LUM Jubilee Christmas registration is closed — and more than 650 local families and 1780 children are signed up. Churches & organizations across the county will host 25 events on Saturday, December 12.
Consider a gift in honor of a friend or family member in lieu of a holiday gift. LUM will send a card sharing that a donation was made by you in their name.

The Donation Center will be open starting Monday, November 30 through December 6, weekdays from 1-5 p.m. (525 N 4th Street, Lafayette—rear entrance). New, unwrapped toys, clothing (newborn to 12-year-olds), and quilts/blankets are welcome.

Please join us for the 29th Annual LUM Community Thanksgiving Celebration & Dinner next Thursday, November 26 from noon to 2 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church, Lafayette.

Start your holiday off on the right foot by joining us for the Tri-N-Run Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning (11/26) at the Lafayette Golf Course (800 Golfview Road). Turkey Trot proceeds benefit Lafayette Urban Ministry. Runners, walkers, strollers, & dogs are welcome! Turkey Trot 5K details are as follows:
Registration Fee: Adults—$35; Youth—$10
Packet Pick-Up; Wednesday, 4-6 p.m. at Tri-N-Run (350 E. State St., West Lafayette)
Day of Race: Check-In—6:30 a.m.; Race time—8 a.m.

Security Staff Positions - Emergency Shelter
Type: Par t-time, paid
Pay: $10.00 per hour
Hours: Daily - 8 p.m. to midnight or midnight to 7 a.m.
Duties:
Maintains safety of guests, volunteers and premises, a team environment modeling mutual respect, and a professional and safe environment
Ensures compliance with Shelter Rules
Monitors arrival, departure, activity within shelter, activity outside within three block of the building
Disciplines guests who are noncompliant; refers guests to police when necessary
Submits written reports of daily activities and incidents
