Usually people chat in pairs/groups, discussing anything of mutual interest - the key thing is to try to communicate only in French! We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month (Bingham - Wheatsheaf) and the 4th Wednesday of the month (Orston - Durham Ox), any me from 7.30pm onwards. The Parish Council would like to thank Claire Grace for raising £230 by selling all the large poppies displayed around the village enabling us all to remember those heroes who fought for us so bravely. Normal sized poppies will sll be sold door to door. 5.30pm torchlight procession of the guy from The Village Hall 6.15pm bonfire lighng, followed by fireworks Food, Licensed Bar and BBQ on site and shelter is available. Venue - Field on Spa Lane opposite Recreaon Ground, NG13 9PL Great news for Lombard Street!!! PLEASE NOTE: Lombard Street will be closed on Wednesday 8 th November, 8am – 5pm for resurfacing work to take place. The village hall car park is available for residents to park their cars on that day.     Tuesday 19th December 6.5 mile walk, followed by
