Dear Members, As many of you have already heard, we were recently vandalized. On the night of June 19th or early morning of the 20th someone

poured used motor oil on two of our Tennis courts.

Our staff has spent approximately 70 man hours working to get the oil stain out. While it does look better than I originally thought it would, there remains a permanent stain.

I can only guess at the motives of the individual(s) that did this, maybe they don’t like the Club or it’s members, perhaps they don’t like the racquet sports or they just thought it was a fun thing to do. No matter the reason it was a classless and small minded act.

We have involved the Sheriffs Office and they will step up patrols in the neighborhood. I believe the person or persons responsible for this are most likely known to at least a few members. If you’ve heard something or have information regarding the vandalism, please let us know.

Additionally we are in the process of updating and adding onto our camera system around the Club.

See you at the Club,

Mike Stanton, CCM

General Manager/

COO

Do not forget we need to take care of our skin all year long but particularly in the summer months. One great way to protect your skin is with a really good sun screen. We carry two cream screens (SPF 25 & SPF 50) and one spray (SPF 20). When we combine the protection with a cleaner and lotion it is a start to insure better skin health.

For the month of July, Yon Ka Paris has packaged their Cleansers with the appropriate lotion and allowed us to sell at a reduced price. The Gel Nettoyant (normal to oily skin) and the Lait Nettoyant (normal to dry skin) are both cleansers and regularly priced at $35.00. The respective Lotion for normal to oily skin is the Lotion PNG and for normal to dry skin is Lotion PS. The regular price for both lotions is $36.00. If you buy both a cleanser and Lotion in the month of July the two together cost $55.00; a savings of $16.00!

The staff at the fitness center wipe down all equipment and mats daily. One thing that would really help is in the new stretch mat area. Please make sure to wipe the mat area down after you have finished. We have noted several times excessive sweat left after someone has used the area. We always keep a bottle of sanitizer nearby. If there is not a bottle please inform the fitness desk and we will replace the bottle.
