter"Doyou love me, "Yes Lord," feed my "sheep". The Master is deeply con- cerned that the lamb and sheep be fed his word. I Peter 5:1, Apostle Peter said, "I am a witness of the suffering of Christ and also a partaker of the "Glory" that shall be revealed. God told Peter, and that go for all "called" ministers, to feed the flock of God. Not by con- straint (not by force) but willingly, also, notforfilthy lucre (money) butof a ready mind. Fourth Week Theme: "Fellow- ship in the Body." I John 1:3-7 This John, wrote the Gospel of John, first, second and third Epistle of John, and the consummation (wrap up (or) her after book) Revelation. Fellowship means, a state of unity and harmony. I John 1:3 says, the things we have heard and seen, we declare unto you "truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his son Jesus Christ." Only by our identity to Jesus Christ by Faith, can we be recon- ciled to God and have this fellowship. When we have fellowship with God it makes fellowship with others pos- sible. Being in a fellowship hall com- municating does not mean there is unity and harmony. Only when the indwelling of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) take resident in the heart of our mind can this unity be. The blood of Jesus Christ, make divine provision, for by him all things consist (stand). So let us walk in the light and live in fellowship, with the Father and the Son. "sheep". The Master is deeply con- cerned that the lamb and sheep be fed his word.

I Peter 5:1, Apostle Peter said, "I am a witness of the suffering of Christ and also a partaker of the "Glory" that shall be revealed. God told Peter, and that go for all "called" ministers, to feed the flock of God. Not by con- straint (not by force) but willingly, also, notforfilthy lucre (money) butof a ready mind.

Fourth Week Theme: "Fellow- ship in the Body." I John 1:3-7

This John, wrote the Gospel of John, first, second and third Epistle of John, and the consummation (wrap up (or) her after book) Revelation.

Fellowship means, a state of unity and harmony. I John 1:3 says, the things we have heard and seen, we declare unto you "truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his son Jesus Christ." Only by our identity to Jesus Christ by Faith, can we be recon- ciled to God and have this fellowship. When we have fellowship with God it makes fellowship with others pos- sible. Being in a fellowship hall com- municating does not mean there is unity and harmony. Only when the indwelling of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) take resident in the heart of our mind can this unity be.

The blood of Jesus Christ, make divine provision, for by him all things consist (stand). So let us walk in the light and live in fellowship, with the Father and the Son.

Sin, interrupts but confession re- stores that fellowship and keeps it unbroken.

Emily Michelle weighed six pounds and measured 18-1/2 inches at birth. Dr. Judy Cheng was the attend- ing physician.

She was welcomed home by her big brother, Justin.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe B. Rodriguez Sr. of Eagle Lake.
